My order never arrived as it was out of stock but my card was charged. So far I have found it impossible to contact the company by any means. No refund received, very frustrating.
Update: After many emails and many weeks, I received a refund.

The shorts are great, they are for a birthday gift and I was really pleased with the standard of them. Great design with the name and the heart! Arrived so quickly, great service. Thank you!

Edited to add that it looks like my issue is hopefully on its way to being resolved. I have been promised an in store credit note, which will thankfully put an 8 month ordeal to a close. I received communication from a very helpful member of staff today, which Dance and Leisurewear are clearly very lucky to have.

If I could leave zero stars for this company, I would. My order took 3 months to arrive. I had to send so many messages asking where my order was before I got a response. I was told that they would send a free gift as compensation for having to wait so long, but surprise surprise, no free gift. Not the end of the world - however discovering the item was faulty was really upsetting. I was promised a replacement - but 5 months later, nothing. And now they won't talk to me! I'm in the process of trying to get a refund back through my bank. Shocking customer service - stay away from this company.

I've ordered from Dance Leisurewear for years now. Always reliable, always good products, never had a complaint.

The first pair I bought were too tight but no trouble exchanging them. This pair is just right. Very friendly and helpful service.

I was unsure about purchasing my pair of ballroom shoes online mostly because of the fit. With the specific pair I choose I was able to order two different sizes to check which fitted better and return the unused pair with full refund no question asked. The customer service was excellent. I would recommend this website anytime.

I placed an order for shoes which arrived quickly , I had an issue with sizing & had ordered the wrong size this easily recitified . After some very helpful advise on the online chat I ordered the correct size & sent the incorrect ones back. A refund was promptly received & the new shoes are perfect. I will definitely use again and recommend to my dancing friends . Thank you

I took my daughter for her first pointe shoes, the lady made her feel so special & spent time explaining & trying on lots to make sure got the perfect pair. My daughter is so pleased & enjoying her pointe classes, lots of parents have also been . Great shop & staff thank you

Dreadful. Placed an order in January, items were missing but my credit card was debited, I returned the items that did arrive. Still waiting for the refund. Was told it had been issued, still waiting and hey guess what....they won’t talk to me! No communication whatsoever. Avoid.

I order a pair of dance shoes from this company over the phone and was told they would be dispatched on the same day. When I chased after a week I was told I would receive them in 2-3 days. Now another week has gone by and no sign of them. What is worse is they do not communicate with you. They don't answer the or respond to messages which has all the hallmarks of a company that's not coping or worse failing. Stay away from this company you have been warned.

Ordered an item but then realised I should have got the larger size. Contacted them by webchat the same day and asked them to change the order which they agreed to do. When the item arrived, it was the original size and they had not changed my order at all. Have since returned it and now e mailed them 4 times with no reply. Tried ringing them but can only get the answerphone every time. Asked for a refund but no response so far.

My story starts on the 2nd Aug, when I originally bought two wrap skirts. After 2 weeks of no show, and no contact, was advised they'd run out of stock and would be sending alternatives. fastforward to 30 Aug had received the skirts but was not happy with the quality or the fit so returned both via signed for 1st class. These were received and signed at their shop on 4th Sept - no contact or refund so anoher deluge of emails and FB messages chasing. Fastforward to 16 Oct FINALLY a credit note received. But no money on my statement. Advised to wait 21 workings days. 21 Nov still no money and another trail of emails with sparse reply. Called on 29 Nov and told my refund was successful and to chase my bank. Now bouncing between my bank and this retailer.
Have raised a claim with my bank, Sage Pay and reported this company to consumer standards. Genuinely think they've just kept my money. Really not worth the hassle for two wrap skirts - steer well clear. Lucky for those who've had a good experience, but the majority of customers have been fleeced.
