Absolutley appaling customer service. Ordered on line curtains take take money, then no communication at all, phone on-line order customer number (5) times midweek, left two messages, not one reply and nevver answered phone. Goods did not arrive, thn founf out they had NO stock.
Phoned store Cross Gates Leeds on Sat, told by store manager nobody in on -line orders today, then a bucket load of excuses as to why no call back or updates. Asked for name/s of more senior manger director, told she was the only boss??? Also she would not disclose the name of a senior manager, I wonder why? Avoid at all costs, Dunelm in Leeds are fantastic and super service.

If you could put a minus we certainly would four sets of curtains for one room all supposed to be 90" only two were 90t the others 72" but labelled 90 ? And then to be told there can be a slight difference !!! Rubbish. And they won't exchange them as we happened to order them before our holiday where they arrived late whilst we were away and as the packaging was checked and it said 90" on each you wouldn't expect an 18" difference Size matters especially when your dealing with uninterested members !!!

Visited Leeds Crossgates store today was given excellent customer service by staff Julie M. who went above and beyond aiding me with everything I needed; with a smile all well through. Thank you Julie I would certainly visit store again because of you. Hope Chiltern Mills gives you your well deserved recognition. An sure asset!

First time i have used this company and wouldnt hesitate to use again. Product was as expected and delivered quickly. Didnt receive delivery date email but called them on number provided, answered by lovely lady who quickly informed me of situation and when delivery would be. Very pleased. Would reccomend to others.

Curtains look nice but they are not as thick material as I was expecting.

I had one paid shortened and this was very satisfactory.

I ordered curtains 5 weeks ago I still haven't got them they were sent for alteration 2 weeks ago I was twice promised they would be on the next return delivery van of course they weren't now I've been told the next van will contain my elusive curtains as I'm now approaching 70 years of age I've bequeathed them to my daughter just in case I don't live long enough to collect them, never again

I bought a few net curtains that were different from how they looked online.
I have tried to contact chiltern mills on several occasions to setup a return. No one has bothered to reply to my emails and according to their answer machine none is ever available to talk to you. So im stuck with 56.53 pounds worth of curtains I'll never be using. Worst customer service ever. Will never be purchasing from here again. Absoultely and utterly disappointed as I expected better.

I bought several towels one of which had a slight defect. The grand total of that towel being £2.99. I took it back and was told that it had been caused by bleach and it was my fault. I know this was not the case as it was only 1 week old and washed with the others prior to use. But having spent over £1000 in the last year there ( I have 3 properties - Guest houses) and guess who wont be going back.
The poor customer service they give has cost them an awful lot of money. Dont go buying anything from these shops if you want customer satisfaction. I would not give it any stars if I could.

On the 9th October this year, Chiltern Mills measured up blinds, for a door and kitchen window. I paid £199, and as yet I am still waiting the blinds, three phone calls, and no response. A warning people, do not deal with them.

The curtains I bought from them looked nothing like they did on the website so I've had to pay to have them delivered in the first place and then again to return them. They're now demanding I either pay for or return, at my own cost, the FREE shower curtain they sent me that I never asked for. I'm still waiting for my refund weeks after I returned the curtains.

Having driven past this store many times I decided to take a look in one day and wished I'd done so before. It was an Aladdin's cave of bargains and deals and I ended up buying a whole trolley full of items. The prices were really low but the quality of the products was really high, I've since ordered more things from their website and they were delivered really quickly. Can't recommend highly enough! Thank you.
