Appalling service and wish I had found this website before I ordered. I have repeatedly try to contact them and to no avail. I have opened a dispute with PayPal but they still owe me £48.20 and haven't even got the decency to answer my messages. Never use them and stay wel clear. It's a shame because there's are other companies who do a great service. I certainly won't recommend Dance and Leisurewear to anyone.

I ordered shorts to try on my students before ordering named ones, thought this was excellent customer service. Emails were answered very quickly & order arrived within 2 days. Will certainly be ordering again.

This company owe me an £85 refund for a pair of dance shoes which fell apart the first time I wore them. They have ignored my emails and calls for 2 months. I imagine they're trying to prolong the process so that I can't claim the money back from my bank. Complete scam. I've started taking legal action.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CON COMPANY.

After ordering items for our dance school show from www.danceandleisurewear we were very pleased with quality, the sizing information was accurate & customer service very helpful with speeding up delivery. We sent a few items back fit exchange & received these back within a couple of days. We have recommended you to others parents & will order again. The outfits looked great on stage . Thank you to your team.

Not even worth one star frankly. Order returned 11 March. Signed for by them 13 March. Still no refund. No replies to numerous email. Wish I had never heard of them. Taking legal action now.
Six months later... still no refund. Who would ever want to deal with a company like this? One who accepts and signs for your returns but also keeps your money! Wow.

I have placed an order 4 weeks ago and have emailed the company to try and find out why I have not recieved my item. No reply and no item. I would personally reccomend not buying anything from this company.

Edit- since writing this review a full refund has been issued on 1st June. Very pleased to have my money back, but saddened by the experience.

I received a telephone call from the owner on Monday am 8th May. No apology. Just asked if I would accept a pair of black shoes,I said I already had a black pair and wanted silver as ordered. She then said she would order these and she would have them by Friday 12th May and promised that I would have them by Saturday 13th May,and she would forward an email with a tracking number. Still no shoes. No email. No tracking Number. No contact
I have informed her today that I had posted letters to my MP, and also to RIP OFF BRITAIN at the BBC. Within seconds she had emailed me stating that she had sent a credit memo.

Has ordered and paid for dance accessories in spring 2016. Has not received anything and the company does not answer either phone calls or mails. Fraud. written 21/4 2017

Update 9/6 2017
As the DL team states, I have received my repayment with more than 1 year delay. When the DL team was told, I was going to Liverpool, miracles occurred with communication and repayment and I was paid the same day as I took a flight to Liverpool.

This is the worst on line company I have ever used. I ordered dance shorts and a leotard in February and after numerous emails online contact forms completed I eventually received the shorts last week. I am still waiting for the leotard and have chased time and time again to no avail. There is no answer on the phone, they ignore emails which is the most appalling customer service. The quality of the dance shorts isn't amazing, I can't even say they were worth the wait. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. IT IS NOT WORTH THE BIT OF DISCOUNT THAT THEY OFFER. UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!!!

Dont normally post reviews but this company is so bad it needs to cease trading. 6 weeks after the order, nothing received, no response to emails (they use a basic gmail) and no response to their phone line with no voicemail option. Good website but Mickey Mouse company. AVOID!

Shopped with Dance and Leisurewear for first time last week , website easy to navigate live chat was very helpful for size info . Products arrived quickly with no problems and I am thrilled with the gym leotards & shorts the quality of very good .

DISGRACEFUL COMPANY!!!
I have had my money refunded via a Bank Dispute.
Ordered 2 Leotards, never received them. I emailed them and i was Told me there was a problem with the website.
Then i messaged them on Facebook and was told my order was being dealt with 'right now' and would be with me within 2 or 3 days.... NOTHING.
Then I emailed again and was told they weren't in stock??
Then told being delivered.
Then told there was a website issue (again??) And they are refunding me...REFUND NEVER CAME.
The bank have now refunded me and they will claim it back from this APPALLING company who leave 2 little girls upset.
THEY TAKE MONEY FROM YOU WITH NO GOODS IN RETURN.....

I tried to purchase dance shoes on-line from Dance and Leisurewear on 23rd February this year and although they deducted money from my credit card at the time of the order they did not provide the goods I ordered, nor did they respond to telephone calls or emails, in which I asked for a refund. They eventually sent shoes which I did not order over 4 weeks later which I returned the same day by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, asking for a full refund. This incorrect order was received by them the following day. I have still not received any communication from them and I am still waiting for a refund 7 weeks later. Do not waste your money on this company.

Straight forward simple order , placed on Monday and arrived today. Lovely items, very happy . 5 star from me .

Avoid this Company at all Costs!!!!
We ordered leotards from this company and when they eventually arrived they were wrong. We tried email and phone calls only to get no response - we then threatened to write our opinion of the company on social media and got a response within a couple of hours telling us to send the wrong products back and they will replace them. We sent the products back immediately but have not received the correct products and they will not respond either by email over the phone to confirm if/when we will get the leotards we have paid for. Disgusting service all round. Wish I'd looked at all the reviews before I ordered!!!

I ordered from this company a few weeks back, goods took an age to come, when they have arrived I am an item missing, and I believe the 2 leotards I have ordered to be incorrectly sized. (My son currently wears a Zone 28" leotard, I've ordered him 30" and they are smaller the one he has!!)
I've tried several times to call (get the stupid recorded message saying use live chat - there is no live chat, or email them) emailed them several time, both via direct email from my email account, and from their contact us on their website, no response!!!
Today I have messaged again via their contact us, saying if someone doesn't get in touch regarding my order then I will seek legal action...........within an hour they had mailed me back asking for details !!!!! Try this approach people if you are having problems. I had this afternoon contacted my bank also, who were really helpful and opening a claim against them. Don't give up getting back your money. I will NEVER order from this company again and would never recommended them to anybody.

I ordered a pair of ballet shoes 3 weeks ago, they are still undelivered. I cannot get any response to the 4 emails I have sent, and the answer phone message I get on phoning just tells me to email or use the 'live chat' which i cannot find anywhere on the website. I will be driving to the shop in Morecambe at the first available opportunity and asking them to hand me my ballet shoes (they have taken my money via pay pal) and refund me for my fuel. I only live in Kendal (half an hour away) but I used the online service as I am very busy. (They have also charged me for postage and taken the money) Having read all the other reviews on here I am incensed! and wish I had read them before I ordered.

I placed 2 orders with this company. The first time there were issues with stock, after an alternative selected I received my order but this took almost 4 weeks. As pricing is competitive I orderd a second time, allowing enough time for delivery for my daughters birthday. Again issues with stock although my payment was processed , I tried to cancel the order - no response, I never recieved a reply just another email telling me abaout stock issues. I replied and tried to cancel the agian to cancel and received no reply. After further emails I received a response saying the parcel had been dispatched (after I had already tried to cancel the order weeks prior) I confirmed that I had not recieved the order. I have sent further emails which have remained unanswered and called numerous times and I have never spoken to anyone. Please avoid this company, I am now trying to claim via chargeback and have been out of pocket for 8 weeks.

Great prices so I ordered two items, dance shoes and a ballet bra, the latter being required for an exam in 3 weeks. Firstly the items took almost a week to ship and when the did, the shoes were the wrong colour and the bra was a set of briefs! Both items were ticked off on the invoice, presumable by a blind person.

Tried phoning but never got passed the answering machine, emails were ignored and then eventually I had a reply, an apology and a promise that if I returned the good at my own expense I would be fully refunded for the postage costs and the good would be replaced. I emphasised the need for one of the items for an exam.

I heard nothing for a week despite numerous very polite emails so I emailed demanding my money back as they seem to have neither the staff nor the stock. My emails were again ignored until the day after my daughter's exam when the items turned up! Over 3 weeks to send them, no communication, no apologies and no refund of the postage which was almost £5 so any money I saved has now gone!!

Absolutely dire service, if you can call it that. All to save a few quid, I really wish I'd read the reviews on here before ordering and gone to a reputable site.

The personalised items that we received were of a fantastic quality. The shorts fit lovely and the material is much thicker than other shorts we have ordered in the past. The online chat proved very responsive and answered the questions that were asked honestly. I would certainly use this company again, and would recommend to friends
