1 had a very good experience with Drivalia Car Rental. The service was smooth from check-in to check-out. A big thanks to Abdullah - he was very helpful, polite, and explained everything clearly, especially the van specs. He made the whole process easy and stress-free.

They let me pay for my rental (plus an additional £240 because I don’t have a credit card) THEN told me the car I booked wasn’t available (we saw someone drive off in it 😂)
They tried to tell me they were giving me an upgrade (shock, it was not an upgrade) and when I refused on the basis of it not being an automatic SUV like I’d booked, they told me I’d get a refund.
I did NOT get the booking refunded because they said I’d declined to take the car.
We will be taking this further, but I would rather warn others before you have to fight to get your money back too.

Do not be caught by Drivalia scammers.
I booked and paid to rent a car thru CarJet, I did not know the car rental company until I arrived at the Drivalia office near LBA. Having paid for the car rental and upgraded the insurance I assumed everything would be straight forward, not so. I was subjected to lots of upselling. I refused everything offered as I would not going very far. I was really pushed to pay extra for a auto for £7 a day even though that was what I was about to get anyway! I was asked to pay £1 in case of any fines I may receive while I had the car. That meant that Drivalia had my credit card details. I left with only the car and no paperwork as everything would be online. When I checked the following day I found that Drivalia had taken £258.94 for Platinum insurance without my consent and the application form had been filled in by someone there with lots of mistakes and copied my signature on three times. I emailed Drivalia and asked for the money to be returned but got no reply. I am 76 years old and presume they thought I would be a soft target for there scam, but no. I left my credit card company to retrieve the money. Beware of these scammers.

Avoid This Company .Arrived at Leeds…
Avoid This Company .Arrived at Leeds Bradford airport ,9am rang for shuttle , told to wait in the yellow shelter. waited for 45min in -3 cold. Shuttle eventually arrived , then hard sell for insurance. Got out of office with car 11.45 . Returned on Sunday morning for 9am flight . Place all locked up had to walk 20mins in rain. Never again

Booking cancelled on Xmas eve
I had used Drivalia several times over 5-6 years with positive experiences. My most recent booking was for 1pm on Christmas Eve. I had paid fully in advance and completed the online check-in. I was in the office at 2:12pm to collect the car but was told that it was no longer available. I was offered an alternative car if I paid several hundreds pounds extra, in addition to what I had already paid, and the car I had already paid for would not be refunded.
It is written in their terms and conditions that they only guarantee a car to be held for an hour after your estimated collection time, which does not seem to make any sense at an airport location where it is presumably not uncommon for customers to be delayed by more than an hour.
I will therefore not be using Drivalia again. Even paying fully in advance and completing the online check-in is no protection against them cancelling your order without refund.
