Dog Unfriendly

We are walking the great glen way from fort William to Inverness. Walked 12 miles and wanted to catch at bus from Lagan locks to invergarry to our hotel with our small dog.
Tried to board the bus but was turned away by the lady driver as we did not have a holdall for the dog.I offered to wrap the coat around the dog but driver said this was not acceptable
Who would walk the great glen way carrying a rucksack and a “dog holdall” .
Was forced to walk another 5 miles to invergarry
I am not surprised that the bus was half empty. Don’t understand why they are not dog friendly, but a warning for any dog owners who want to use this service in Scottish highlands ,Don’t.

Have a word with the drivers about basic manners

Today (the 26th of August) we boarded the 914 1pm bus from Fort William to Glasgow.
We had a Tesco bag containing some drinks and some crisps yet the jobsworth of a driver said we could not bring these crisps on board which I believe is incorrect as it states on their website “no hot food?” Hot food not being allowed on is obvious but the crisps should have been allowed.

My wife was feeling extremely unwell and would have liked to have some polo mints or something as the weather is extremely hot. Regardless of this, it was the ignorant tone he used which I am complaining about.
He made what I’m sure in his mind was a smart comment about a restaurant or something. To top this off a couple of ladies got on later and had snacks with them which they ate on the bus.
He also made everyone ten minutes late by stopping at Glencoe for a cigarette.

I realise there isn’t much to do not do I expect that about that but a word in his ear about common manners wouldn’t do him any harm.

Everything was very good from Derry to Glasgow especially on the return journey from Glasgow the driver George on the 923 date 25/07/21 at 12:20 was extremely friendly and amusing coach driver making jokes about masks and talking to us explain the journey and how the ac would come on when we were moving the only problem I had with the coach was no chargers small buses such as McGill’s have chargers for 10 minute journeys but city link don’t for a 2 hour drive but other than that everything great

Women coach driver feels the need to scream at us for no reason whatsoever.

Me and my partner have travelled 6 hours and 50 minutes on a city link coach today, from Glasgow to the isle of skye, the first half of the journey was ok apart from the coach driver bither putting a mask on whatsoever, when we arrived in fort william the drivers changed over and we had a 30 minute break/wait to set back of while the drivers changed over. The reason i am leaving a bad review today is because me and my partner are absolutly disgusted by the way the second women driver stood and had a go at us like we where school children, all because we had a bag of food shopping from morrisons wich we purchased during the 30 minute wait, i myself have a very high customer service based job role in hospitality and would never ever dream of screaming at my customers for anything let alone because they had a bag of food?! I think the women thought we would be eating on the coach, wich we said we were not as this journey is actually moving for seasonal work. But after telling her we wouldnt be esting it is shoppinf for when we arrive at our destination she still felt the need to scream at us for nothing infront of the rest of the customers/passengers on the coach then delayed setting of for a further 10 minutes as she felt the need to go on and bad mouth us to anothed customer/passanger. Absolutly disgusting service and i will not be using city link again.

Honestly I used to like traveling with citylink, but now with Covid restrictions the drivers seem to have become absolutely rude and guess they just accuse everyone of traveling around for pleasure, when in fact most of the people taking a bus are commuting to work. If I wouldn't have to work, I'd not use this service anymore. Drivers are the first person you see when entering the bus and they should make you feel welcome. Greeted the bus driver today with a friendly good morning for him to just ignore me, stare at my ticket, reach over and touch my phone (guess covid is not an issue here...) and then just turn away from me... So thanks, am I allowed to go and sit down or stand outside in the freezing cold?! No communication whatsoever and ******* rude. On top of that the bus was also delayed by 25 minutes.

First time using and never again

First time using and never again! Arrived 1 min before bus was due to depart but driver would not let me and my daughter on and we should have been there 10 mins before for safety briefings and luggage checks! I called ahead but they said they could not do anything.

The gentleman on the stand - Jim was one of the most impolite, rude people I have encountered. Went to customer services and they said we had to pay nearly £60 for 2 other single tickets and when we got on the bus there was nothing Gold about it - a normal bus with no snacks, no leather seats, no charging points and no hostess. So what were we paying for??

No one was helpful, all incredibly rude and no effort at customer service. On top of this, there were NO safety briefings or luggage checks and misinformation when we called. Never again. Citylink I Hope you have the decency to respond.

Just wanted to say that Sam, the driver was a hoot.
He had the whole bus in stitches and made it a very enjoyable journey.

Very good customer service

Res No - 4/5-9887-140219-CMPT-1034-STP-HUL This is for the Megabus staff, my first trip with this company and the staff I'm sorry I didn't catch their names, a nice lady and gentleman) and drivers were exceptional, my travel plans were late all over so I missed the megabus connections and the staff I spoke to over the telephone were excellent, they took control of the situation and made sure I could still get to my destination and gave me other connections, even the bus drivers were looking out for us. I was very unsure on what to do but they just took all the pressure and I could breathe again, I can't thank them enough and I'll definitely be using them again and telling everyone how impressed I was and they should give some training and tips to the retail staff in John Lewis (very poor customer service) well done to the leisure sector!

Atrocious service

Atrocious service. Poorly maintained buses, not punctual and unprofessional drivers. Uses Glasgow-Edinburgh 900 bus service daily to commute to work. You are lucky if the driver decide to turn the heating on despite the freezing conditions outside. Most of the time the heating is broken. Drivers more interested in chatting with other drivers and colleagues at bus station despite queue of people waiting to board the bus. And once everyone has boarded, the bus is already late by 5 mins and then the M8 traffic.
One thing they are good at is increasing prices. They always say they are improving the services as well when they increase prices. After using their services almost daily for the past 3 years I am still havnt seem any improvement in their services.
I would advice to use train. Yes, train is expensive but atleast you wouldn’t freeze to death.

AVOID THE CRUEL COMPANY

Basically their driver just left me and boyfriend in lakeside to death one year ago. He was late about half hour and decided not to stop even he saw us. That was the last bus at that day. There was no signal between mountains. And there is no apologise or compensation from their customer service.
