Highly recommend - I’ve been insuring our family’s mobile phones via Cover Cloud for a few years now. Very simple process to add new mobiles to the cover, as well as dealing with damaged phone.

Cloudcover themselves seemed fine but claiming is a joke. 'the Davies group', I've called twice and both times the phone has been answered by what seems to be a teenager who is half asleep. Submitted claim on the 28th Sept, by the 6th Oct nothing had happened despite me providing everything asked for immediately. Takes far too long, took the phone to a repair shop in the end, fixed in 15minutes. 8 days on after this claim I hadn't even paid the excess or sent the phone off, never mind the wait for it to be repaired and sent back.
They also insist on you removing your device from your iCloud account which I find exceptionally odd - so if it 'goes missing' there will be no way for you to locate it.

Generally ok but they seem to pass emails from agent to agent was asked to resupply information i had already supplied to somebody else they need to improve their on line / email process

Bike insurance is crap locked bike in a secure building with 10/10 insurance lock with cctv and they refused to pay up for theft don't use they don't give full details on quote make you buy thinking your protected but your not trust me don't use this company.
Secured to a solid steel bar bolted to building it was safer there than in the street how is that not min requirements?

God help you if you ever have to claim! I am trying to claim for my husbands mobile phone, this is apparently being dealt with by The Davies Group (look at their reviews online).
I began the claim over a week ago, I paid the excess amount 2 days ago, I rang today (a Friday) and was told that they would “escalate” the claim and I should hear back from someone by close of business on Monday. Bear in mind that we still have the broken phone in our possession.
This is ridiculously poor service, I’ve claimed in the past with my mobile provider, there was a new phone in my hand within 2 days, so I know it shouldn’t take this long. The best promise they could make is to reply to emails within 5 days. Shockingly bad, awful.
ETA 18/9/23 Reader, they did not ring me back, I had to call them. I am now waiting for an email from the assessor, (again promised by close of business tomorrow, let’s see) to tell me where to send the phone. I have to pay the postage to send this. I’ve been told assessment can take up to 7 days.

The only issue I have and I’m not sure wether it’s just me or a wider problem, is that monthly direct debits usually fail and if you don’t see your email to inform you then your policy will be cancelled (not straight away but if you don’t regularly check emails it can be a problem) Other than that I cannot fault the company at all, twice I’ve claimed it’s a quick and easy process, both times I’ve had a new gadget within a week, they keep you updated at all times on the progress of the claim and I wouldn’t use any other insurance company.

Some bad news - Cover Cloud has hiked my iPad premium by more than 30% at renewal after the first year of cover. No claims.
If your gadget is less than 18 months old, don't accept the auto-renewal offer.
Apply as a new customer if you see a discount code online and see if the price improves. It did for me.
Only fully review an insurer after you have made a claim.

All I have to do is send a quick email to Cover Cloud when changes are required to my policy, and they come straight back to you and sort everything out very quickly. So simple.
