We received very good service and would recommend them to other people selling or buying a property. They have been quick to answer any questions and they are very thorough.

Amandeep is a brilliant conveyancing solicitor. Once I was on her caseload, she was really responsive and took care over specific details and to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. If things were going to take longer because of external reasons she gave me advance warning, so I felt like I was in a really safe pair of hands.

Responded in a timely manner to my questions and explained everything to my satisfaction- great service- thank you!

I dealt with Hazel, Kim and finally Steve, who I am still waiting for a response from and a copy of their complaints procedure. If you value your sanity do not use this company and do not use Joseph and Joseph Legal group who then pass you to this company.

They have to be the worse bunch of people I have ever dealt with. How they sleep at night is beyond me. They lie they do not respond to emails. They are shockingly bad. They provide no advice. They do not answer the phone. They do not follow instructions. We were told we needed a coal search we didn't do it they didn't even notice. We asked for certificates for the boiler they ignored us. They have failed to complete the certificate of title this was a document Steve said I needed to complete immediately - I believe they only have one solicitor working there as they cannot find another one to fill this document in. They say I need to pay for another solicitor to complete this job - for which I will incur further fees. They promised to look in to this on the 12th November and now consistently ignored me since. That's no different to the sale. Had I have not known the seller and had we not worked together I think we would still be waiting to complete. I must have sent over 80 emails to get the matter completed and I pushed to completion without having information I needed as I just couldn't get it out of them and I am pretty insistent. They failed to register the property with the land registry without me chasing them. They provided incorrect forms for me to sign.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Kathryn and Mathieu have been simply brilliant, so patient and understanding. Communication was clear and prompt. A great personal service provided by both of them.

The service was brilliant & the attention to detail was professional. Regular Updates and support when needed.

What a fabulous duo - Zoe and Charlotte - were. They have been so helpful right up to the final point. Every email answered within 10 minutes and have made the sale of our property so much less stressful than I thought it would. I would always advise anybody to use Davies & McGrath Law because if all the staff are as helpful as Zoe and Charlotte you will have an easy time buying/selling a house.

I was assigned these solictors via Lets move legal group, and to be honest after reading some of the reviews I was rather worried. I`m happy to say these worries were ungrounded.

The onboarding process was very quick, and searches were requested that same week. The searches did take a ridiculous seemingly amount of time (about 8 weeks) - and I was told the search queues were long. I did check with the estate agents who confirmed that this was the case, and they had never known a period like the current period for searches to take as long as they were (This will be an issue no matter how much you pay for a solictor - its a local government issue, so frustrating , but nothing to do with Davies & McGrath)

Mathieu , the assistant conveyancer, always got back to my emails within 24 hours, and had the search report back to me within 3 hours of the searches being completed. Kathyrn , the conveyancing solicitor would also get back quickly when there was movement to report. Both are very personable and pleasant to deal with (especially on the phone, but most of the process needs to be done via email so there is a chain).

Once the queries came back from the sellers solicitors exchange and completion was completed within 6 days. Full process took about 12 weeks, delays down to the search company. We wanted to be in by Christmas and 8 days ago this looked unlikely as we didn't even have an exchange date, however completion was today, which is fantastic.

Don`t be concerned with the low price offered, but don`t expect everything to be done within 6 weeks with the current search times. I would also say it pays to be nice and appreciate search times are beyond the solicitors control - that is general advice for anyone you deal with as well. Kathyrn and Mathieu are a credit.

Very straight-forward to deal with, we used them when buying our house and they just got on with it without any problems. Its not been the easiest of purchases - with both the seller and their solicitor being more than difficult to get hold of and obtain key information from at multiple stages - but Kathryn and Mathieu have gone above and beyond every step of the way to be our advocates, push for deadlines to be met and at the end of the day get the purchase over the line within our specified timeframe.

They were always friendly, approachable and professional in all their communications - quickly able to alleviate our stress and ensure things stayed on track.

I completed on my property yesterday and dealt with Laura and Abi. Both ladies were amazing! I had to change solicitors due to issues with my previous ones and my experience with this ladies was nothing short of fantastic! Communication was brilliant, I was consistently kept updated and I always got prompt replies. There was nothing more I could have wanted and would highly recommend. Not only that but when I changed solicitors the onboarding team were also fantastic! I was a little nervous due to the stage in my purchase and having to move however the onboarding team reassured me my case was being assigned and I was always able to speak to them and get an update too! What impressed me the most was the communication from everyone I dealt with and I always felt I was a priority to them.

Kathryn and Mathieu make a fantastic team. I would highly recommend them. They kept me well informed and responded to all my queries in a professional and friendly manner. Kathryn you were fantastic and I would definitely recommend you and hope to work with you in the future if the opportunity ever arises. I had many delays due to the vendors solicitor but thanks to my solicitors we were able to complete everything in the deadline set. I must say when I started the process I kept having to chase up things and asking for progress but as soon as l was assigned my conveyancer who was Helen she made everything easy. She was very quick with responses and would explain things if l wasn’t sure. I would recommend Helen to anyone and l wound work with her again.

Absolutely awful communication. We instructed Davies McGrath Law in November 21 for the sale of our property and the purchase of another. Two months later we still had not been allocated a solicitor and no work had started. We were then allocated a solicitor who then left a couple of months later. On the day of exchange our buyer pulled out right at the last minute but could we speak to Helen? No, not a chance! I was on the phone to her assistant Teresa, and my husband was on the phone to the estate agent! The estate agent finally got a call from Helen but not, us, the paying customers! Whenever we tried to phone to speak to Helen she was never available and couldn't even acknowledge emails. In fact the only time we got to speak to her was on the day of completion when we were about 150 miles into the 180 miles to our new home! Diabolical service and would recommend anyone runs 180 miles in the other direction!!!

Sorry guys I don't have more than 5 stars for you u wish I have 10 star's normally I don't review Companies or people but Davies & McGrath law deserve that that especially Helen I just want to let You know Helen is very lovely and very Professional Polite.. she works on my case beyond the limit's I'm glad she deals with my case and she help me a lot even my English is not very good
