2021 and the most ridiculous system ever

Uploads kept getting rejected despite using various documents. Finally they said that it's because the documents all have the first name and last name on the same line and the system isn't configured to recognise that. 2021 and the most ridiculous system ever.

This bunch of no hopers are dire

This bunch of no hopers are dire, why does the Government allow rogue traders like this lot to be in existence?
If you fall for their rubbish OR try to join up, well, you deserve all you get AND it will not be good.
Totally disregard this profiteering useless bunch of armature cretins.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
They don't even reply on 'Trust Pilot' to the complaints, THAT SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING.
Avoid Kids, it's a bad site.

What is the point of this company. It is beyond useless. Don't waste your time trying to verify for the gov website, it does not work. Get rid of them.

Absolutely dire

Absolutely dire. Couldn’t even get beyond the sign in. By the time my security code had arrived by SMS, the system said it had expired. Eight times I tried, eight times it said it had expired

I thought this site must have been hacked by Russians

I used this "service" as directed by DVLA, when DVLA said I could not use my NI Number to renew my license - DVLA could not recognise my NI Number! Digidentity was even worse! It could not even find my mobile contract, which has remained unchanged for over 2 years! Digidentity are still sending me requests for "further information". Presumably they want my bank account and PIN. I am not going to oblige.

Worse Service!

Ive been put in the queue for 56 minutes only to be told the helpdesk operators are not available and to use live chat. Spent another hour online without getting any further to resolving my problem. Keeps referring me back to FAQs which is clearly not answering the issue I have.

So frustrated, finally just given up!!

Digidentity and post office…

Digidentity and post office verification services required by government are truly awful. Fill in the form instead. It will be quicker and safer. If you don’t have a mobile then don’t even attempt it. Downloading app on tablet didn’t work either. Don’t waste your time.

Substandard

Substandard, takes ages to fill in and review data, only to continually crash when attempted to download submitted data. Email support, assure theyre looking into it, even go through the monotamous task of verifying to fail.

Worst IT experience of the past 20 years!

The requirement to access the DWP site through this company is like replacing the front door of your house with razor wire and a minefield in order to welcome in more visitors!

First off their site tried to push for a mobile access code to be texted to me. I don’t have a mobile signal where I live so I got in my car and drove to the end of the road to get the text to come through but nothing arrived. I have had to do this before - for other sites who don’t offer a “landline option” (which, ironically, the Government Gateway does!).

So I then downloaded their app onto my mobile (I hate downloading “random apps” but I was getting desperate now - not a good place to be concerning IT security). Their site then prompted me to scan a QR code but this was displayed as a blank box with no code!

Not to be beaten I fired up an old Windows laptop and copied the URL into that to get the QR code to display (the issue was obviously that their site doesn’t work properly on a 9 year old Mac).

I now had the QR code visible to the app on my phone and attempted to scan it in. But...an error message came up saying the phone didn’t have the correct “xyz - whatever” (I was now over an hour in).

Tried to contact their helpline. No go. Tried their FAQs. Useless. Eventually I managed to find the area in their site where I could apply whatever the phone app needed and I got the QR code to scan and I got into the DWP site.

1.5 hours to login thanks to Digidentity.

Then, the DWP site threw up a message saying they couldn’t identify me and to call them on such and such a number.

What an absolute joke. I’ve wasted 1.5 hours of my life. I should have just sat at the end of a call queue for DWP in the first place. It would have been far quicker than logging in through Digidentity!

Never in my life have I had the…

Never in my life have I had the misfortune to encounter such a bunch of useless wasters, they have been told repeatedly to delete my account and all data held but seem incapable of such a simple task!
Over a period of around 3 to 5 weeks I have been in contact with them on an almost daily basis, but still they persist in asking the most stupid of questions when they already have the information before them and now they are asking if I want to delete my Post office account!?!
How are they able to access my Post office account??
My message is loud and clear, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROWD OF USELESS AMATEURS, do not under any circumstances give them any information whatsoever as they cannot be trusted!!
And my account with them is still to be deleted!!

Unusable system

Trying to obtain a pension review and the UK government website suggests using this service for an easy secure access.

It doesn’t work .... at all !

After approximately 30 minutes of registration and I.D checks to complete registration and then logging into HMRC the service asks you to use the Digiauthenicator App to provide an access code ...... I couldn’t access either in any way ..... then tried to call the help centre which was closed for the duration ( obviously no one working from home either )
