Super helpful service by Sam and the family. I was moving and had a last minute idea to seek a company to Digitize my whole life’s photo collection before I went with little notice…I didn’t think it would be possible however I was wrong. Sam reassured me and sent her son to collect the photo collection leaving me 1 box less for us to move! The turnaround was much quicker than I expected, she listened to my needs and was so flexible throughout. I chose to keep some photos and have them returned by post with my digital media and it all arrived so quickly! I also opted for the bulk of my photos to be subsequently destroyed and that too was no issue. Thank you and we will definitely recommend your service to others and use it again should the need arise. So glad I found this company! They scanned our whole families photo and slide collection. Some 5500 images!! I have now got to see some very old images that I have never seen before and more importantly we have shared everything amongst 3 generations spanning 4 countries.

My second time using Digitizemedia. First time was for my personal photos but this time it was for my companies historical photos and slides. We had over 3000 photos and 4000 slides and despite such a big and not so simple order Sam and her family scanned them all to the usual high quality and in less than 10 days. Absolutely delighted to have found this small company that offers good old fashioned customer service. I highly recommend.

The system is machine-driven in that slides are processed first and the results are released on payment. Any checking seems to be left to the client, to find any duplications (an impossibility apparently because of the machine) and any flawed items. In my case of over 4,700 35mm art slides (31 slide boxes with a maximum capacity of 180) there were 92 duplications, 81 slides not processed and 66 flawed results. What really riled me was the devious attempt at a cover-up, no doubt because they were loath to waste time investigating anything awry: in one instance the number in the box was increased, so solving the problem caused by duplications, and in another where there were 69 (sic) duplications the ploy was to leave unprocessed an equivalent 69 slides. When taxed by me the response was a roll call of illustrious clients (The Royal Household, BBC, National Trust etc) so the very idea was unthinkable. It was all down to a simple error. What would a complicated error look like?

I was absolutely delighted with the service and product that I received from Digitize Media. I was moving abroad and needed to carry out a serious downsizing project due to lack of space in my new home and the costs involved in relocating my belongings. It was an incredibly stressful time but the team at Digitize Media went above and beyond to ensure my photographs were in their possession before I left the UK.
I now have 100's of old family photos on my phone and available to me any time I choose, which is definitely preferable to having them stored in the loft and forgotten about.
I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great service and communication before and after the processing. Slides and photos were scanned and returned with the USB in 4 working days which I hadn't expected due to the number that I sent and the varying sizes and quality of the photos in particular. Can now create a family photo book for my husband. Highly recommend and would use again.
