Still awaiting refund

Ordered before takeaway closed email accepted my order accpted. No food arrived called up the next day said order has been canceled and ni charge. Said i would refunded on the 25th March called again on April 7th still nothing!! That is completely wrong after taking your money! Now on the frustrating time of trying to get my money back avoid this company

No refund given!!!

Ordered half an hour before takeaway placed closed normally is ok as they can choose if they will accept the order or not which they accepted followed my orders progress all the way to where it said out for delivery to be called up saying order has to be canceled and ide be refunded in 48 hours nearly 4 days later still nothing!! That is completely wrong after taking your money! Now on the frustrating time of trying to get my money back avoid this company

Not happy at all
I placed an order and advised it'll be delivered in 45 minutes. At the end of the 45 minutes I received a call telling me due to technical difficulties at the restaurant it has closed. This takeaway is open until at least 12am and 2 minutes away from my home address. Caller asked if this was okay and no acceptable compensation was given. Caller asked if I would like to maybe place an order with another restaurant, I said no and he hung up the phone. Very unprofessional.

SHOCKINGLY BAD - AVOID AVOID AVOID

1- after we’d waited over 1hr20mins with no food, we called and the rude restaurant staff said the food was just being prepared at it would be with us in 15 mins. We said it was unreasonable that we’d then be waiting 1hr45 for food. The staff member hung up the phone.

2- we called Dine Order (the app we’d ordered from as per the East Z East website) their team member said the issue was with the driver (so someone was lying). They said they’d call the restaurant and call us back.

3- after waiting the 15mins the restaurant advised it would take for our order to arrive (and no call back), we called Dine Order again who then argued with us over issuing a refund. He then agreed to call the owner of East Z East to get permission to give us a refund (which is not the way the transaction would work as we paid money to Dine Order so, our “contract” is with them).

4- we get a call to say the driver is here, we go outside, no driver (this is now 2hrs10mins since ordering the food).

5- Over 15mins of standing outside in the rain. With numerous calls to and from Dine Order telling us the driver is here (the driver wasn’t here) the food finally arrives 2.25hours after ordering.

Food is stone cold.

6- so we call Dine Order to ask for our refund. They say no because they gave us 2 bottles of beer (that we didn’t ask for). They say we are lying and the food isn’t cold.

The service from BOTH parties in this was shocking and the food was terrible.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered for delivery and just before the restaurant was meant to delivery dine order called to inform me that unfortunately the restaurant had problems and were not able to complete the order therefore would need to cancel. Fair. He said you will be refunded with in 48 hours. It has now been 5 days and still no refund. I have emailed 3 times and gone on facebook chat that someone has read and I have still had no response. Also dont try to call as that just rings out constantly whatever time of day. That's all I need is communication really to tell me what the hold up is. Customer service there is none as I am being completely ghosted. Shocking..

Disappointing - Still waiting for refund...

Placed an order with our local takeaway last Friday only to receive a call nearly an hour later to say they were closed for Eid. The transaction had gone through and we were told the money would be back in our account within two days.
6 days on and still nothing has gone back into the bank.
Tried ringing but just end up in a loop on the phone system.
Edited 10.08.20. Pleased to report that the money has gone back into the account, but should it really take a week when they take it out of your account immediately?

I was down with fever alone with my…

I was down with fever alone with my family situated really far away. I did not have anything at home to prepare. Ordering online from DineOrder was a risky choice, but I took the risks and ordered simple food. It was quite clean and good to eat.

Not really impressed with the food

Not really impressed with the food, service also was not that good, packaging was really really poor. This is a genuine suggestion if you want to compete with the other website you have to work on your food, service as well as website. It should be customer friendly.

Could not recommend enough

Could not recommend enough, have been a business partner for many years now.
The success of all my business is due to the simplicity and ease of use my customers find leading to continued and repeat custom.

If ever I have had any form of even the slightest of problem the calls are attended to promptly by very polite friendly and professional team members.

The system is always updated to meet any form of change of customer demands and requirements. Such as offering customers the option to select “contactless delivery” where by the food is left at the customers door step, this option alone has been taken full advantage of by many of my customers.
