The replacement battery caused the laptop to reboot occasionally soon after receipt.

When I reported the problem to DC-Battery they suggested a Windows update then a BIOS update, neither resolved the problem.

After three weeks the battery failed to recharge rendering it totally useless.

It took several emails over the next four weeks to get a returns authorisation and a return address.

Bella, a customer service agent at DC-Battery, insisted that the faulty battery was returned without tracking. At this point I realised they had no intention of replacing the battery.

Forever hopeful I returned the battery to Hong Kong via Royal Mail and tracked the parcel which cost £14.00.

After six days Royal Mail confirmed that no-one was at the address to accept the package, so the package was held locally for collection.

That was two weeks ago. Endless emails and telephone calls are ignored by Bella.

This company gives Internet Sellers a bad name.

Further to my original posting:

DC-Battery acknowledged receipt of the faulty battery on 23rd October 2009.

On November 6th 2009 I received a replacement battery. It has been under test for 24 hours without fault.

Hong Kong Company using a .Co.Uk domain

After avoiding the ebay Hong kong companies.
I searched out a (what I thought) UK company, only to wait two weeks, with no reply to emails, and an answerphone that does not allow any messages to be left.
Warranty - I presume will be useless as you cannot find a return address. The Domain registration is in Glasgow, but with no owner name

Battery only worked for three days!

Received the laptop battery after a two week wait, explained by it coming from Hong Kong and not from the UK as their website suggests. Then it worked fine for three days, but now it won't hold any charge at all, meaning I am totally without use of my work laptop! Their UK based landline just goes straight to answerphone, so will have to see if they respond to emails!
