Handed it back undamaged
Had a dispute with the guy who wouldn’t return to his office to take the car keys as he was “on his lunch break”. Then because I had a dust up with him about it in the phone he suddenly found a stone chip leading them to price gouge me for £300 ab terrible experience . I will never use them again . - woeful service despite having witness statements to show no damage to the car . A travesty, bandits

Great customer service Ray!
I have used drivalia numerous times and once again I have received excellent customer service, this time from Ray. Despite the customer in front of me being extremely rude to both members of staff he remained very polite and courteous at all times. My process of renting a vehicle was dealt with quickly and professionally and he even connected my Apple play for me. Thank you Ray and well done.

£700 "damage" fee for pre-existing!!
We rented a car for 2 days from Drivalia's Leeds Bradford location. A few hours after returning it, we received an email with damage photos saying we would be charged almost £700. I checked the photos which they'd taken/sent me the day of pick up, and the damage was (fortunately) captured in those, so we won't be responsible for paying. I wish I'd read the Trustpilot reviews before renting from them!

Don't trust the 5 star reviews
They cleverly ask for a review after the booking process, which was fine so don't trust those 5 star reviews
The price felt too good to be true and it was, I paid an additional 120 to avoid having 1500 taken off my card and not refunded for 28 days after, this wasn't made clear by carjet who I booked through
The guy at drop off was slow but pleasant
The guy at pick up was rude and complaining about the company, he made us get a taxi to the airport, and now we have to claim that back
He literally didn't get out of his seat, just took the key, no visual inspection with me (very glad I took photos),

Picked a car up from Leeds airport
Picked a car up from Leeds airport. 1 staff member on duty. Answered telephone calls whilst dealing with customers. Delayed us on our journey by 1 hour. Car was frozen solid with snow. I was handed an ice scraper by another customer to clear my car. Raised complaint online. Manager closed complaint without resolving. Had to raise complaint with regional manager. Fobbed off with poor excuses. Offered 10% discount. Won’t use it as will never book with them again.

Absolutely fantastic service from the guys here I had to hire a van at short notice, great price the best actually compared to other rental agents. Service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and efficient and helpful. Had to extend for an extra day which again was a smooth easy process. Will definitely be using again
