Do not use this solicitor - Given 1 star ⭐️ would be minus -5 star ! SDLT not paid in time or penalty fee. Now HMRC are taking legal proceedings against me. After numerous emails to them standard reply with completion team !

Like most people finding buying a flat is quite stressful with all the paperwork needed but Kathryn kept us informed all of the time hand hurried up the slow sellers solicitor so would recommend hem as very helpful

We had a lot of bad luck moving with 2 chains falling through and having to find new buyers and find a new place to live a few times. Amandeep and Matthew were very responsive the whole time and made everything that little bit better. Very professional with everything they do. Last time we bought and used a different solicitor they were impossible to get hold of so this was a big thing for me and i would definitely use them again!

We live in Northern Ireland but were buying a house in England and needed an English law firm.Through a broker we were put in touch with Davies and McGrath Law..
How did it go?
From start to finish the service was excellent. All correspondence was via computer and phone. We have not got great computer skills but during the whole process we were put at ease by Zoe,Charlotte and Jodie who never failed to assist us.
Considering the first class service they gave us we gladly recommend this Law Firm.

After issues with a previous solicitor I have had a better experience with Kathryn and Mathieu. They reviewed the case which my previous solicitor struggled with and raised additional queries. Eventually findong a workaround i was able to exchange before losing my mortgage deal. Thanks

Trying to sell a piece of land for nearly 2 yrs. Twice the file has been left on a desk after the solicitor left. Now I’m being told to re do all the checks as so old……

Won’t pick up the phone but more than happy to send emails blaming me! This company is an absolute joke. If you want to employ a solicitor that can’t get a simple job done, this is them! Waste two years of your life to have achieved nothing.

Had another conveyancing solicitor first, and things were going very wrong. We moved to Davies and McGrath, and it was a great move.

Zoe and Charlotte were great to work with. My emails were always answered promptly and they made the moving process stress free.
My only issues were that they aren't on the board for NatWest and I was charged over double what I was quoted. I now understand why, but I don't think it was made clear enough when I received my original quote.

I have had bad past experiences with online conveyancing so was extremely pleasantly surprised with the efficiency, great communication and professionalism of Zoe and her team. Will definitely use again!

Initially wasn't great so actually did a review on Trustpilot regarding my experience. Received a personal call from Steve Davies as he wanted to understand why i had left my review.
So i gave him what I hope is constructive feedback. From that moment on things got much better. I was assigned to Zoe and Charlotte who were prompt in communication and as helpful as can be.
This has made what I expected to be a difficult purchase into one which was a pleasure. If you get Zoe and Charlotte looking after your case, you are in good hands.
Now a 5 star review, but they need to look at their telephone support,as too many times it took too long to reach them on the main telephone number.
Steve has listened to my feedback so hopefully there is now a positive change there.

Amandeep was my solicitor and she was assisted by Matthew. The service I received was exceptional. I brought a property and there was a delay through no fault of Amandeeps, unfortunately we had a very unresponsive other side, but nothing was too much trouble for Amandeep. She stayed on top of the file and I wholeheartedly trusted her and her advice which was brilliant. Would definitely use them again.

Zoe at Davies & McGrath Law is an exceptional, and a very dedicated conveyancing solicitor. She helped me with my home purchase process with a complete peace of mind, in a very efficient way. She was always prompt in her response. In my experience with property solicitors, I have not seen someone an efficient and very helpful person as Zoe. I would strongly recommend Zoe for property conveyancing process. She is the best.

Amandeep who deal with my case was excellent as she did everything so well and efficiently. There were some delays caused by reasons outside her and the firm's control hence required for me to be patient but eventually all went really well the completion was done. The firm made my experience pleasant. I would highly recommend them for conveyancing as my experience was very good.

I used this solicitors when purchasing a property 2 years ago. I am now unable to remortgage as they have not process my application to the Land registry. I have contacted the firm a number of times via email and phone but have not gotten any updates.
If you are looking for a solicitor to help you with a property purchase, do not use this one
