Not a company I would use again.

Not a company I would use again.
Booked to leave car at Gatwick at least a week before travelling, was sent an email giving information on where to park car on day of departure. Before getting to the airport, called the mobile number that was provided, no information was given to say that the parking details had all changed and it now has to be parked at a completely different terminal which meant that we had to drive to the other terminal after waiting for them for a long time at the car park that was noted on the email.
When we arrived at the the second terminal to park car, we had to pay a £4 exit fee for driver to take car away.
There was no apology for all the inconvenience for not providing the correct information of where to park car on arrival.
On return, we called the number to let them know of our arrival, the person on the other side said that the car was already there waiting for us. We arrived at the parking terminal and ended up waiting for another 45 minutes. The driver arrived after at least 4 further calls, when he arrived, he just got out of the car and whizzed off not saying anything at all, not even a hello, let alone an apology for being late.
When we inspected the car, the car had some scratches and was very muddy.
We called the Mobile number to let them know but the guy said to call the head office as he is too busy.
Again we ended up paying a further £4 exit fee bringing total of exit fees to £8 which is not mentioned on the website.
This is not a company I would recommend at all.
The drivers are arrogant and have no manners at all not to mention how disorganised they are.
I would rather pay a few pounds more to another company which we ended up doing anyway by paying an extra £8 exit fee when it mentioned only £4.

Weird experience but to provide some solace...

I booked my parking at Stansted in a rush and used this website. My experience was rather weird - handing over keys without any sort of receipt and then on return, the guy literally jumped out of the driver's seat, said "keys are in the car" and ran off. Car seems OK though, a tiny bit muddy and petrol maybe a bit low - I suspect they park it under a tree quite a long way away.

It was quite cheap and they did show up on time both on departure and arrival but I definitely won't use again as I'd been worrying about this throughout my holiday. If you're reading this *after* booking / dropping car off like I did - try not to worry as it will hopefully be OK.

Do not use

Used meet and greet, all seemed very dodgy from drop off, arrived back to find scratches on car.

Contacted website, no ability to leave a review, customer service chat didn't write in very good English, and just asked me to send an email to a info account.

Don't let them trash your car

We booked valet car parking at Bristol Airport for a week long holiday from 15 - 22 August through a website parking4you, they provided a link to a company called Nationwide Airport Parking Ltd who sent us details of what we needed to do on arrival at the airport.

We had to drop the car off in the short stay carpark and pay for that ourselves in addition to the amount we had paid for the week. We were met be a man who refused to show us any ID but had our booking confirmation, as it seemed slightly suspicious I took a photo of our dashboard showing mileage and fuel levels.

When we returned our car took ages to be brought back and when it did we were horrified, it had been trashed. There was mud everywhere - inside both front passenger and driver footwells and the back seats, and the wheels were caked in mud. The tyres had just been replaced the week before, and there was gentle rain when we dropped the car off so we know that the car wheels were clean and there was certainly no mud inside the car. One of the drivers left their empty drink can inside the car, and to make matters worse 71 miles had been added to the car's mileage and a quarter of a tank of fuel had been used.

Again the returning driver refused to give any id, and got very upset when I took photos of him. I suspect that this is a racket, would be amazed if drivers were insured, and hate to think what my car was used for in the time we were away. It is even worse to think that there were multiple people in our car during the COVID-19 crisis.

We have complained to both companies and had nothing but automated responses. Having looked up the directors of Travel Extra Deals Ltd which owns Parking4you (Rakesh Kumar) and Nationwide Airport Parking Ltd (Jamil Ahmed Umar Akther) on Companies House both seem to have created and dissolved various businesses to cover their tracks and they frequently change the names of the businesses - presumably because the feedback they receive is so bad.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They charge you additional £4 car park fees that you have to pay on drop off and pick up. The phone operator lies to you about where your car is. They show complete disregard for usual business standards. Myself and at least three other groups had the same experience today at Gatwick. It was 1 hour 15 minutes from calling to having the car, despite being told the driver was five minutes away after 30 minutes. It turns out the driver that ended up dropping my car off was actually at the airport dropping another car off when mine was "five minutes away" DO NOT USE THEM

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Booked parking at Bristol airport, called 20mins before arrival at 4. Sat in the arranged spot for 10 minutes, tried ringing their number and presto it no longer worked.
Had to put the car in long stay at full price. At least we could. Now just to get our £70 back - hopefully through the bank.

RE: Heathrow Platinum Parking

RE: Heathrow Platinum Parking

Nothing 'Platinum' about this service - DO NOT USE!!

Had a similar experience to all the other reviews on here; late collection of the car although called 45mins ahead of arrival time - we were sat waiting for an additional 45mins! When they finally arrived, the guy was agressively telling me that he had been trying to call but my number was 'invalid'....he showed me the number on the screen and it was correct....my partner (standing next to us) then called my number and (unsurpsingly) successfuly got through. Clearly hadn't paid his phone bill and therefore was unable to make outgoing calls! Very stressful start to the holiday.

Ahead of our return to the UK, I emailed them with our amended flight details and specifically asked them to be on time. No response. Once arrived at Heathrow and collected our luggage, I called and they told me that they'll be waiting at the Drop-off point in 30mins......1 hour later and many calls with a response of "it's on it's way" "will be 5mins" "I don't know where it is, call back later" "I can't locate it" our car finally arrived. Yet another scruffy driver and was irritatingly shoving a piece of paper at me saying that we were too early and the car was parked in order of collection....clearly hadn't seen my email notifying them of the flight change of about 30mins, no earlier!

SHOCKING service from start to finish! Really wish I had read all other reviews before using, although looks like I was one of the lucky ones as there was no damage to the car or no parking fines through the post (not yet anyway!)

Appallingly bad service

Appallingly bad service! Avoid at all costs.

The full saga:

Having booked this service, we phoned the provider 30 mins before we were due to arrive at Heathrow, as requested. No one answered the phone. We phoned back a few minutes later, and were rudely told to drive not to Heathrow, but to an industrial estate in Uxbridge.
Reluctantly, we followed the instruction as it was not possible to book alternative parking at 5am in the morning. Upon arrival at a random yard in Uxbridge, nowhere near the airport, a man in a tracksuit emerge from a shed and opened a metal gate.

The gentleman who greeted us there was rude, swore at us, and seemed genuinely annoyed that we had arrived to park our car.

Remarkably, he shouted at us that he did not have any drivers available, and seemed to suggest that this was out fault. He said either we could ride in his car (a clapped out, heavily dented VW) to the airport, or we could simply abandon our car in the short stay carpark, with him claiming that at some point he would go and collect it. Despite being in the middle of the pandemic, this man wore no protective equipment, and wanted us to ride in his car.

In the end, I had to drive HIM to the airport, so that he could then drive my car back to the aforementioned estate in Uxbridge. Throughout he was rude, and said he was doing us a favour.

When we dropped the car off there was no inspection of the car, or other checks. He simple handed me a piece of paper with a number scrawled on it, and told us to phone him when we got back to Heathrow. This whole saga took over an hour, and very nearly resulted in us missing our flight.

On the way home, the shocking service was repeated. Despite my phoning them six hours in advance, as I suspected they would not meet us at the arranged time, given the shocking service on the way out, they still did not arrive at the correct time. Once again, they were rude over the phone, and suggested that I had made the booking for the wrong time, and that I had arrived early. The booking clearly stated 8pm, but amazingly they claimed we had booked it for 10pm, and tried to charge us an extra £10 at the airport to give us back our keys.

Moreover, they gave us back the car at the drop off zone, which clearly had signs all over the place saying ’no pick ups’, and advertising a fine for picking passengers up there.

Appalling

Appalling - they told me I would get a refund for my parking when I'd had to cancel due to the coronavirus outbreak, then failed to provide it. When I called back they said it was non-cancellable and refused to pay! It's only £50 so not worth spending too much time on, but I certainly won't be using the service again!

profiteering from coronavirus situation

I have had same situation as others have had with Compareparkingdeals/Parking4you . Initially emailed to cancel my booking due to all holidays been cancelled but never got any response so I emailed again asking when to expect my refund
This time i had a reply to say I had been refunded. When I asked what date they had refunded me they then a sent a receipt to show it had only just been refunded when I sent an email asking why had it only just been put through and why the full amount was not refunded they replied saying that as i cancelled they are keeping £16.95. I have emailed back to explain this is unfair and to ask for the remainder of my money
As others have explained its a Government enforced cancellation- I've had no reply as yet and I don't expect one either!. I too will escalate matters as others have to coronavirus-business-complaint.service.gov.uk which is a government website to complain about a business that is profiteering from the coronavirus and I will also follow this up with an email to Sussex Trading Standards, and to the Meet and Greet parking association
I would advise anyone else in this situation to complain too so cowboys like this can be stopped

credit where its due

I wrote a review recently about poor customer service following many attempts to get in touch with the company following cancellation of our flight. Whilst frustrating that three emails, live chat, telephone attempts and a letter did not get a reply; eventually the manager did phone me and apologised. He reported that he had tried to E mail me but they had bounced back, Why this should be I don't know my E mails have been fine. Anyway credit where its due, he responded and gave me a credit note for my cancelled parking which was fine given my booking was non flexible and in recognition of the pandemic circumstances. So I felt that the company had redeemed its self

government link to complain about Gatwick parking company profiteering from coronavirus situation.

I have had same situation with Raj at Compareparkingdeals/Parking4you . Initially responded to my request for full refund and he replied saying that as i cancelled they are keeping £17. I explained that it is a Government enforced cancellation - no reply for the last 36 hours to emails. I have given them fair warning that i will escalate matters. My first point of contact is .coronavirus-business-complaint.service.gov.uk which is a government website link to complain about a business that is profiteering from the coronavirus situation - of which this company falls into. My next contact will be Sussex Trading Standards, and then the Gatwick Parking Association, then the MGPA (Meet and Greet parking association). Complaints upheld against this company will lead to restrictions and possible ban from meet and greeting. Time to take the challenge up if anyone wants to do same action.

Think twice about using Compare Parking Deals website

Do not use this website to find meet and greet airport parking companies! It all seems really confusing when the company we booked through this website, called Citi Park Meet & Greet for Gatwick arrived to pick our car, gave us a receipt which said it was GB Parks Meet and Greet ( when we thought we had booked Citi Park), and the contact phone number on it and the web page details on the information about dropping and picking cars are for a different company altogether: Holiday Meet and Greet, phone number 0333 7721063.
On our arrival at Gatwick we called this phone number and were told due to Corovirus they had to change things, instead of delivering our car back to the airport carpark, they said they will have to send a taxi to pick us all up and take us to where the car was parked. A man arrived, it was not a taxi, and took us all to a remote place where our car was parked. The state of our car was shocking, it was covered in mud and was absolutely filthy! It looked like it had been driven in a very muddy field. On top of that we had to pay the man £20, and were told we will get a refund back for this. I contacted the telephone number given as above and was told that they could not do anything about the refund as the company we booked with was not available that day and that they were only the middleman who the Meet and Greet companies went through them, All very confusing and Annoying! We still have not received our refund. Just would like to advise everyone not to use any of the companies mentioned here as they all seem very dodgy.

Taking advantage during Covid19 outbreak

Obviously in this time of having all flights cancelled I asked for a refund and I spoke to Raj.
My full payment was £48.94 and they refunded £30.99!!
When I asked Raj about this he started shouting and screaming at me. Then he said we will take the remainder of what they owe me and take it off my next booking.
I really do not appreciate being spoken to like I’m causing a company problems when I am due a full refund regardless.
I recommend using a company called Resolved complaints and they will help get my money back in full.
It is sad that in what is happening around the world that this silly pathetic excuse for customer service has a major attitude problem.

Cancelled my booking due to Coronavirus…

Cancelled my booking due to Coronavirus as there were no flights to my destination.
They charged me £16.95 cancellation fee.
Absolutely disgusting that they are charging cancellation fees in these exceptional circumstances.
If it was my choice not to go on holiday then I would understand them charging a cancellation fee but
the fact is there are no flights so I cannot go.
I will not be using this company again and I would advise that no-one else does either.
It doesn't sound on previous reviews that they are any good at what they are supposed to do anyway.........!!!

I fly fairly frequently and always use…

I fly fairly frequently and always use compare parking deals, regardless of airport.

I always have a little look to see if their prices can be beaten, and so far, it's not been done!

Service is speedy, the drivers are lovely and friendly, and I wouldn't use anyone else.

Avoid this company!

Avoid this company!
They were late to collect at the start of my journey making me late for my check in. Then on return it took 4 hours and a visit from the police to get my car back because they are in dispute with their drivers who thought that stealing my car would get them their owed wages back! Bloody shambles. I got a refund but I’ve learned a lesson- I’ll only use official parking from now on.
