Claim rejected for not being a permanent resident
I gifted my husband a iphone and wrapping gift of cover cloud insurance.
He lost is phone and when we reached cover cloud submitted all the documents the claim got rejected saying i am not a permanent resident. My husband and I both have been in UK since 2 years with ICT and dependent visa.

Regrettably, an ICT visa does not entitle the holder to indefinite leave to remain here in the UK, which means that we are not suitable to provide cover on this occasion. The eligibility criteria is set out within the policy wording and also emphasised within the online sales path. Whilst we feel we made reasonable attempts to draw your attention to this particular condition, given that you are ineligible for cover, we feel a full refund of the premium paid is appropriate.

Super easy and clearly explained.
Super easy to renew. All options available clearly explained and understandable. Nice font used on web page. Very attractive renewal premium. I have never claimed against my insurance and that is the real test of a companies quality but notwithstanding that, CoverCloud are impressive to date.

I won't even give them 1star because it's a bad company, dnt ever buy your policy with them because they ask you 10000 of documents and then at the end they will reject your claim. They dnt guide you through. Worst company ever they just making money from ppl but not helping them

We ask for all relevant information during a review of a claim but if the circumstances are not covered or excluded within our terms and conditions we cannot proceed with a claim. In this case, we requested a Proof of Usage document from you, which is something that is readily available from your network provider. However, as you were unable to provide this and failed to report the incident to your network provider within 24-hours, the insurer was unable to authorise your claim.
All this information was confirmed to you in your letter of decline.
