Great designs and very friendly customer service !!

Comfortable items and great designs for anyone who loves Norse mythology.
Having worn them to work and while hiking in the woods with my dogs, the quality seems good. They didn't move after that and the first washes.
Also very satisfied with the communication and after-sales service:
Contacted via insta following a printing problem on an article. Despite the end-of-year holiday season, the responses were quick and very friendly.
A replacement t-shirt was sent to me, with a second one as a gift for the inconvenience and wait due to the holidays to send it.
I can only recommend you!!

Teemil quality control

This was sorted out shortly before Xmas by the lovely Amber, so everything was made right and arrived in time. We even got a krampus tee as a gift for the unfortunate experience with temil "support" xdd
Obviously DFO support should have gotten my query first but it is done now, from what I understand the printing/supplier will get changed so hopefully no one else gets to experience the nasty responses I got "because they are busy".

0 communication on items that failed quality control
Was given an estimated delivery date of
" between Monday 2nd Dec - Friday 6th Dec."
Had to chase this up as there was absolutely no email or communication on "It looks like there was a quality issue with the below item and that there is currently a wait on receiving replacement stock."
Instead sent a refund instead of asking if I wouldve liked a different colour, which are still available on the website.

Best quality Norse clothing!

Really impressed with the quality of the clothing from this store. Designs are amazing and I love the detailed story- descriptions they come with. It’s obvious a lot of thought and effort goes into this company and that’s why I love these guys so much. 10/10!!

Slow delivery and wrong size item sent

Ordered several items, had to contact them as not heard anything about items being delivered. Told they had run put of packaging so couldn't send, reminded them I spent £5.95 for postage and they then confirmed items would be posted. Items arrived and they had sent wrong size for 1 item. They said they would post correct item but I had to return at my own time and expense the incorrect item and they would then refund. Given lack of customer service I haven't done that as will never get refund. Will never use company again, shocking customer service

We just came across this old review and wanted to apologise for the inconvenience of receiving an incorrect item size in your order. We sent the wrong size by accident and we're sorry for that.

Unfortunately mistakes do happen, and as a small business, making many items by hand, we can't afford to send out replacements without having the other item returned. As such we do ask for assistance in returning items.

Had you sent the item back, rest assured you would have received a refund within 7 days including for the postage costs.

We're now under new management with a larger outfit and have a dedicated customer service manager to ensure prompt response times on emails. We also now offer free returns as standard to improve the customer experience.

I do hope you give us a try again in future and thank you for your feedback.

Design and quality are really good

Design and quality are really good. Im wearing Broken Gungnir hoodie for like 3 years straight and it doesnt show any wear whatsoever. I had one extra request/question today via email and they replied to me in couple of minutes. 5 stars!

Disappointing

Products are of high quality, there’s no doubt about that.

Sadly, the app has been taken down with no word at all. Subscriptions and donations were also taken with no warning and so far, no one has been refunded.

There is no communication via social media despite messages and requests as to what is going on - you will be directed to email which rarely gets a response.

Definitely not the way to handle business and there is no thought for the people who have always supported. A lot of ego and superiority, with no understanding of customer service and the real humans who support.

The thought was there originally, looks like pride got in the way, definitely not the Norse-way!

We just came across this old review and wanted to thank you for your feedback and correct a few misconceptions or updates you might have missed.

In 2020 we supported the creation of a community app which was funded by subscriptions, later becoming free for all to access and use. This ran successfully, supporting 16,000 free users from 2020-2022.

In 2022 it became too expensive to run via subscriptions due to a low paying to non paying subscriber rate and in part to dealing with a large volume of cyber attacks and having to manually monitor inappropriate content 24/7 due to not having AI or algorithm software in the app.

In 2022 there was a fundraiser to run the app for the remainder of the year, this was done successfully and the app ran as promised. A second fundraiser in 2023 only raised enough for 3 months and the app closed after this funding ran out.

There were emails, posts in the app and push notifications sent out throughout this process to inform app users. As a brand we also posted updates on our instagram stories.

All subscriptions are managed by the user, through Apple App Store & Google Play. Cancelling subscriptions needed to be done by the user, the App has no ability to do this directly and we have no power to manage people's settings as this is on their Apple/Google device.

We gave plenty of thought and support for the people who have supported the brand in the first place, otherwise there wouldn't have been such an attempt to create an app in the first place which was done at great cost.

The brand's founder personally helped to monitor and work the app manually 24/7 for 4 years. Several times a week at some pointes having to respond to calls in the middle of the night because political groups were trying to infiltrate it or various other user safety issues.

We would have loved to have witnessed the app continue, otherwise we would never have given our name and so much energy to it. Its loss was more painful to us than to anybody else and I hope you give this consideration with regards to the tone of your review.

There is very poor customer service…

There is very poor customer service lately. Lack of communication is very frustrating. I have been waiting for refund for order which the team confirmed already it’s back to their magazine, for over 2 weeks now. Plus there is no news about order placed 1st week of December and still not delivered! No update since January 6th from the team at all! I love their quality and design but lack of update and resolution makes me very disappointed!

We've recently moved to a much larger fulfilment company who are able to seamlessly handle returns and refunds and have a dedicated customer service team on hand.

Orders overseas are now simpler too with a better postal system, pre-paid taxes and free shipping options.

Poor service and terrible wait times

After ordering an item of clothing, 18 days ago I’ve still had no acknowledgment of shipping, I tried emailing the team and got a response days ago to say that it’s normal to wait this long and it can take up to 14 days… now over their given time frame and still nothing. I had a great experience the first time I ordered a few years ago so thought it would be the same, clearly not! Waiting this long for online shopping in this day and age is simply not acceptable, some items may take a little longer as they are hand crafted but there’s no excuse for clothing - FOLLOWING YOUR RESPONSE -this is exceptionally unprofessional, irrespective of the size of the business communication is key! Notifying your customers that there may be a slight delay would be perfectly acceptable. Your response speaks volumes about your attitude towards customers, a simple email to explain the delay would of avoided a negative review and repeat business
Further response: Immature! How about spending less time throwing your toys out of the pram and start dealing with your customers! I trust you will be refunding this order then!

If you don't like waiting for hand printed to order clothing, shop elsewhere by all means. We don't like or want to be a part of the wasteful and abusive practices of online shopping 'in this day and age' and we are a lot smaller than other retailers. For your information the one person printing the orders, by hand, had a personal emergency and fell a few days out of the order window. This happens, because there are HUMAN BEINGS at the other end of your order.

Amazing quality

Amazing quality, prices, and customer service! There was a mixup with my order, but it was quickly and effortlessly corrected! (Also, I’m obsessed with the clothes! Super comfortable and easy to wear. The quality of the material is wonderful!)

Decended from Odin are a fantastic, unique brand, with one hell of a heart. They use responsible materials and focus on their community. Raising money, for charities as well as producing some of the best quality clothing I've seen. Hands down, favourite brand.

This review is largely centered around the awesome customer service team. My local post office didn't let me know my item had been received by them. I knew I had to pay the duty fees, but I was never informed that things had arrived. I followed the tracking but it only mentioned out for delivery. I contacted the customer service team and they coordinated getting my item to me in a very timely manner. They were super kind and informative. Kamila was so helpful. I'm very thankful. I've got my jacket now and it fits like a glove. Thank you to everyone!

Made the order at the end of september. Didnt hear anythin until I reached out to DFO in october, where I was told, that The parcel was sent back and it will be send again. Then finally the parcel arrived on beginning of november. Just to see, that one green hat was missing, probably because i ordered two (second time that DFO did not send two items though I ordered two). Reached out to them and got a quick response, that the missing item will be sent. Until today no response and no missing item.

Since I have bin a client for more then two years, I am really disappointed with the client service recently. Hope you get back to good client service, because I would like to keep buying stuff from you, but not with this hassel.

Update: received the missing item and as well some free patches. Thanks and keep on doing great stuff.
