First class service, right on time

We needed a currency exchange service after making an offer on a house outside our home country. Our estate agent recommended Niclas of Currencies 4 You. We researched a number of firms, but feel fortunate to have chosen this one. Niclas acts as our single point of contact (vs our calling a customer service number and dealing with whichever representative answers the phone). He responds quickly, explains complicated processes clearly, has been flexible and good-humored about scheduling phone calls in spite of the 8-hour time difference. He’s also proactive, alerting us to potential changes in the currency markets. (While it’s impossible to predict market movement with 100% accuracy, Niclas has given advice that has saved us money, which we especially appreciate given the sums involved in a house purchase.) The team supporting our transactions also comes across as fast and competent. Overall we have been extremely happy with this service and will continue to use them going forward.

I was recommended to Prem and his team by a friend who had used them to transfer currency when buying a property in Portugal. I needed to transfer Israeli Shekels to GBP and Prem helped me to do this. I was very nervous about this transaction, but Prem was really helpful and was always on the end of the phone when I needed him to advise about the process or fluctuations in exchange rates. We have recently signed up to Currencies4you after sales calls to our office from Oliver and Mo. After looking into the company we decided to give them a try and we are so glad we did. We have suppliers in Europe, we are regularly paying 10k-20k Euros, we have saved around 1.5% on each of these transactions using Currencies4you rather than our usual bank Natwest. Today we sent EUR26k split between 2 suppliers, I emailed Shyam and Mo this morning, Shyam was back with a rate quickly which I checked was better than our bank, we transferred the money, and currencies4you had the two suppliers paid before lunch. We saved £360 just today compared to what it would have cost us with Natwest. All the people I have spoken to, Oliver, Mo, Shyam, Steph and others are very friendly, and get back to me quickly.

Walking along a beach in Spain, looking for properties to buy, received a phone call from this company. Rep got part way through his introduction and the line dropped out. Phoned me back a few minutes later claiming that I’d clearly hung up on him a number of times and if I didn’t want to talk to him I should have the decency to say it to his face! Incredibly rude man.
