If it was possible to give 0 stars I would . I went to Crossgates branch four weeks ago to pick a fabric for a blind that I wanted fitting before I went on holiday and was told someone would call me in the next week to arrange a time to come and measure and nobody bothered. I then called them back and was told someone would ring me back that day and I left two contact numbers as I was at work and again no one bothered. I've since been on holiday and contacted them again when I got back and was told all my details were lost so I left two contact numbers AGAIN for someone to call me back and no one bothered. I tried one last time and was told someone would ring me Tuesday between 12 and 1 to come and measure and heard nothing. I rang at one and was told no one was then available until Friday so I've given up and gone with another company who are coming straight out tomorrow. Absolutely disgusting. My kitchen is now taking even longer to finish .

A big thank you to all the staff at Chiltern Mills at Stockton branch , great friendly staff who are there at your need taking time to talk and helping you out in a great bargain buy I’m always coming away happy and with an extra couple of bags haha! (Thanks Sam you top lass) , And thanks to Tom for all your expertise on furniture .

I bought some luxury curtains from here. I say luxury! Never seen anythin like it. The fabrics on each of the curtains had been stitched together where you could see the seem as if 2 seperate curtains had been stitched together of different lengths . Both curtains were different lengths and not only that the curtains were not level i would say at least a 10cm difference between the shortest and longest part of the curtains. Never in my life have i bought unlevel curtains. Cannot believe they could have the audacity to send the curtains to me.To sell products of this quality im sorry but they should not be trading.

My experience at Chiltern mills very poor I wish I had looked at reviews before ordering a table and chairs from them .I ordered my furniture in November 2017 5weeks later I went into the store to enquire when it would arrive they couldn't find my order and told me they would ring me next day and inform me . Receive d a phone call next day and was just told I wouldn't get it until after Christmas .I received furniture today 26/1/18 .I had to ring them regards delivery they expect you to stay in all day which is unacceptable .I wanted to cancel my order they put on the manager who told me I couldn't cancel customer service terrible they treat the customer as a nuisance .

Good place to buy stuff for your house, they have a good range of curtains and bedding, however the lady who was working on the curtain section of the store who's name is Avis is rude, has a bad attitude no customer service skills at all, muttering under her breath and back chatting to customers. I complained about her to the team leader, and she was just as bad as her colleague. No simple apology given, no complaints procedure in place. Not all of the staff are rude. Adam who works on the blinds department was absolutely fantastic so polite and very helpful.

Blimey, the whingers on here! Quick to jump on the band wagon but can't appreciate a little family run company and the bloody lengths they go to, to HELP YOU out! Honestly, customers these days know nothing about retail life and the fact that your futile complaints genuinely affect them guys at home and on their days off! Where's the praise? I'll tell you where it is, its dying a death!
They're not perfect, thats fair, but do they bend over backwards for you? Yes they do. Do they want to make you happy? Of course! Do they need your petty critique? NO! Nobody does!
What is wrong with the world is lack of appreciation, understanding that these are real people and that they DO want the same outcome as you, otherwise they're all unemployed and business closes! And you know what..... it's always the wealthiest that belittle others, the more modest customer are the ones who would love to be able to afford the things you're clearly taking for granted.

Thank You to all at Chiltern Mills, you doing just fine. Don't let the minority represent the majority.

I would like give zero stars for the appalling customer service that I received at the Crossgates branch. I went in to purchase an ottoman base and mattress and a tub chair. I looked at beds 1st however the bases had no prices so I asked how much they were. I was told & I began to look at mattresses, as most people I have a budget so was trying to work out the cost including the £25 for the bed to be assembled. For some reason the male sales assistant commented that "he bet I drove a fast car", I was flummoxed, I have no idea what my car had to do with buying a bed. A female assistant then came over & commented people spend thousands on a sofa as it's seen but hold back on buying a bed, they already knew I had a budget. At this point I walked out of the store, being on a budget should not be a reason to ridicule and humiliate customers. Upon returning home I put a complaint into the store & spoke with Lyndsay, she was to ring me back, 5 days later & I'm still waiting for a call!

I know it's old-fashioned but I do like starched cotton sheets to keep me cool in the summer.
