Good quality. Poor Customer Service
The quality of the doors were good, however we had to return a couple of doors, as they were surplus.
We paid £78 for the return. Between Direct Doors and the manufacturers they managed to lose the pocket system in transportation, which resulted in half a refund, after 7 weeks.
Two weeks prior Direct Doors confirmed that the doors were sealed and in re saleable condition, this was also confirmed by the manufacturer.

The quality of my doors is first class; I consider them good value for money; delivery was efficient and on time. In all respects I am a satisfied customer, and if you prioritise quality over price (if not, there's probably a B&Q down the road), I recommend the firm without hesitation.

In reply to Emma from direct doors I think she is missing the point. When you go on this website if you search doors under £170 nothing comes up in the search, when you look at doors and click on doors at £333 and click 2 it then gives the total and then option of buying frame etc. When asking to exchange doors at no time are you told that if you return doors you only get half the value. You are told to pay £75 for collection then to order new doors and then a refund it’s not clear and quite frankly daylight robbery as I said before shame on you

Efficient order processing, good communication. Prompt delivery, only minor gripe is the door delivery was delayed, so an update for that would have been good, given the focus on accepting a delivery time slot. But a quick call resolved concern about delivery swiftly. Would recommend.

Delivered a faulty track for a folding door.
More than a month has gone by and still no replacement. No refund or solution presented. All blame on the manufacturer and no accountability from them as a reseller.
Initial denials it was bent delayed the whole process until I had to take pictures of it against a level.
Sadly the negatives and time wasted out weigh the positives. I would probably avoid them as a recommendation.

Inferior product
Inferior product, dreadful service.
Having spent over £2.5k on these doors I was expecting a better product and certainly better service. The solution is poor because whilst they supply and manufacture the track, they source the doors from 3rd parties, in this case, LPD. This means the product is not designed very well, for example, the area where the bolts fit the door should be precision milled by a machine, instead, you have to route the doors by hand to fit the bolts which my joiner and I thought was crazy. When I tried to return the product, I was told I couldn't return the track as it was a bespoke product. This is despite me choosing a standard size from the website. I was able to return the doors at a discounted price, plus £103 to return just the doors. The track is NOT bespoke and they buy and supply the doors using LPD so I am unsure why I couldn't get a full refund.
I paid about £500-£1000 above the average price of similar products as I liked the design. Having paid a premium I expected to receive good service, but that sadly has not been the case.
My advice is don't buy from a company that does not supply the products themselves, as they are not in control of either the production of the goods or the returns process.

Beware - Faulty door, no accountablility refused to inspect
We ordered a very expensive door for our newly renovated house. The door was delivered a short time before our carpenter fitted the door. When fitting he found the door to be faulty and bent out of shape. We contacted the company and was told by Emma, without any time to investigate or customer service to try and bring some solution in place, it was not their fault and it was our fault and nothing will be done. We spoke to the customer service manager who had already prepared his speech. We asked him to come and view the faulty door but he was not interested. Simply NO and no attempt to try and resolve the issue or to support an unhappy customer. We have paid in good faith for goods and the goods are faulty, We made the mistake of putting our faith in ordering online, we will now only order after inspecting the product ourselves. Very poor communication from Emma who spoke with no compassion. Standard replies to feedback on here, 'Thank you for taking the time to feedback' is about as patronising as we were spoken to today. Our door is distored by 4mm which as a sliding door doesnt work as it catches on the door frames . Emma then quoted British standards which says unless it is 6.35mm its not deemed distored and thats the end of that story!

BE AWARE OF HUGE DELIVERY DELAYS AND DAMAGES TO THE ORDER
I placed my order on the 19th of August, paid £657!!! with a delivery due to 7th of October. While they advertise "delivery as usual" , "NO WASTING of YOUR TIME" "NO RISK", I received two emails regarding delivery delays. The sliding door has been sent out damaged - they tried to deliver today on the 30th of November!!!!
I had to refused the delivery as the door was damaged all around the corners, it looked dreadful. I wish I could provide photos here, but I'll shortly update my review trough Google. I've asked if I can pick up whatever they have on stock by myself so I don't have to waste more time but my request - of course - has been rejected. All response was to be prioritised the delivery of the replacement door... not sure what they meant by that.. I might receive the item middle next YEAR???? I feel Iike I am risking my money with this company. So much for "NOT WASTING TIME" " NO RISK"
