The website was easy to navigate and informative.
The day after ordering Ellie phoned us and checked that everything was okay before confirming the order.
She was also extremely pleasant and easy to understand.

Lots of information on how and when to submit the relevant information for your but the follow up chat with in my case Ellie was essential in order for me to have confidence that the shutters I've ordered will be correct

This is the second order of shutters I've made in a month. I was very happy with how quickly my last order arrived and the quality of the shutters. Fitting them was also very easy and took me around 30 mins, so this time I've ordered another two sets of shutters.

As before, the person on the telephone was very helpful and confirmed my measurements and style choices were correct

Very easy and proffessional

So far our experience with DIY Shutters has been excellent. The sales staff have been very helpful in guiding us through the ordering process, initially Matt helped us and we ordered colour samples and then Ellie took us through the order review and made changes where necessary. Thanks to both.

I've just made my order so can't give a review yet in the actual shutters (I will do that as soon as I receive them) but I would like to express my gratitude to the guys from DIYShutter, specially Alex and Ellie for all your help and patience while in the process of measuring and getting my order correct. It can always be a daunting prospect knowing you are taking a risk on taking all measures yourself, but be assured the guys from DIYShutters will be helping you all the way through this process. Of course is a lot easier having someone to come and do all for you (measuring and installation) if you got plenty of money, for sure go this way but if you are happy to put some time measuring and then fitting this later, with a little diy skill, you will be saving yourself a lot of money.

The interactive web site is a very good place to start, it is informative, clearly giving all the options, styles, configuration etc. showing you the blinds as you build them, The video guides are clear and to the point enabling you to get on with your design. The only bit missing is that if you want 'clearview' then you can have a split in the tilt action.
Because of the window design I wanted I did have to contact the support team via email and I must say the reply was both swift and comprehensive. On placing my order there is a validation process to make sure that everything is OK, this threw up an error which meant a slight redesign of one window as the web site had allowed me to construct a blind that in practice was not viable, The support team suggested alternative designs that would work, a slight compromise had to be made.
Overall my experience was a good one, my only hic-cup was the online system that allowed me to construct something that was not feasible to build, sorted out by the support desk but it was an issue that should not have arisen in the first place, a glitch in the software that needs to be sorted out

Great customer journey experience from customising the order online, proper guidance as to how to take shutter measurements and visualisation of how the shutters could look to a personalised call back check to ensure that the order meets the specifications we envisioned!

I was very pleased with the service provided by DIY Shutters. I was naturally nervous about investing a substantial amount of money by only filling out a form that could easily contain errors. However, the service and attention to detail to ensure all measurements were accurately checked and agreed was justifiable in my opinion. It took a little longer and several calls and emails to get it right but that was time an effort well spent and I was very pleased with the professional approach to get it right. The Customer Service Consultant, Ellie, did a fantastic job and her knowledge and understanding really helped me.
