Dreadful company to deal with. Nobody ever answers the phone you always get an answerphone, 3 times I've been advised via email (this is in response to me emailing them) I will be getting my order but still no sign of it.

Actually since posting this review my order has turned up. I ordered a onesie and it's not at all like the picture on the website. Also I chose mixed colours for the lettering, and the paperwork confirms this, yet they did it all in pink. Complete waste of money and time.

Having regularly shopped online with Dance Leisurewear I am surprised to read the reviews below, I have used them for many years as have parents within the same dance school. We order all our uniform and shoes, the staff have always been helpful with enquiries & the live chat is a good easy way to get quick answers. Items arrive within 5 days with free shipping and the prices are great. I will continue to use and recommend to others. Karen

Really poor experience. No communication initiated by them and patchy response to emails/on line chat. Phone never manned. They did not let me know they were waiting for stock.After chasing several times and a weeks wait they said it had arrived with them and promised delivery was being sent that day (it wasn't ) then the next day (it wasn't ) the item has never been posted at all and no communication received. If they had told me the item was still not in stock I would have been able to make other arrangements. Still no reply to my email however a refund has been given so I am guessing the item is no longer available. If you need an item by a certain date I would avoid. I will not use this company again.

On 15th October I ordered a pair of tap shoes from this company. I had not received them after a week so I got in contact and they said that they were not in stock but should be soon. They should have made it very clear before I ordered the shoes that they were not in stock but nonetheless they took my money for them. A week later I inquired again as to the status of the order and they said they still hadn't arrived. I then discovered that in fact I had ordered a pair of children's size shoes, not adult size, this was also not at all clear initially on the product page (I would have assumed an adult size would not be specified as such, and that a child size would be indicated clearly but it was the other way round), in fact for this shoe they don't even stock my size so if I'd realised that I would not have ordered them in the first place. As a result I asked for the order to be cancelled and for a refund to be sent back to my account. This was on the 2nd November. By the 22nd November the refund was yet to appear. I got in contact via the online chat last week (14th November) and they said I should check my bank to see if the payment was pending and it wasn’t, and resultantly they would contact Sage Pay and get back to me as to what was happening within 48 hours. They failed to do this. I then got back in contact on Friday (17th November) and they said someone from accounts would call me before 5pm. Again, they failed to do this. Eventually on 22nd November for the first time since this began I managed to contact them by phone after many many attempts and they have said the refund is now being sent by bank transfer and should arrive by 5pm. It arrived today, 23rd November at around 11am.

This experience nearly pushed me as far as to report this company to Trading Standards. As far as I can tell this company is incompetent and totally ill equipped to deal with online orders, and their customer service is close to non existent. You might be able to contact them on live chat if they're online which isn't all that often and there's a tiny chance you can get to them by phone. To anyone else who has had issues I highly recommend you keep on at them until you get your money back.

AVOID!! Poor product and poor customer service.
Having asked for personalized shorts, in bold double lines, the lettering given on the product was half upper half lower case and not all in double lines! it looked like a 5 year old had stuck the sequins on! the company said they would not refund as no one else had ever complained! I find that hard to believe.
The sizes are also ridiculous, the size requested was for age 8-9 and you wouldn't get any average size 4-5 year old in those shorts.
Rubbish communication when asking for action to be taken, poor service on line being thrown out of a long awaited chat queue which I was only in because I could not get hold of a human on the phone!!
STAY AWAY and use GymJam instead!

Poor communication-advised item not in stock only after chasing 2+ weeks after payment. Item received, but unfortunately too small so item returned (at my own cost) in accordance with the trader’s terms and signed for at their premises on 23 September. To date, no refund has been made and no correspondence received. Telephone not answered, emails ignored and webchat unavailable.
Have reported to Trading Standards and will be taking legal action.

Love the online chat customer service. I knew which Items i wanted to purchase and stumbled across this website searching for a store who had them in stock. The online agent helped with my sizing questions . They made the process as simple as it should be. Leotards arrived quickly & excellent quality exactly as advertised.

Wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered! Placed order then didn’t hear anything else from them. Chased it up to be told they had to cancel it because of technical issues! No contact from them to tell me this. Now constantly chasing up my refund as the money was taken after they apparently cancelled the order! No answer when I call. No reply to my last email and live chat weren’t very helpful.
Update: A month after I placed an order I finally have my money back but only because I went to my bank who carried out a chargeback. Can finally forget about this joke of a company!

Stay clear of this company. Worst customer service ever, they do not answer the phone or emails. Will never use this company again.

Thrilled with our order for gymnastics Leotard & matching shorts, lovely and sparkly . Quality of the items are superb.
Questions in sizing were answered quickly on chat facility and delivery was received within 4 days.
