Appalling, dreadful service. The CVs this site produces are unusable. DO NOT GO NEAR.

Untrustworthy. It feels like I've been scammed as their small print gives them the right to charge extortionate prices for their services, which have now taken me overdrawn! I have now requested an end to their 'subscription' and contacted my bank to block them ever charging my card again.

READ THE SMALL PRINT FOLKS, BUYER BEWARE!

would much prefer you stating at start that you charge for services you are shown as offering free cv service and templates

Money has been taken for 3 times while the website shows in error, AVOID at all COST!

By the way, I got replied a year later which remind me this awful experience, there was no phone line or email I can contact with, of course you won't know anything in detail!

Got a message from my bank about a weird payment. Turns out they have taken £30 from my account without my knowledge...I signed up for the 14 day basic and today is the 14th day, which would still count if anything.
They automatically take the money.
DONT USE THIS WEBSITE.

Joined the service on a trial basis for 14 days and paid £1.95 online. Less than 3 weeks later, I realised that they renewed my subscription without my consent and took over £29 without any notification, or any correspondence. Terrible company.

Do not use this company. The google search came up with free cv websites. I built my cv on this website and then when it came to finalise it there was a charge of 95p. I’d worked on it for 2 hours so reluctantly I paid.
There was NO mention of signing up/ subscription however 14 days later £29.95 was taken out of my account.
I thought I’d missed something and maybe I had accidentally signed up for something but there was barely a mention of subscription and absolutely no details about costs, terms etc.
I checked my emails… zero correspondence from them.
I sent them a message stating that they had fraudulently taken money out of my account. They refunded the £29.95 but again no communication.
Avoid them at all costs. Who knows if they would have attempted to withdraw more money.
I did get in touch with my bank to prevent any further withdrawals.

They were the first site to appear when you type ”cv” in Google.

At first the site shows you different types of CV’s and they’ll let you try it. They say nothing about it being chargeable. After this they will give you an ”offer” to pay only 3,95€. They tell you that the normal price is 19,95. That seems like a decent pricing - at the end of the day it’s just one CV and nothing more.

HOWEVER they will save your credit card information and will charge your account 19,95 € _every single month_. For one CV. Yes,. In comparison - spotify charges 9,99/month for all the music in the world. If you don’t realise this, they will keep charging your account month after month.

This is just absurd and the pricing for one colorful cv is absolutely ridiculous. One can easily write their cv:s in free programs.

I contacted them and got a rude response saying they have no interest in paying back my money. And I didn’t even get the job.

TLDR; trap, false marketing, rude customer service and they will steal your money.

People are suffering from Covid-crisis and this company takes advantage of it. They claim you will have 65% better chances to get a job but it is not true.

I now got no job and no food for this month - just because this company stole my money from my bank account. Nicely done you heartless trash.

O.M.G I can believe, I just checked my bank account and they take £29.95 for a CV but they say that the cost is just £1.95 is this possible????hmmm,that’s ridiculous and a very big scam.

Took 29.95 out of my account, only realised what had happened after reading all these reviews! Absolute scam, no mention of a subscription service anywhere

Scam / truffa!
The site propose a 1€ service, after couple of weeks it seems you have a subscription for 30€ a week.
Stay far from those thieves!

I polished my CV design for £1.95 - very reasonable. Although I accidentally signed up with an email address I don't actively use, and so didn't see I was going to be charged £30 after a month for a year's use. When I queried this, they were helpful and refunded my charge. They do email about this, so you just have to be on top of the cancellation if the ongoing plan isn't for you.

Thieves. I payd 39kr for CV template. Just now i sow that i payd 219kr ekstra for f..ing subscription for CV 😂 Let’s pay by card, its the 21st century !!! So easy to cheat 😂 and most importantly no one sits in jail from that company. Everythink is leagal...

Recently, I started to search for a new job because I wanted a fresh start. And of course I needed a cv that made recruiters think "hey, that woman has a cv visually catchy, let's see what she has to offer!" because being honest, nowadays is quite difficult to get a call when there's plenty of people applying for the same job offer with the same cv.
I started to look online for a nice, professional and easy cv builder and after trying some of them, online-cv.co.uk offered me what I was looking for. This resume builder made my cv look beautiful and the most important: professional. On their website, they have different templates available with various styles and colors (for mine I chose the blue one with a sidebar on the left side).
I'm pleased with the result, I received a call for an interview (I don't know if it was because of my cv's design but I'm sure it helped!).
If you're looking for a cv that makes you stand out, I would give it a chance!
