Good customer service and prompt action
I would like to put up a positive review for purchase under courts online last month I bought 2 items online however courts was unable to deliver in time and customer service was quick to act to perform a refund for me. I was initially skeptical about the purchase done however customer service Jap and Patrick was very kind and prompt in the process. Thumbs up for the good customer service.
Courts is the worse company i have…
Courts is the worse company i have dealt with. I bought a Toshiba washing machine and it didn't work right after courts installed it. I was very difficult to get courts to come and replace the washer. They blamed Midea the manufacturer of the machine. After many promises to replace the machine, now they say they need a report from midea to certify that the machine is spoilt. There is an error code showing on the machine and courts is still insisting midea must certify the machine is spoilt. I paid $50 for same day installation and after 10 days, Courts is still messing around and not wanting to deliver a working machine to me
📍I WILL NEVER BUY FROM COURTS…
📍I WILL NEVER BUY FROM COURTS AGAIN!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Purchased a Samsung washer from them with extended warranty. Just two months into the extended warranty the Samsung washer breaks down. Courts outsources the repairs to the most useless company you can imagine but eventually machine was fixed after the technician stopped by three times. All good till four months later and machine breaks down again. This time they had to pick up the machine and after 5 WEEKS they finally bring it back after repair. Immediately after this we use the machine and we hear a strange rattling noise in the drum. Next day they pick up the machine for repair again. COURTS CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN USELESS. No proper phone number to call, emails to customer service bounce and they don’t reply to the initial emails. So we have a washing machine which has been repaired FOUR TIMES now within a few months and COURTS will no nothing in spite of the extra warranty we purchased! Horrendous company, once they have your money you are on your own. They’re such a bunch of scammers really. BUY AT BEST DENKI INSTEAD, be warned!!!!!
Extended Warranty Issues
Extended Warranty Issues
Samsung 65 Inch Ultra HD 4K Smart TV
SO: 867632950240
First issue: Courts does not properly archive my previous purchases and have proper migration of data to their new system. There are multiple accounts under my name and my big purchases were not captured under my info as apparently the staff miswrote my number as a mixture of data *mobile number+residential address*. I do not think that Courts has rectify this issue as it still not traceable using just my mobile number. The staffs are not trained to retrieve information when such data format is not standardised. Due to this, I had to retrace my purchases information which the staffs recommended that I look through my credit card history from 2019 to provide date of purchase and amount which is impossible as I split the payment between cash and credit card. Fortunately, I managed to retrieve the information from court's delivery SMS from 2019 which included the SO number. If I hadn't kept that info, they can't help me at all. This is unacceptable as Courts guaranteed past purchases data are retrievable.
Second issue: I contacted Courts on 28/03/23 with all the information in hand. I had previously purchase 2 of the same TV but different invoice, different delivery address, different date of purchase, different serial numbers. One of which was repaired in February 2023 (SO:867632469790). Then the other one spoilt in March 2023, and required an LED replacement (SO: 867632950240). I've assisted in all manners, providing videos and pictures, serial number, explained the 2 different purchases, given both invoice number but they still mixed up the information. Courts should provide me a case-number upon each issue raised so that they can trace which case I'm referring to. The staffs will always revert to explaining that I have repaired my TV in February and I had to repeat myself that there are 2 different TVs of exactly the same model. 2 similar but different cases. When they agreed to repair on 03/04/2023, no one came. When I contacted the hotline, they did not return my call even after a day. I had to WhatsApp one of the staffs whom I had previously given the videos to, and they say pending AIG check on my warranty. That is absurd if previously it was already confirmed for a repair service and now revert to still pending for checks. Today I called in again to ask the status but Courts hotline asked me to personally call extended warranty hotline instead of connecting me through. Again I have to reexplain. It's been a week since my initial call and this matter remains unresolved. This is beyond comprehension how inefficient the team's communication is.
Thank you feedback
I would like to express my sincere thanks to staff Mr Tony Quek Beng Leong from Tampines Courts for his prompt service even assisting after sales requirement. Good staff indeed.
Inconveniences
Delivery dates was postponed too many times. Reason, stock havent arrived. How long you need for the stock to move in SG? If this is local product, SG is too small for me to wait for more than 2weeks. Customer service, Hannah, is no help at all. Everything also dont know. She say she will ask delivery team to email me but nothing. If I want the same information as per track my parcel from her, I wouldnt have called CS. No one called prior to delivery. No updates at all. Deal at your own risk if you can wait. If can't, better use best denki or harvey norman.
Delivery Experience is Terrible
I have ordered online a couple of times from them and each time is a terrible experience. Delivery dates provided at time of purchase are wildly inaccurate. None of the items I have ordered was even assigned a delivery date without me having to reach out to customer support (usually weeks after the order was placed). Delivery dates may be pushed with little notice. My most recent situation involves them denying that I ordered a product when I have an ordering document and a delivery confirmation from them that specifically includes the item. Talking to customer support is maddening. Maybe in-store experience is better, but for online shopping I would recommend anywhere else.

I bought a shortage water heater online but the installer, Song Kwang electric service is extremely terrible. By now, I still dont know when the investigation and installation date.
The colleague is called Jolin in Song Kwang. She is unprofessional, rough and irresponsible. She keeps delaying my installation requests & questions and never reply my text nor calls. She tells me she is nothing to help but ask me to chase Courts. Her job is coordinating the installation but why need me to coordinate on behave of her? She also keep me waiting but without any update unless I call her by myself.
I strongly recommended Courts should terminate the contract with Song Kwang. Because without the installation, the electric is just a decorations. Customers and me won't buy a 400+ useless decoration and terrible experience.
My customer feedback for your sales staff
My customer feedback for your sales staff, Mr. Johnny (electrical vacuum product section), from the Tampines Courts Megastore.
We (my wife and I) went there this afternoon, to purchase the said item from the store.
1. He was courteous, polite, friendly and (most importance) patience with all our queries.
2. He was able to demo the various models that we were interested in, convincing and with enthusiasm.
3. He was knowledgeable in his products.
4. And he makes good recommendation based on my wife's requirements.
5. He makes the entire transaction, a very pleasant experience.
6. He was smiling though out our entire interaction. :-)

Vincent Lee

Horrible
Horrible, unprofessional, non-responsive customer service and after care service. DO NOT BUY FROM COURTS. There are better megastores out there selling the same items, with much better customer service!!!
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Delivery was done by external contractors, not from courts. Messed up my kitchen during delivery of washing machine I purchased. Wet and dirty my kitchen floor. Drag the machine on the floor and doesn’t seem trained to assembled the hose. Complained about the old washing machine was heavy. Am I supposed to help to carry? Was told to use back old hose instead of the new hose. Reason being, it can still be used. More like save the trouble. Why use the old one which is more than 10 yrs? The guy took out a driver and unwilling took out the old one and told me cannot assemble because different size? Ask me to decide if want to put back old one. Climb over my kitchen sink to get out after he cornered himself after putting in the washing machine at the corner area with his colleague? Used my kitchen sink to wash his hand without asking permission and allow the dirty water to flow onto my bowls and plates left in sink . Left the kitchen dirty and wet and even questioned me why I need to take pics? I felt threatened almost like he wanted to take my mobile and delete the pics I took. Contractor stuck the driver dangerously behind his back pocket and almost hit the kitchen tiles after he cornered himself and while climbing over my kitchen sink.
Customer service personnel kept on…
Customer service personnel kept on misreading my date and scheduling the date to the wrong one....twice. No replies to my request via email. Had to chase them again and again from the homepage. Delays in delivery. Sent wrong payment link. Customer service AGAIN scheduled wrong time after my request.
Moral of the story: DO NOT BUY FROM COURTS ONLINE!!!
I ordered a gaming console and was…
I ordered a gaming console and was promised 3-5 working days delivery but it has been more than 5 working days. Callled and used the chat functions and kept telling me just wait 🤷🏻♀️. Cannot give me a definite answer when will the delivery and even shift blame to the online team and seller of the console 🤷🏻♀️. What’s the matter with courts sg???
Never again
I ordered a vacuum for over $1400 that was meant to be delivered within 12 days. They emailed to say it would take longer, they then missed the new date and pushed it out to over 6 weeks. Customer service is not helpful. I eventually cancelled the order and requested a refund, who knows how long that will take? I would not recommend them.
Online Order Delivery
This review is only for the online order delivery.
06/12: Placed order. System showed delivery date 12/12 (to be delivered within 3 days).
15/12: The order status changed to 'delivery failure'. I did not receive any SMS/call/'not in' note from the courier. Likely the courier did not even attempt to deliver and leave a note.
16/12: Called courts for rescheduling, was told that I will receive a call within 3 days.
Disappointing delivery service, low responsiveness.
Probably the worst online order experience I have ever had. This is a local order, yet it could take more than 3 weeks to reach me. Courts does not seem to care about the customer experience once the payment has been made.
Update:
Originally 1 star, updated to 4 stars.
19/12: Delivery was automatically rescheduled to 20/12, 3PM-7PM. An email notification was sent to me.
20/12: Courier informed in advance and delivered at 2:45PM. HOWEVER, the courier did not find the correct location using the postal code provided (when Google Map will clearly show the location that I intended to receive the item). The courier was not too far away but I think this could be easily improved with a few taps on the phone.
Will not order online again for the same delivery address as I am concerned about the service quality of this particular delivery staff who is in charge of this area.
The worst electronics company I come…
The worst electronics company I come across!!!!!!!!
I purchased two items but only one delivered and driver told me someone from Courts will call me but I waited in vain. I called them several times and every time they promised to check and revert, no one ever call back. The worst thing is that they even updated the wrong item in the system, the one i didn't receive was updated as received, they mess up everything, my schedules and my plan. I really disappointed and frustrated with the whole process and never expect this to come from Courts that i regard it as a reputable company. I will never buy from Courts again.
Worst customer service
One of the staff doesn’t feel like helping when asking questions about monthly payment. Glad I didn’t apply and decided to make a full payment. First and last
Service recovery from initial dissapointment
(Updated - Service Recovery 4/5 star)
(Previously - 2/5 stars)
This bad review is aimed at extended warranty offered by Courts.
Bought an LG side by side fridge from Courts megastore 2 years ago with extended warranty. After 2.5 years fridge broke down and is still under warranty. (Do note I only have one fridge in my house)
First contact, it took 3 days for the repairman to come down and assess the issue.
Thereafter, it took another 2 days to notify me that they will fix the fridge, however there is no spare parts. They have ordered but cannot provide an ETA to when it can arrive.
Today is the 10th day and my house is still without a fridge. Throughout, I have been calling extended warranty hotline to request for a spare set. They always mention they are checking and will get back to me, however I have never received a phone call for updates.
I understand it takes time for repair, however, the lack of follow up and ambiguous timeline is really frustrating. I hope the management take a close look into this matter.
**Updated - Service Recovery (4/5 stars)**
After my expressed my online review, i received a phone call from the manager on the same day to arrange to fix my fridge. They brought in LG team to fix directly instead of the initial contractors.
Despite the initial disappointment, the service recovery was fast and solved my issues. I just hoped that they did it from the very beginning.
I would like to extend my thanks to the dedicated manager who called me a few times to ensure my issues were resolved.
