Had a look round the shop
Had a look round the shop, something we were interested in having didn’t have a price therefore asked the lady at the till what the cost was. No problem at all, we didn’t buy the item in the end but the staff was so nice.
Lots of lovely plants
Lots of lovely plants, wanted a Japanese quince, asked member of staff and she showed me to were they were, healthyl looking plant good size, expensive,I purchased it but when I got to till to pay, I was disappointed to be told I would not get 10% with my club card, there were signs all around plant area saying get 10% off with club card, but it did not say anything about it only applied if you had the higher level of membership ie £12 per year. I was annoyed but still purchased the plants, but I think it's misleading advertising. Hence the 3 stars
Perfect House Plants.
Lovely selection of good quality, well looked after house plants which was just what I was looking for. Also a good selection of pots, compost and ties to compliment my purchases. Lovely helpful staff and I picked up some good advice of how to care for the plants I’d bought and where the best place was to situate them around the house. Well done Dobbies.

Very helpful and polite young lady at the till who provided us with bin bags to cover the root ball. Surprised that there was no delivery service at this garden centre as a lot of items are too big to transport yourselves.

We were waiting to buy a Christmas tree and whilst several staff walked past, not one asked us if we needed any assistance. I eventually went to the tills and asked if there was anyone working there who could pack a tree for us. A call was made through the store and a couple of minutes later a member of staff turned up.

Calendar Search
Had been looking for a Calendar showing views of Swindon and Wiltshire to send to Aunt in Wales. Couldn't find this anywhere else locally but bought a lovely one at Dobbies’s depicting scenes of England.
Store well laid out.

Our visit to Dobbies, Swindon
Our visit to Dobbies Swindon a couple of weeks ago was less than satisfactory. We had a few family issues early in the morning to deal with and arrived at your Swindon branch at 11am wishing to have breakfast. We were kept waiting until 11.35 before being shown to a table, although there were a dozen empty tables and only two people who would share a table in front of us. When asked about the breakfast because we had been waiting since 11am for a table, the waitress went to the kitchen, she came back with they only has sausages and weren't allowed to cook anything else. OK we said then we'll have the toasted sandwiches, choosing ham and cheese, only to be told they had no ham. I just couldn't believe it. Whilst it was not all her fault, it didn't help the first place having to wait 35mins to be seated when there were empty tables. Swindon is nearest to us at Royal Wootton Bassett. We have since used your Cirencester branch without issue and very good service although a little wait, but the staff were working efficiently and as quick as possible. I have just find the email to give my review, because it went into my spam box.
