Fantastic coffee and service! Blows nespresso and others out the water!! It’s a must try for coffee fans.

Cru Decaf has helped me survive Ramadan!
I make myself a decaf double shot Cappuccino every evening after my meal. This way I don't have to skip my coffee while fasting and I can still get a good night sleep!

Tried their pods when I saw them on offer in Waitrose a few weeks ago.
Really love the Espresso and Lungo pods.
Work brilliantly in my Nespresso machine.

I ordered a Nespresso Discovery Pack after reading the reviews and was keen to try the coffee. The coffee arrived quickly and I was looking forward to trying it. I made them all over a weekend for myself and a friend. I was so disappointed, they all lacked flavour and body and tasted weak. Even budget supermarket brands for less than half the price taste better. They are not even comparable to original Nespresso pods and cost practically the same.

Cru cafe appears very limited in stock of their offerings and whole product lines are disappearing. Amazon only carrying a very limited choice. Delivery fees exhorbitant.

Excellent, good tasting coffee. We've tried a few other brands but always return to Cru. We buy Colombian whole beans and grind them every morning. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I really love the coffee but largely chose them because they offered the recycling service. Unfortunately despite asking on order for the recycling bag to be included it did not arrive. I have since sent them two emails and waited 2 weeks and then 1 week for a response and there simply has been none. Not even acknowledging my emails. Really disappointed as I really like the coffee but will be cancelling my subscription and finding an alternative with a recycling service that hopefully works.

It was actually by chance that I stumbled upon CRU. I was going about my daily commute when I was approached by two lovely CRU employees at Waterloo station whom were handing out samples. We had a brief chat surrounding the ethical and sustainable values that the company upholds (big kudos) before I went on my way with a packet of Organic Dark Roast pods.

I haven't looked back since discovering CRU. Their range of coffee is outstanding - each comprising of unique flavours and consistencies. That accompanied with their values towards the environment leaves me with no desire to shop elsewhere for my coffee. I genuinely consider myself lucky for discovering CRU Kafe.

I'm a big fan of cru-cafe not just because of the amazing tasting coffee but also love how sustainable it is. My favourite coffee brand!!

I have the Nespresso Expert Original Espresso Machine by De'Longhi. I have never had a problem with my machine piercing CRU coffee pods - they work perfectly together.

I couldn't recommend CRU more. Delicious tasting coffee and fantastic customer service. I am especially a fan of the organic Indian and dark roast pods. Definitely worth a try.

While I normally buy my CRU coffee from Amazon, there's no option there to get a recycling bag. So I reached out directly to their customer service, who kindly sent me a recycling bag free of charge. Good coffee, great service, and love that I can recycle my capsules.

My favourite coffee pods for my nespresso machine, and I love that they are sustainability focussed. My favourites are the Dark roast, honduran and colombian

Couldn’t tell you what the coffee tastes like as not one of 10 pods in the box pierced properly. The coffee could be fabulous, but the pods are beyond useless.

The coffee does taste great, but my nespresso Essenza machine doesn't like the capsules, so I waste about 30% of my capsules. Makes it an expensive coffee to purchase, so I won't be purchasing again.

Ordered 3 boxes of the decaf coffee bags and they arrived yesterday (18/08) with an expiry date of 09/21! Emailed them and a person who I have been asked to remove their name agreed that coffee so close to the expiry date should not have been sent but stated I needed to return the boxes for them to then be replaced. I now have the hassle of trying to return them (not easy with no printer or transport) when they should never have been sent in the first place! Not impressed and such a shame.
Update - Following review received an update from A person who again I have been asked to remove their name and they kindly arranged to send new boxes of coffee (in date!) which have now been received but the hassle of this means I would not order again as cannot be sure how old the coffee would be with any new orders and would not wish to do this again. Shame as the new coffee (has a year til expiry) is nice.
This review was updated on 26/08 following a request from the company to remove personal details (name of person who dealt with issue) very odd as names are happily stated in positive reviews.

I'm not ashamed to say I'm a bit of a coffee snob. Having a barista girlfriend has turned me into this.

We were on the lookout for something tasty yet sustainable. This is difficult to find.

Cookies got the best of our instagram ads and lo and behold, Cru appeared.

We ordered the discovery box to get a true taste. This consisted of 10 x 6 different coffees. I'd like to add a note here that £20 for 60 nespresso pods is AMAZING.

Granted, there were a couple of types that weren't our thing. But we have found four solid flavours for ourselves. I cannot go a day without the "Espresso", the OH loves "Dark Roast".

We eventually decided to walk away from Cru for a couple of months due to wanting to experience other coffees but we've found our way back.

This time we've subscribed to ensure we never go a morning or afternoon without this wonderful coffee again.

Recommendations: the "espresso", Minor Figures oat milk, ice and a dash of Monin caramel syrup. It is heaven in a glass.

P.s the staff are great too. Each of us have exchanged emails with Tom and Adele.
