Not cheap but worth it if you want to give a quality present

The knife is very nice and I am satisfied with the quality. However, after I received the knife, I got an email for a sale on the knife. It seems as though I paid too much?

I ordered a Laguiole pocket knife as a gift for my son and was more than pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. It is a beautiful knife, one that will, no doubt, be kept with pride for years and years. The transaction with Laguiole - Actiforge was easy and handled with care and concern by their staff. A Five Star experience.

excellent service until had to return knife, as blade did not close sufficiently to cover the very sharp point. enquired about buying another smaller knife, again good service. up to this point communication was excellent. I then enquired about a refund of postage(for returning knife) and some consideration for a pocket of trousers which was torn by the point of the knife. I asked that the price of the knife be refunded if there was no consideration for the loss of postage and damage. (I had been assured of reparation before I returned knife) since then there has been no communication at all. I am now out the price of the knife plus return insured postage and I don't have a knife and I have idea what actiforge are doing.

I bought this knife for my husband as a birthday gift after he showed it to me at Orvis. The price was about half and I was able to customize it with his initials and the details he wanted. It was a little wait; but hey it's a handmade item that had to be shipped from France. He loves it!

The order system is really powerful and lead the customer to order his own knife, 10+
Shipped in right times, the only one really bad thing and double bad because it was a gift, it's been to find an hole on a Miter due to a not well filled bushing with pivot.
