Really rude sales team and unprofessional service

Really rude sales team. I bought 5 concealers I have always bought from Doris Michaels I advised that one was missing and I received 4 the unprofessional that replied me was so rude and said that the thief took one and left 4 and said Never mind this concealer only cost 7.49 and I do not think that I should be insulted by someone who has no manners. I asked to speak to a manager and no manager has contacted me except this rude sales person. Don’t ever buy from this seller as I did not expect this service after buying from Doris Michael for more than 6 years. Disappointed and unacceptable behaviour

Email received from Doris Micheal with the rude remark- We anticipated (based on our previous experience) you might claim that the package was left on your porch if we sent you the certificate of posting which is what you’re claiming now. You want us to believe that the thief opened the box took out just one item and left the rest of the package ..? Anyway, never mind!

After receiving the email with the rude remark from Doris Michael that was why i sent the email to them saying that they were rude and unprofessional. Can you provide a signed proof of postage that I or anyone else signed for the product as the product was left in my porch and you forgot to mention in your remark that I have always bought from DORIS Michaels SINCE 2018 I CAN PROVIDE PROOF AND NEVER COMPLAINED. YOU CLAIM YOU HAVE PROOF OF POSTAGE AS IT STATED IT SHOULD BE SIGNED FOR CAN YOU UPLOAD A COPY OF THE SIGNED PROOF OF POSTAGE SO EVERYONE CAN BELIEVE YOU THAT IT WAS NOT LEFT IN MY PORCH.

Can you also admit that I have always purchase from Micheal Doris since 2018 and have never complained did you forget that. I asked countless times for your complaint Procedure and it was never sent to me as i should have followed your complaint procedure process.

Read the above sarcastic and rude remark asking that the thief took one and left the rest and Never mind and stating that postage is free but postage is only free if you spend 35 pounds or more.

Asking that i send every thing back for a full refund this does not make sense as i stated that one of the concealer is missing. one concealer cost 7.49 and one concealer is not my problem it is the way it was handled. Why did you refuse to send your complaint procedure or you do not have one.? it is your above rude remark which was unprofessional and rude that made me leave the negative review. I have to let other buyers know exactly what kind of service I received from Doris Michael and I am the last person to leave a negative review please check the other review I have left.

Upload the proof of signed postage then it will become clear that it was not left in my porch but if you cannot provide proof of signed postage then it will become obvious that you were very rude and i still insist that that if you can treat a customer that has been buying from you since 2018 and have had no previous complaints then every one needs to know that your company is a company people need to run away from and not buy from you.

This customer ("Faith Obaseki" - note she herself placed all this information on Trustpilot) placed an order for 5 concealer sticks on Saturday 8th June. We despatched the 'free postage' order, with a complimentary eyeliner, on the first working day, Monday 10th.
She emailed us on Saturday 15th stating the box contained 4, not 5, concealer sticks.

Probably she did not figure that our stock system performs weekly reconciliations and we photograph all despatches before securely reinforcing/sealing the box - see https://ibb.co/3djqYfS and https://ibb.co/7Vp6K5R where you can see that we made no mistake in our packing (for GDPR/DPA purposes, we've redacted her address). We emailed her on the next working day, Monday 17th, attaching these two photos (unredacted).

She responded later the same day still insisting she only received 4 concealers and we must send her the "missing" [sic] one for free.

We emailed her again on Tuesday 18th attaching the unredacted versions of https://ibb.co/KwyV1md, our scanned post office Proof of Sending by registered post, and https://ibb.co/M2nFgmq a photo we took that day showing that the weight of the 5 concealer sticks plus free eyeliner and cardboard box folded flat, but excluding the packaging materials, was consistent with the gross weight recorded by the Post Office. We added that we value her as a customer but that she is mistaken; regretfully we can’t send again a product that was correctly dispatched.

She emailed us on Wednesday 19th acknowledging the error may not be on our part at all, but now saying the package was left on her porch by Royal Mail, and implying someone could have tampered with the sealed box when it was there.

We responded, politely, the same day noting that she had not been charged for shipping and no particular type of shipping was specified, she had not mentioned this porch / tampering in any of her previous correspondence, let alone that the box was opened when she saw / received it. If indeed in these days of widespread CCTV, some robber entered her porch, it would be beyond bizarre they would open the box, abstract one of the six items therein ..... but then leave the box with the other five items still in it. We therefore regretfully did not accept her claim and declined to send her an extra product for free. However, notwithstanding the evolving story, we still wished to be reasonable, so we stated we were happy to refund her in full for the products returned to us with their individual shrink wrap seals intact.

We resisted the temptation to remark that such a considerate or even charitable porch bandit must be a rarity.

The next day, Thursday 20th, we had the following gracious response from her:
"You are so rude saying that the thief stole one and left the others. Who are you being sarcastic too [sic] Are you okay is this how you speak to your customers. Unbelievable who ate [sic] you to write to me and say nonsense. I cannot believe this and you are telling me to send everything back to you. [No, we merely offered it as an option] I cannot believe this you need to go for training. Can you send your complaint process or you do not have one? I need to complain about your unprofessional email you sent. Common sense should tell you to think before you write. Do you think that one concealer would make a difference to me. You did not have to be rude at all"

The one being rude was not us. What she was attempting is the height of rudeness. The time to back down is when we supplied the original pair of photos... The chronology above makes it very clear to the astute reader what had been rudely attempted.

Then appeared the above, outrageously unmeritorious and unfair, fakeview (not review) to punish our hard work, dedication, generosity and reasonableness. Sellers, students etc. beware.... some customers are enough to make decent honest businesspeople give up and lose Faith.

Goods arrived very quickly

Goods arrived very quickly. It was great that I was able to CALL this company and ask a question about the products that I wanted to buy, with the information provided I placed an order and the order arrived within 2 days. The good thing for me was someone actually picked up the phone AND I didn't have to wait ages for someone to pick up the phone, to answer my query. All in all a good buying experience.

This is the very first we have heard of this. Why did you not email, phone or message us on Facebook about any problem? It is most unfair.

As our website says, orders placed before noon on a working day (Mon-Fri) are sent out by Royal Mail Signed For (or Special Delivery, if paid for) the same day; later, the next working day.

We have looked back for more than one year, and have no record of any order, including attempted orders where the payment method chosen failed, from anyone called "Abriana", as either first name or surname, or anything like that.

You provided no other details.

To try to identify you, we looked to see all orders we have received which may not yet have been delivered. Coincidentally, there is only one, posted by us on Monday 29th January (the earliest working day the order could have been dispatched as the order referenced here was placed on Saturday 27th January) at our P.O. at 5pm, before the last collection. However, the name on that order does not resemble "Abriana" at all.

If nonetheless this is yours, which here we will assume, your delivery postcode ends with "6DX" and the online tracking reference, which has been emailed to you, ends in "7430GB". Please check your junk or spam email folders if you did not see the email.

Putting the tracking reference into https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item you can see we have told you the truth.

We do not and cannot control Royal Mail, and their only guaranteed delivery service is Special Delivery next day service, which you did not choose or pay for. We will check the delivery status later today, as you can too using the Tracking Reference you were emailed.

In the very unlikely event the item is lost, of course we will send you a replacement.

We are puzzled why you would wish to damage us by acting so unfairly.

We are a totally honourable and honest company, doing our best. You have hurt us very much by leaving such a "review", and we feel we should not bother to run a business to have our reputation tarnished and ourselves insulted.
