Because it’s the holiday season, I wasn’t expecting they could send someone out same day. They did, and he resolved the blocked drain from the main drain outside. Ash was patient as it was not obvious where the blocked drain was initially. He was polite and cleaned up after himself. All good and set christmas now. Really impressed. Thank you.

This has been one of the most frustrating and incompetent service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. My landlord booked Dyno-Rod to fix a simple sink blockage that also prevented me from using my washing machine. The first engineer showed up, drained the water, and somehow managed to **break the sink lid inside the unit** due to careless work. Instead of fixing what he damaged, he told me another team would come *the same day*. That was a lie—I later received a message saying the appointment was scheduled **two days later**.

When I called Dyno-Rod to ask what was going on, the engineer simply brushed me off and told me to contact British Gas Services, who then asked for details that only my landlord has. No support, no clarity, no accountability.

Two days later, another engineer suddenly arrived **without any notice, no call, nothing**—I had to wait the entire day because they can’t even provide a time window. And then, unbelievably, he refused to do the job because there was “no parking.” The first engineer from the **same company** parked on a yellow line with no issue, yet this one couldn’t be bothered.

The whole experience has been a **complete disaster** from start to finish—broken parts, false promises, zero communication, and absolutely no respect for the customer’s time. Dyno-Rod clearly operates with no standards, no urgency, and no professionalism whatsoever.

Avoid them at all costs.

Having had a problem with drainage for some time now I decided to call the experts. They came out and informed me that the drain was blocked because of a collapse and they repaired that in two days and charged me the agreed price. However a few days later it blocked again they came out again next day and said there was another blockage behind the toilet they then removed the toilet to reveal the limescale virtually sealing the drain they then cleaned this out and replaced the toilet with a new pipe and ,much to my surprise, told me there was no extra to pay. I found them and in particular Darren to be helpful, clean, polite and punctual I would highly recommend them.

My second time using Dyno Rod. I booked online and received a friendly call from the office on the morning of the booking to let me know an engineer would be with me that morning which was great news. Dominic Pirie phoned to say he would be with me within half an hour. He was faced with badly blocked drains but was so positive and reassuring and got on with the job in a very professional and friendly manner explaining everything that was happening. He also explained before completing the work that it would cost more than the standard call out fee as jetting and a camera were required so he made sure I was aware. The job was completed successfully and everything left tidy. Dominic’s service was excellent and it was a great relief to see it completed and to have such a pleasant and reassuring engineer who also included a 90 day guarantee. Thank you very much.

Dom from Dyno-Rod fixed two issues for me on his visit, the second was a big one - water coming from the bathroom into the hallway. He was fantastic - and given the awkward arrangement of the existing pipe work, he had a plan A, B, C and D to solve it. Dom was friendly, confident and professional - thanks Dom!

I needed an emergency call for a blocked drain. It wasn’t apparent that there was an issue until the contents of the drain was backing up across the patio. The engineer was with me within two hours. Patrick was very competent, friendly and reassuring. Showing me exactly where the blockage was so I now understand the layout of the waste pipes should I have a similar problem in the future. The customer service team were also very friendly and reassuring giving a clear cost explanation so no nasty surprises. Very satisfied.
