DC Battery Reviews 

The website offered me an option which was supposed to be compatible with my Acer Aspire One. On receiving the order I realised that this was not the case. They refused to replace the item and did not answer to my subsequent emails. Appauling service!!

Website masquerades as being local to your country but the company is in Hong Kong. Granted, prices are ridiculously low. Product arrived poorly packaged in an envelope held together by one piece of tied string - and no bubble wrap. Product - a battery charger - appeared to work, but never charged the battery past 50%, so totally useless! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Disptach and received within time, fair conditions, no problem at all. Will come back in the future.

Just like most people on this website, the battery was ordered and paid for months ago and never delivered. Incompetence may be one explanation but the number of similar experiences on this site suggest that fraud is another. This is automatically shared with dc-battery. Would someone at dc-battery like to identify themself and provide an explanation on this site and to the customers they appear to have let down?

Never used this site before, however my son wished to purchase something that 'seemed' better value in HD rather than the usual purchasing off Amazon. However, we ordered the goods on line 4th August paid by Card to which has cleared, yet the order is stating 'pending'!! Called the number off the website 'busy and to leave a message', tried to email via their website 'security code verification' - error!! Can anybody please help & to also report this Company? Thankyou

3 months down the line I am still waiting for my batteries! Have sent numerous mails directly and via the web-site but not had one reply.

Seriously, there are other sites out there who deliver and correspond as they should! AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I ordered three compatible batteries for a Canon EOS 5D. The first battery that I tried was so tight that I had to lever it out of the camera. This is several weeks ago and I have been in dispute ever since. I have had some replies to emails, eg asking me if I'd tried all three batteries!! (as if I would!!) and that all batteries are the same size.
Do not ever use them!!

Ordered Canon BP-2L5 compatible batteries, order arrived very quickly but not compatible at all, Much bigger and not even the right capacity

Have sent an email but seeing the reviews here not hopeful of a refund or reply

Be warned stay away form this company, and learn from my mistake always check out reviews before purchasing :(

Great trade, goods arrived promptly and in excellent condition. purple earphone and got pink one, but my daughter was happy, so all good. Recommended, would trade again.

Have read large threads spanning years about this site ripping most of there customers off. Many have tried to close the site down, but it seems that it's not that easy. RBS still facilitate their payments, the New Zeland domain registrar doesn't seem to want to shut them down, even though people are complaining, and even shopsafe.com have them on their site after disgruntled customers have complained, which i've just done also. They are an outfit based in Hong Kong - they will take your money and ignore you calls giving you nothing in return. If you have been biten please make sure you complain make it publicly known so others don't get scammed also.

I ordered a battery and a flash card - battery arrived late - a cheap copy rather than the make they advertised. The flash card still hasn't arrived but I have been charged for it.
They don't respond to e-mails.
They are rogues - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THEM!

I too only read the reviews after I'd ordered a battery so felt quite concerned about the service I might receive. To my considerable relief the battery turned up on time and seems to be performing perfectly. If I have any quibble it's that the website didn't make it abundantly clear that the battery wasn't a genuine Nikon product; still, for the price, I'm not complaining.

I ordered my battery charger + the car charger from dc battery charger because they were the cheapest and had free delivery too. The order came home on the 6th day.

At around the 4th day i tried to contact them on their phone number + email and there were no response. Then i saw all the 30 odd reviews here that said very bad things about the company. So i feared that i made the stupid order before reading reviews.

Today morning i received the charger and it works perfectly well. I would say 4 stars for not coming back to my email. BUT 5* is fine because I could have just waited as per the terms.

So in short I had my perfectly working charger delivered home on the 6th working day (Saturday morning).

I ordered a bettery from this company, which I have to say a compatible battery arrived. I put it in my camera and the camera went hot, the battery never charged and now the camera will not work at all, even with the old battery.
This was in March, since then I have tried phoning them and e mailing them, I have had e mails saying 'we will respond in 24 hours' and they neer do. I have had 2 from a lady called Bella who does not know what she is doing and I thnk is a child. The last e mail asked me what was wrong and what I had ordered, despite them having all my details. That was a month ago and I am still waiting to hear. Meanwhile I now dont have a working camera.
Also tried their website today, and can't get on it, so its either chamging, or been taken off. I will be reporting this company to trading standards if I get no reply from my latest e mail sent today.

I ordered a small item £3.99 almost a month ago despite 4 emails to them I have still not received the item, or any explanation as to why it hasn't been sent. My order still states 'pending'.
There is a reason they are cheap - they are nothing short of thieves.

Tried ringing them , waste of time as answerphone all the time.Emailed them 3 times and got the same reply as others on here.The customer service is non existant. Ive never been as angry with a company as I am with this one. They are CRAP CRAP CRAP.AVOID THEM OR YOU WILL BE SORRY.

I too placed an order with this firm without reading the reviews. My experience is exactly the same as most others. My goods are still not delivered after 3 weeks. Phone always on answerphone and they never get back to me. E-mailing is similar with one automated acknowledgement and then nothing more. Basically they are crooks and one should NEVER NEVER have dealings with them. RBS Worldpay should be ashamed of themselves for having any dealings with them

Ordered batteries on 10 April 2010, told that batteries dispatched 11 April, delivery 4 -5 days. Now 10 May. Standard reply to emails saying they will deal with problem within 1 business day. No reply to phone calls. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Goods not yet recieved ordered 18th Apr terms of contract advised 5 to 7 working days now 30th april. several e-mails and phone calls made with no response other than your question has been noted a respresentative will contact you back.

Sent e-mail that good have been sent, but never received any thin. Try to contact the no luck either by phone or e-mail
