Stay Away From Drivetime

Most of these reviews are from employees. Do not buy a vehicle from them. In less than a year, my transmission went out. Right at a year, my radiator went out. Now my motor is gone in just at a year. I called the headquarters and local and they basically said ":oh well". They did not care at all. Run, don't walk from Drivetime. They are a scam. I'm protesting in front of their building real soon . As soon as it gets cool. This one is in Arlington, Tx on Collins St. They sell lemons only....

Great Day

OMG, I had the best car buying experience, my sales person Robert (Henry) Birchfield was so professional and made the experience fun, I wasn't there for a long time, he told me what my options where and didn't rush me to make a purchase. I Definitely will be referring my people to him and the team at the Arlington location. It really was a fun day.

I have bought two cars from the Drive…

I have bought two cars from the Drive Time at 821 E Division, Arlington, TX. The salesman was Roddy Escalon. After 60 days, the battery had to be replaced. Three days after that, the car began stalling and losing power. The Drive time people refused to do anything about it. I am done with Drive Time and I will be letting the world know about it on all sites. I am currently following the Lemon Law guidelines in order to file charges. Silver Rock just keeps me on old until I have to hang up.

My experience was a completely horrible…

My experience was a completely horrible show, I ended up going to three different dealership to locate what I wanted. My first choice was located in Temple, Tx after being told they don't transfer car's I asked would gas be given due to me having to travel. I was told YES. This car was sold before my fraud alert was lifted on EXPERIAN, I seen something at the west Houston location, I got there early Saturday morning (03/09/2024) Saleman was SAMMY. After test driving a couple of cars, I wasn't happy. I then went back to DRIVETIME site and found a 2017 Buick Envision out of town, I asked SAMMY to check on it, he then walked off then came back saying someone was currently looking at the car. What he didn't know was I stepped outside to call myself, because I didn't believe him(glad I did). Upon calling I spoke with a manager by the name of Rudy, after telling Rudy what I wanted he placed me on hold to locate the key. After locating the key he then came back to the phone, and said it was there and AVAILABLE. I asked him was anyone currently looking at it, and he stated no. I explained to him I would be coming from HOUSTON, TX to see/buy this particular car. Once SAMMY realized I had called them myself (he was shocked) he stated in order to reserve the car I would need to put the deposit down which was no problem. "I was livid that I was lied too, because that wasn't necessary at all" I then make the 4.5 hour drive to ARLINGTON, TX, to the saleman by the name of FRANCISCO. Who was very dismissive/rude, after asking several question main one being why was my interest rate incorrect. I then showed him the picture I captured on 03/07/2024. FRANCISCO started to get very irritated with my questions, and the fact I was reading what I was signing. FRANCISCO then stated "I didn't have to buy the vehicle", I then told him I was well aware "I didn't have to buy the car". Unacceptable behavior on all levels, after reading everything I then asked about the gas that was promised, FRANCISCO then stated he didn't know about gas, and called RUDY over for RUDY to say they would only be able to do a half a tank. I was referred to DRIVETIME however I won't be doing the same, I've never experienced mistreatment on this level. This is horrible and disheartening to say the least.

Excellent customer service, Roddy was GREAT!

Roddy was very informative and helpful throughout the process. He answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel pressured to buy. He even helped me call around to find reasonable car insurance. I went in to test drive a car , and ended up finding a different car that I fell in love with! I just had to purchase. He gave me all the details on the vehicle , and made me feel very comfortable. I can definitely say I left the dealership happy with my purchase.

Rip off at it's finest

Purchase a car here and paid it off early in great standing. Company kept sending me offers to buy another car with 0 down. My current car needed a 2400 dollar repair so I decided to take them up on the offer as I didn't have 2400 at the time. Long story shirt I git a 2016 fiat that broke down in less than 90 days. I took it to a mechanic and it was an electrical problem that was deemed unfixable. Gap insurance doesn't cover electrical issues and they want me to pay for the tow 145 bucks? Oh yeah and they offer possible reimbursement for a rental. So I'm expected to pay the car not and for a rental that MIGHT reimburse me for? CRAZY! I TOOK OUT A 2400$ loan to have my car repaired. I don't recommend purchasing a car here at all.
