Our first ever trip in a campervan and we are hooked! Service from Becca at Classic Camper Holidays was excellent from start to finish. The van was spotless. Everything was explained to us and we had the most incredible staycation exploring Scotland. We went totally off grid and there were no issues with anything. We loved that we could just park Harris in a regular car parking space when we were out and about. He was really easy to drive and really comfortable to travel and sleep in. Couldn’t recommend the experience and classic camper holidays more highly.

Classic Camper Holidays were a joy to work with. The VW camper van was perfect and had everything I needed for my holiday. When I wanted to change my return date Becca was flexible and took care of my request without any bother. I recommend Classic Camper Holidays to anyone who loves camping but is ready to get out of the tent and into a bit more comfort!

Superb campervan hire experience. Professionally run by the owners Becca and Stewart who were able to accommodate my needs. Becca was lovely and friendly making the booking process easy and there to help at every stage. Stewart was also very friendly and excellent at demonstrating and explaining everything I would be operating in the van which really helped to instil confidence!
The campervan itself had absolutely everything and more you could need for a campervan trip and there are options during the booking process if you want to just turn up with your clothes!
The diesel heater in this van was amazing, uses little fuel and is very efficient, something very special about camping this time of the year when you're lovely and warm inside!
I won't go through all the features of the van or I'll write so much but it is a stunning machine, in superb condition (and spotless inside which is important to me) great to drive and a very comfortable camper indeed.
Harris, I miss you already (especially cooking in you as it's easier than in my kitchen!) Becca and Stewart, thanks for making sure my trip was great, I really felt looked after.

Four of us (2 x adults, 2 x 17 year olds) hired Harris for a 4 day break in late October/November 2019. Harris is obviously brand new and is in tip-top condition. We had a thorough briefing on the operation of the roof, habitation and bike rakes (4 adult size bikes) before we got going and plenty of useful info by e-mail beforehand. We took a great deal of care driving Harris as "he" is over 5m with the bike racks in use but actually the driving experience is excellent, quite car-like, powerful and smooth. Parking especially needs care as the bike racks do make standard car park spaces tight. Our twin 17 year old shared the (v. cool, electrically-operated) pop up and were very comfortable (sub-zero outside, heating is very good). Mum and Dad converted the main cabin seats into a decent double and that and the cooking/seating area are very well designed and interconvert easily. Use of the bike racks means that you do need to plan your packing as the lower boot space is inaccessible with the bikes loaded. After our first night we reorganised to make it easier. We are used to very small tent camping with just the essentials but it is best to be very strict on your packing, especially if 4 of your are hiring. We had a great time in Harris, visiting the Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel, Glasgow, Great Cumbrae and Culzean. Thanks to Becca and Ian who were helpful and very professional. We would be pleased to hire from them again and recommend Classic Campers unreservedly.

Great campervan. A very smooth process of booking, renting, deposit, pick-up, return etc. We had a minor technical issue which was resolved painlessly by Classic Camper Holiday while we were on Isle of Skye.

Great trip up North with Heather camper van - well admired wherever she went - all good and comfortable - would recommend.

This is the 2nd time we have booked through classic campers, both times went to Glastonbury Festival, great vans, new, very clean with plenty extras eg pot, pans, cups, player and cutlery etc, they have though if everything, although we didn’t have use of a hook up would be excellent if on campsite. Very reasonable priced and Becca very pleasant and helpful, would definitely recommend booking.

A wonderful campervan hire company based in Hawick. It couldn't have been easier to book and the briefing on the van itself was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely loved the experience of renting “Heather”. Service from Becca was great, all was explained well and full demonstration of the van. The booking process was easy and swift. The deposit is a lot of money so would be a struggle for those without a credit card but it is an understandable considering the vehicle your renting.
The van was fully equipped with all necessities and is in great condition. Overall I’m really impressed with the service and the van. Can’t wait to take “Heather” out again.
