The initial product advice was very helpful, as was the delivery to Ireland. However, I was initially sent the wrong pump - hopefully this was a genuine error and not passing off a cheaper unit than the one paid for. Also, when the replacement arrived it was damaged due to rather flimsy packaging, which didn't look original. The handle was flattened and dislodged and the float protection bar bent, so it must have been dropped or bashed with some force but I was able to correct this and the pump is now installed and working well.

Total layman looking for a pump station for my basement flat, rang up first company that came up on google - pump technology and dealt with extremely rude,condescending and unhelpful man on the end of a telephone that found it very difficult to understand that everyone isn't as smart as him when it comes to sewage pumps. Thus looked elsewhere and Sarah was the total opposite, helpful friendly and willing to spend a few minutes listening to my needs and then recommending a product.

We had a major problem with the build up of biomat which effected the entire sub surface irrigation system. This in turn blocked the outlet of the septic tank, causing it to overflow - Great. After a lot of digging I found one of the outlet pipes and this enabled the septic tank empty to the correct level. This give me breathing space to consult the internet for a more permanent fit. I obviously had to find all the subsuface drainage and remove the biomat, using a rotary nozzle on a powerwash done the trick. And I can across Drainage systems online. And the Residential Water Filter and at under £30 each got two. They arrived very quickly and it was them a matter of getting the tank emptied so that I could fit them. So far, the septic tank has behaved itself, and only fluid is running down the subsurface. Excellent service, excellent product and so glad I came across Drainage systems online.

I bought a Submersible pump that developed a fault,or so I thought.
The company exchanged the pump with no quibbling.Thus ensuring I could get back to the job with a working pump.
I got a call later in day to say I need to clear tank I had submerged pump in as brick chipping had clogged mechanism,the phone call was a warm word of advice and not ire.After all it was not their fault.
This company backed their product up,and gave peace of mind to me.

i phoned and asked all sorts of questions and asked for advise, everyone
i spoke to was very helpfull. The product arrived within days and it has all
been installed. Problem solved.

This company have excellent customer service until things go wrong which they can do with any product. They deliver on time and collect promptly when they have to BUT..... They will not issue a refund. They make you buy a replacement saying that they will issue a refund when the original is returned but will do what they can to avoid refunding. In my case they claim I drilled a hole in the pump! Why would I do that? I can see why they would!.
I have had to begin court proceedings to get my refund.
Pathetic. DONT BUY FROM THEM

I purchased the macerating toilet system with integrated pump. A great product and powerful pump

We bought a sewage pumping station. We spoke to the company first who were very helpful and advised us which system we needed (which was actually less expensive than the one we were going to buy from them). We purchased online which was very easy and it arrived next day. The delivery driver accidentally only delivered half the package and when I rang the company they were quick to sort out the problem and the other package arrived within the hour. We spoke to them about installation and again they were very helpful. I would not hesitate to use this company again and I will definitely recommend them to others.

Not being an expert, I rang to ask about the outside mixer tap and was given such good simple advice that I was able to instruct the plumber on how to fix the tap (he wasn't sure about the product either). It looks neat on the wall and does a super job cleaning down my two dogs after muddy walks. I can recommend Basement and Drainage Systems and will certainly use them again for any plumbing needs.
