He quickly sorted it out and checked all was working well. He also had a look at my kitchen cold tap and eased the problem, advising me on future steps. EXCELLENT!!!..Have two visits last week,first by Clarence to replace corroded sink plug,phone me in the morning to let me know when he was going to arrive and did so,replaced plug,cleaned up and left bathroom clean.
While he was with me I asked him if he would check our water tank as I thought it was leaking, DIDN'T turn around and say "sorry can't it's not on my job sheet" just said no problem, the tank was leaking and instead of guessing phoned another engineer that deals with water tanks to get advice, was advised that tank would need replacing, Clarence before leaving phone the office to arrange replacement .
Same day in the afternoon the office phoned me to say if i was available they could book me in to replace the tank on Thursday,2 days after problem being reported, I was going to be home so I booked it.
Thursday morning had call from Michael to say tank and everything needed was going to be delivered by 9 o'clock, but he'd be here at about 8 to start and he was..no messing around got straight to it,advised me I'd have cold water to kitchen tap(separate feed because of watersoftner)but no hot water,when the old tank was taken out he even cleaned the area before fitting the new one,made a love job of the replacement, all pipe work lovely and neat,the old tank and all the packaging was left on the drive and was picked up about an hour after he finished, but he advised me that was going to happen.
Have had multiple call outs through my British gas home cover and have found ALL DYN0-ROD engineers to be courteous,professional and knowledgeable..thank you.
Would definitely RECOMMEND.
Good engineer, just not great customer service
Appointment was booked for between 8am & 1pm. Engineer didn’t arrive until after 3.30pm for which I had to make 3 phone calls to find out where he was. I have no issue with being late, I fully understand jobs run over, however a courtesy call to let me know what was happening would have saved a lot of frustration and a waste of a day. Engineer (Anthony) arrived to fit a new tap. Was advised I could pay extra to have a different tap fitted instead of the standard one and was shown the options. I was going to choose a different one until I was told it would then have to be ordered and a new appointment booked to come back and fit it. Having already lost one day, I didn’t have time to go through it again. Again, had someone contacted me in advance and advise that different options were available, I would have quite happily chosen and paid in advance. When I declined the offer, I then had to wait while the engineer went to the local screw fix to buy a standard tap. More time added to an already very late appointment. Anthony was very good and no complaints about his service. Just frustrating that no one could make a 30 second call to let me know the engineer was running late.
