arrived on time, well packaged

I bought some bedroom furniture online from Chiltern Oak Furniture.
I did not receive any email or phone message information about delivery at all.
Then on monday morning the week after ordering, at 8am just 5 minutes before I was due to leave the house for the day, a delivery van pulled up outside with my furniture.
Despite me being disabled, the two men insisted they could not take the furniture upstairs and left it in my hallway in large boxes.
Happily I found some friends to help me get the furniture upstairs and assemble from being flat packed.
Chiltern Oak Furniture claim that the delivery company had communicated with me, but I received nothing from them, and it was very lucky that I was in when they arrived unexpectedly.

Had been looking at furniture online and came across Chiltern Oak by chance! I ordered a tv unit and 2 sets of nests of tables and we are really pleased with our purchases!! They are well made and were excellent value. All came beautifully packaged with no problems. If we were to make any comment about service it is that delivery could have been better communicated. We placed the order and heard nothing more until received a text with delivery for that day - fortunately it wasn’t a problem and then for some reason the 2 nests of tables came in the morning and the tv unit in the afternoon.

I ordered 3 pieces of the Gloucester range they were very reasonable price and I wondered if they would be of good quality, to my delight they were exquisite, Really excellent quality.
They came within 3 days of ordering on the 2nd week of December so this also surprised me how quick they came. On opening them up they were extremely well packed. There wasn’t a mark dent or crack in them which I can’t say for other company’s I’ve ordered furniture from. You might think on reading this it’s to good to be true but please believe me don’t hesitate in buying because you will love your new furniture as I love mine.
The small sideboard was out of stock when I first tried to order so I email the company and asked them to let me know when stocks were back in. I only had to wait 2 weeks or less. I was so glad I waited. I just can’t praise this company enough and will defiantly be ordering from them again. thank you.

Hi, I am recent buyer of Bed frame from Chiltern Oak Furniture. Very poor communication. I ordered bed frame which is available on Site and did full payment.

After 4 or 5 days, one of the person from Chiltern Oak Furniture came back and written mail that ordered item is not available and requested to choose any other.
We thought it might be genuine reason, so we selected new one and replied. Again we got reply saying the first ordered item is available. We confirmed for delivery.

Now we are waiting for delivery to be happen. No communication when they will deliver and received message saying the item is with delivery team. But no contact is given or no one contacted us.

One day we got message saying so and so date and time the item will deliver so we confirmed time again.
We were waiting whole day for the delivery but not received and not updated us why it was not delivered.

Still we are waiting, no update from Chiltern Oak Furniture or delivery team.

Please take care while buying may be items and offers might tempt to buy but rest is worst experience.

We missed other offer because we placed order here and ended up not receiving item yet.

Very poor quality product, and customer service just shrugged me off when I reached out to them.

I bought a dressing table, and its surface gets marked with ANY beauty product touching it. When trying to clean it off the surface changed colour to an ugly green. Such an unforgiving and poor quality painted surface for a dressing table, which is intended to have products on it. But I guess I got what I paid for!!! 160£ for a dressing table that I need to replace sooner than I had hoped for.

On the plus side the dressing table arrived on time and it matched the pictures on the website. Hence the two stars.

Good looking, well made products, (wine cabinet and coffee table, used as tv unit). Solid, well finished, arrived fully assembled, quickly-delivered.

I have just bought 4 items from the Florence range , two of which were damaged, first item was a slight crack to the back of a set of draws , offered a replacement or discount which was fine . Then after being assured that the final set of draws that I had to wait weeks for would be QC checked arrived with lots of rough patches.. I was very stressed and had just moved house so the disruption was not good , agin offered a replacement or discount, I told them that I was not happy and after going from 10% to 25% off they continued to tell me that even though the roughness was not nice it did not affect the functionality !!!!!!! Unbelievable .

After being told my mirror will be delivered yesterday between 8.00-10.00
Sadly after staying in all day it failed to arrive… I rang and asked what happened this morning was told would find out what went wrong and get back to me .. again I rang 4 hrs later to see what went wrong.. was told going to reorder and reschedule another delivery… not a happy customer!!! What went wrong???

Swift and efficient handling of our order. The furniture was well protected for transit and arrived in excellent condition. Very good quality construction with an attractive finish.

Very happy with my furniture delivery. Well worth paying for the White Glove Delivery package. Alex delivered 5 items to my chosen room in a first floor flat, assembled them in no time and took away all the packaging. Thank you Alex (you were great) and Chiltern Oak Furniture. I will definitely be ordering more items from you in future.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the furniture, quite light and flimsy compared to the bedroom furniture I purchased from the Cotswold company for another bedroom. Also the catches on both the wardrobe doors keep pinging open so will have to be replaced with more robust catches. I decided to buy the matching bedside tables after purchasing the wardrobes only to be told they have been discontinued!

Furniture arrived quickly but it had a massive crack in it and was a completely different colour to website image. It was cheap furniture imported from Vietnam and had not been checked. Asked for refund and to return. Customer services agreed but the collection has not happened. They use TDS who have come on days I have asked them not to, and do not arrive on days they scheduled. I have had a huge piece of useless furniture taking up space for weeks now and I just want it removed so I can buy another elsewhere.

All the furniture was lovely it arrived very well packed so no damage , all the ordering was easy and they kept in touch would recommend the furniture and the company.

High quality furniture. Accurate description of goods on the website. Pictures, diagrams & dimensions are extremely helpful.
