Payments been fine, and they managed everything for you. But once a year you have to have a review. Getting one in place can take ages.

Been with this company for nearly 2 years and have to say they are amazing. Everyone is very supportive, kind, and caring. Would 100% recommend. So much weight off my shoulder.

I’ve been a client of debt correct for 2 years.

Initially they were really great, all the staff members were genuine and caring and I feel so grateful to them for the help they have given me.

However, recently the quality of care has been really disappointing… from being gaslit by a rude telephonist to then being ignored via the email.

I was given 3 different times for my annual review and every-time I tried to confirm when my review was, I was just given a different time… all very weird and clearly nobody knows what they are doing there! This was after I was sent a rude message explaining that they had “tried to contact” me, and suggesting that I wasn’t cooperating and that my account was at risk of closure. The rude telephonist told me I WAS called and that they definitely tried to contact me. I pushed back and said I have not been contacted at all, she was rude and wouldn’t admit that it was their mistake. Her manager then clarified that I was indeed correct.

Because of the rude interaction on the phone, I started to look elsewhere for debt management and found a provider who does it for free.

After explaining the above, and mentioning specifically it was the lack of care and the rude staff that pushed me to go elsewhere.

I told DC my decision to leave on the day of giving them my scheduled payment as usual. I requested specifically that I still want them to send the money from my final payment to my creditors etc.

I then got notification that my account was closed. No big deal as the new provider was already contacting creditors etc.

But I asked them, when will I receive my final statement? I got no reply. Had to send a chaser email, then got a reply that my message was being forwarded to the manager. Who then told me it would be with me within the next 48 hours.

48 hours passed, sent a chaser email. No response. Sent another, no response.

Sent a 3rd email reminding them that I have in fact paid them in July and that I do require the same standard of service as a paying customer, I then get sent my statement. No apology, nothing.

I used to recommend DC to everyone, I now would advise you to go elsewhere. Terrible service recently, uncaring staff.

The Audacity! I was charged fees and they refused to pay them and still charged me for their services.

The worst company I have ever experience. Do not please these good reviews, they damaged my credit score by not actually paying my debtors. I have finally dig myself out a debt hole, but low and behold their on my credit score as I apply for a mortgage the fees THEY DIDNT PAY.

Be Careful with DebtCorrect – My Personal Experience

I want to share my experience with DebtCorrect so others can be aware before signing any agreement with them. Unfortunately, their Debt Management services caused me serious problems.

Even though they send a monthly statement showing payments supposedly made to creditors, in reality, those payments are often delayed or don’t reach the creditors at all. I only found out after checking directly with my creditors and discovering missed or late payments.

Because of these delays caused by DebtCorrect, my credit score dropped significantly, and now I won’t be able to get any credit for the next six years. This happened even though I paid DebtCorrect on time every month.

My advice: If you still decide to work with them, don’t just rely on the statements they send you. Make sure to regularly check with your creditors directly to confirm that payments are actually being received on time.

Be careful – one wrong decision can affect your financial life for years!

Debt Correct has truly been a lifesaver for me. From the very start, they handled everything with absolute care and professionalism, making what once seemed like an impossible situation so much more manageable. They gave me the space to breathe again, lifting a huge burden off my shoulders.

Just got off the phone with Jacob from Debt correct and I thought I would leave a little review. I would recommend anybody having financial issues give Debt correct a call. They have been helping me since December 2023 and I will be debt in 25 months if I stick to the plan they gave me. I only pay what I can afford and they have dealt with all my creditors so no one has been banging on the door looking for payments. The plan they made for me has been such a relief and I am very grateful for what Debt correct have done for me.

It is always very hard talking about money but Emily was lovely and kind and went through it all with me slowly and although it’s hard I left the phone call happy with the service and happy my money problems are managed

I was very apprehensive about phoning, but Kim put my mind at ease pretty much immediately. She spoke all through my options and we determined which was right for me, there was no rush, everything was in my own time, as I was a bit upset about the whole situation. Highly recommend!
