From having the lovely Angie round to quote and advise on how to make the best of an old conservatory to the person experience of a family run business, these guys do it all. Easy to contact the company and a no pressure approach made the whole experience brilliant. We have had a unloved spaced turned back onto a functional room. By simply insulating the roof of our conservatory. Very pleased with then result and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing the same. Thanks again Angie for making the stress off renovating seem a little easier.

Can’t recommend enough!! I’ve had my conservatory for 15 years , and really wanted to give it a fresh new look, I called this company and Angie came straight out, gave me a fantastic quote, the workmen were here at 9am prompt, took them one day to install my new roof, I wish I had done this years ago!! No more noise, it’s warmer!! Nice quick and great service!! Angie even came out to inspect on the day while the work was being done, shows how much care goes into there customers and work.

I had my windows and doors 3 years ago. And now had our new insulated conservatory roof insulation. And what a difference it has made. No longer cold and can’t wait for summer woth it being so much cooler. Same brilliant service as when they did my windows, highly recommend.

We had all our windows and three new composite doors installed, front, back and interior porch. I enquired online and Kevin was there the next day. Kevin was very helpful and not at all pushing us in to a decision like some other window companies. He has also been very helpful throughout the process and come to check as the work has been completed.

We purchased a new composite front door. The sales service was very efficient, Kevin is very informed about their product range. Product and installation were both to a very high standard. Installers were very personable and were very tidy too. They gave some sound advice on one of our old existing windows which had become faulty over time (not supplied by Distinctive I add), new hinges required. They even offered to supply & fit the new hinges free of charge! Awesome customer service.

Certass building certificate arrived by email the week after installation.

Kevin came to our rescue after we had been let down by another company. He came and gave us a very competitive price for a large amount of work and subsequently proved extremely helpful regarding refinements of design and colour. At this point, everything swiftly fell into place. The Surveyor did his job brilliantly and it wasn’t too long before we were given an installation date. All materials were delivered a couple of days prior to this....the delivery man proving to be exceptionally careful and helpful. The fitters, Dave, Luke and Jay turned up good and early on installation day. They were absolutely fantastic......good humoured, so conscientious and exhibited such good skills. They took all the rubbish away, leaving our place neat and tidy.
All in all, the whole process was so slick and wonderfully masterminded by Kevin. You won’t get a better firm than Distinctive Windows and Doors Ltd.

Great company, Kevin came and gave a detailed no nonsense quotation, which was cheaper than the three other companies we contacted, without having to go through the I’ll ask my manager and try to get a lower price!!!!
The fitters turned up and did a fantastic job. Clearing up after themselves.

Excellent service provided by Distictive windows from the initial meeting. The owner of the business Kevin provided a very competitive quotation and made the ordering of the windows very simple. I was so impressed with the service I completed a further order of 2 composite doors. The windows were installed and the finish is brilliant! Don’t look elsewhere, can’t recommend enough.

Received a competitive quote by the owner. Paid deposit upfront,which was unusual. Had to chase for a fitting date. Date of fitting cancelled last minute. Alternative arranged. Window fitters were lovely and very tidy. Problem with window sticking took over a month to be resolved. Asked for receipt of payment, totally ignored. Not FENSA registered. Not happy overall as I had emphasied the importance of noise reduction. Very little noise reduction despite paying extra, as advised, for accoustic glass. I wanted to support a small company. My advice - pay a hundred pounds extra and get better service and better quality from a bigger company.

Reply states a reason for delay of fitting, different from the reason given at the time, namely that the fitter had an "accident " and with hours notice. You stated that Covid had had little impact on your business You talked me into acoustic over triple glazing. You ignore emails asking for a payment receipt. My advice to future buyers -pay extra and get back up from a big company. Rock doors are guaranteed, so I didn't get a free replacement. I got a faulty door replaced as was my rights under guarantee. No certificate received from certass to date either

Very happy with distinctive windows. We had new door, windows, facias and guttering. Great price. Salesman was helpful and informative. The installation guys were efficient and very tidy and did an excellent job. Tried to install in a day but the weather was against them!! So finished the job a few days later. Unfortunately one of the sealed units of glass was damaged but it wasnt an issue because theyve ordered another one and hopefully will arrive soon. Definately worth 5 stars.
