Love these shoes. Really good service and delivery

Easy to use website with plenty of choice. Unfortunately the personalised gymnastics shorts I ordered were too tight for my daughter, and I was worried about having to return them etc (something I rarely do). However, my emails were dealt with swiftly and I can't fault the service and would recommend.

Recently went for Pointe shoe fitting with my daughter. The service was second to none, lots of time was spent to get exactly the right fitting for her feet. I can’t thank the team at Dance and Lesiurewear for all there help. I would recommend them to anyone, excellent service.

I can honestly not rate Dance and Leisurewear and their staff enough... They made my daughter a personalised tshirt for a Little Mix concert and on the day of the concert i accidentally burnt the tshirt... I rang the shop and within an hour of leaving, I had a replacement tshirt and a very happy little girl.... Exemplary customer service and will continue to support local businesses like this ......

Making the initial order online was very easy. However, after 2 weeks of waiting for the shoes to arrive I did not receive a reply to my email enquiring why they were taking so long. The shoes were received a few days later. I had ordered the exact shoe size as advised but unfortunately they were too tight. The shoes are exactly what I wanted and so I will be re-ordering a half size larger. This is the first time I have ever had to return anything I have ordered online and I am disappointed that I will be paying 2 lots of delivery charges, plus return postage.

I ordered some shoes from dance and leisurewear and had to return them due to been the wrong size way back in January. To date I have still not had a refund they say they have refunded me, my bank and bank balance shows they havent. They do not reply to e mails and never answer the phone. I wish I had checked other reviews as this semms to have happened on numerous occassions. My advise is shop elswhere. I now intend to seek legal action. Amazing how a got a quick reply my order numbewr was 400093164 look forward to hearing from you

This is a company that has obviously fallen into a lot of trouble in the last 6 months or so. I would recommend avoiding. All companies get the odd poor review but the poor reviews I've read with regards to Dance and leisurewear (and there are about 100 on Google Reviews too) are all consistent in that customers struggle to receive their items once paid for.
If your item is in stock you're in luck. If it isn't you're in trouble. D&L took my £68 immediately after purchasing a pair of size 5 tap shoes then a day later sent me a standard email saying theyre out of stock but they're getting more in by the end of the week. That's the last I heard from them. They ignored my calls and emails and even blocked me from their Facebook and Instagram pages when i tried to contact them via social media. 4 months on and i have finaly got my money back via my bank. Morcombe Trading Standards were quite helpful and you have to fill in a form via citizens advice but hopefully they're building up a case against them. Their customer service and company ethics are outrageous. They still advertise my shoes as in stock on their website (even though they aint).
Hopefully they can pull it back before they go out of business
I have spread the word with all who attend my dance school and they have it noted.

Absolutely appalling place! I would avoid at all costs. Wish I'd read the bad reviews on google before spending £65 here. Ordered some goods on Monday 18th June for a dance show that weekend. Never received the goods or a refund! They never answer the phone and have stopped answering emails or Facebook messages which is also a theme with the shop!!! absolutely disgusted with the place and no explanation of where my order or refund is ! Reported to trading standards!!

I ordered some shoes 3.5 weeks ago they were showing as avaliable for 2-3 days delivery these didn’t arrive after a week I contacted the customer service team and was told that they had a stock issue and was promised they would be with me the following Friday.
3 and a half weeks later still no shoes I have now online chatted, lefts 6 voicemails, emailed and facebooked the company with absolutely no explanation or reply.

We visited the store in Morecambe for my daughters first pointe shoes, Lisa was lovely she talked us through everything involved in having pointe shoes. My daughter has quite awkward feet but they found her the perfect pair, a lovely shopping experience and will certainly be back.

I ordered a pair of dance shoes on 4th June and the company took £46 from me straight away. Despite me emailing them twice, ringing and leaving messages, contacting them via their 'contact us' form on the website and sending a message via their Facebook page, they refuse to communicate with me. I have not received any shoes and am now trying to get a refund. I have contacted MasterCard who will pursue them for a refund on my behalf if nothing is forthcoming by 4th July, the legal deadline of 30 days. I would strongly recommend that you do not order anything from this company as the customer service is non-existent.

No email or phone call received today. Still no email to say the item has been shipped or any card through the door. I find it hard to believe that the item has been sent at all. Hopefully MasterCard will have more luck getting my money back from this company.

I get most of my dance clothes from here. Good quality and good value for money. Good customer service and products are packaged neatly and professionally.

I ordered easily on dance Leisurwear website, shoes arrived quickly but sadly on the small side. I returned them & received a refund quickly then ordered a larger size online which are great. Thank you
