A high quality front door for a good price
This is a very attractive and well constructed door. It is perfect for a victorian era house and it is not expensive for the quality of its construction.

Horrid customer service and refund process
Horrid customer service. Be warned.
They don’t stock and deliver products themselves and the orders come direct from third party suppliers. When trying to return items they advise that you are subject to the returns policies of their third party suppliers even though your contract is with them. They take far too long to respond and give you some AI generated response. After the returns were delivered I had to chase them multiple times for an update on my refund as they never responded. Eventually they only refunded me in part and alleged that their supplier hadn’t received all the items even though I’d sent photos of all items (at their request) all boxed up before they would even accept the return.
Took another week and more chasers to get refund for the outstanding balance.
Not worth the hassle. Use other suppliers.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. I have had a look into the situation and I can see that the returns were sent back from yourself directly to the supplier. Unfortunately the supplier had advised us that they only received one handle back not both of them.
We just had to clarify that they did receive both back to be able to issue you a full refund on both the handles, which was then later done once we were able to confirm this. As I'm sure you can appreciate if we're told that only one has been received back, we have to investigate this further.

Heavy but I reckon there is a technique to lifting the doors, don’t expect any help from the delivery driver at all. Luckily I had somewhere to store it and strong, it’s just good to know beforehand and be prepared.

I ordered 3no oak doors with a quoted…
I ordered 3no oak doors with a quoted delivery date of 5-10 days which meant delivery should have been made on 2/7/26. Despite me chasing delivery on two occasions, i still do not have a firm delivery date. They never come back to you with an update despite chasing. I am at the point where i will have to cancel the order.
Don't use this company. Shocking communication and they really coudn't care less once they've taken your money.

Abysmal service
I ordered a matching oak door and oak frame for around £1k. What was delivered was not what I ordered. Over 2 weeks later and they still have not resolved the issue. They have however offered me 10% of an additional door. I dont want another door, I just want what I ordered! I'll be avoiding this company like the plague in future.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I wouldn't recommend buying from this company. If you want to waste nearly five weeks of your time, receive damaged goods twice, and then be refused support, then this is the place to shop.
I paid almost £700 for three doors for a new extension, so I expected them to arrive in good condition.
Instead, the first delivery turned up on a standard delivery van, and every single door was damaged. They looked like they'd been dragged out of the van, with splits in the wood and paint chipped off everywhere. Even the delivery driver commented that he couldn't believe how badly they had been packed.
I then had to call the company more than 10 times before they finally agreed to send replacements. Unfortunately, the second batch arrived damaged as well. One door was completely unusable, with a large amount of the paint scratched off. When I asked for that door to be replaced, I was simply told no.
Overall, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience.
Poor packaging, poor customer service, and no willingness to put things right after sending damaged products twice. Save yourself the time, stress, and money and buy your doors elsewhere.

Looking into this situation I can see that we were due to send out replacements and collect the damaged doors for you second time round. However you had disposed of the door that was damaged that was due to be replaced so we can't confirm the damages as we would need to collect this to replace it. Without collecting a damaged door we're unable to deliver the new door to you.
We will always try to sort these situations out and look to resolve it for you. However we are unable to do so if we can't collect the original damaged goods, which I hope you understand.

Ordered the doors at one price then told your suppliers no longer supplied you so I had to pay an extra £22 a door the doors arrived in good order but I think the doors should have been supplied at the original price

Could had been better resolved
Customer service was polite, however I was very disappointed with how this was handled. I ordered Deanta doors for a pocket door installation, only to later be told they were not suitable due to the raised beading. However, neither the retailer’s website nor Deanta’s own product information clearly stated this restriction anywhere.
Despite the lack of clear product guidance, and despite cancelling the order prior to actual delivery, I was still charged delivery/cancellation fees. Customers should not be penalised for product suitability information that was never transparently communicated before purchase.
I would strongly recommend others confirm compatibility directly with the manufacturer before ordering.

I have had a look into the order and I can see that the order was for doors only and the pocket door system would have been ordered from another company, so just from the order placed we would be unaware of this situation and that the doors would be used for a pocket door system.
This is something that we do state on our pocket doors on the website, so this could be an issue with the supplier that you purchased the pocket door from.
In regards to the delivery charge, due to the doors being loaded onto the vehicle and being sent out for delivery before this was cancelled, the delivery charge is still payable unfortunately.
