Anthony attended to us today to resolve the problem of possible blocked drains. Anthony contacted us beforehand to advise a time of arrival. He was extremely courteous throughout, extremely clean and very helpful in locating the manhole.
Anthony was very informative about the issue.
The whole experience has been a pleasure from start to finish.

He was here within an hour, nice chap, knew what he was doinf - got on with the job. Drain sorted, no messing about.

On 7/5/25 your operative cleared a blockage at the base of downpipe but did not use a camera to check our underground drain which your second operative found on 10/5/25 was cracked & was also blocked. We were charged an additional fee for the camera. This should have been checked at the first visit.

Worse than diabolical. Called on a Friday afternoon for an emergency visit and agreed to the £236 fallout charge for just rodding a drain, were 100% promised same day (Manhole lid floating due to a bloackage caused by run off from a neighbouring drain that shouldnt have been diverted our way - we have a cess pit). Engineer rang about 2 hrs later to say he wouldn't be able to make it till at least midnight as he was inundated due to a colleague being off sick. We were sympathetic and agreed to him coming in the morning instead. Heard nothing around the 11am time when Andrew was supposed to have arrived. He finally rang at gone 4pm, no apologies from him just to say did we still want him?!!! Moaning that he had to come from Leeds. Of course we said yes. I explained that one end of our road was closed due to the leak as the road was awaiting repair so he would need to approach from.the other direction. He was really annoyed and said he was just following his sat nav. An hour later I picked up a missed call and rang him straight back. No reply, tried 3x. Thought it was odd and rang the office. Only got through when I reverted to the new callout option. Ahmed took my call and was polite but completely unhelpful. Rang the engineer and came back to tell me he had tried to call but had got no reply. At no point during the day were we out, this was an emergency! He didn't ring the bell or knock so how.were we to know if he called? I'm still convinced he never even called, just decided not to come. No card left or anything. Rang round and found a local provider instead. Shocked and disappointed- had heard only good things of Dyno-Rod in the past but beware they're now a subsidiary of British Gas and BG calls get priority even if you are paying extra for same day callout- they told me this themselves. David Faulkner is area manager I've discovered online so will be trying him next.
Update - posted under East Midlands where I live, they responded to say call the office and informed me it was Yorkshire who dealt with this one!! Ref DY-WO-5061039. Still no closer to a resolution or even an apology.

Booked an emergency appointment for a blocked exterior drain. Was told someone would be there in 2-6 hours. Received a call from the plumber towards the end of the time slot informing us that his colleague was off sick from work so the plumber couldn't get there that evening and asking if we would be ok for him to come the next day because he had too many jobs lined up and couldn't realistically get to them all. We agreed, then the next day it gets to 4pm with no contact so I call and ask where they are. Plumber finally gets to us around 7PM and sorts the problem. Plumber was professional and swiftly solved the problem. I cannot stress enough that this wasn't the plumbers fault. Dyno-Rod taking on more jobs than their employees can handle resulting in us waiting 27 hours for an emergency call out we were told would be 6 hours at the latest.

Plumber himself was excellent, but won't be using Dyno-Rod again. £275 for an emergency job that came basically a full day later than we were told it would be when we booked it. If you can't handle that amount of jobs with your workforce, you shouldn't keep accepting bookings and offering time slots you have no hope of keeping.

Absolutely terrible service came out and caused internal damage that they planned to rectify, needed to come out again booked and didn’t turn up, booked again didn’t turn up again! Tried to call 24 hour number no answer absolutely appalling service!!! Avoid!!!

Was given a 8am till 6pm no feed back or updates even when calling later in day to get an update. Still never arrived unto 2 hours after the latter part of the day £200 for a 10 min job but had to wait in all day and just was fobbed off. Stay clear find a reputable local plumber drains service. However job was done quickly and reasonable. Bit the pre service very poor and service level poor

Really polite and respectful chap turned up to do the work, gave me notice when he was arriving and arrived on time.
Got the job done quickly and gave good recommendations to stop future problems

Plumber rang early morning so I’m prepared in time for visit , on arrival the plumber k Rhocks told me straight what the best option would be and was very helpful credit first thing in a morning .

The service was amazing they came the same day and fixed the issue and it wasn’t pleasant! However Anthony the technician was amazing and very friendly and did an amazing job !

Engineer was awesome - identified issue and sorted it very quickly. Cleaned the mess too. It will make a massive difference to my life now. Thank you.

We had a blockage at our property and decided to call Dyno Rod .. a reputable company. They were very helpful and professional on the telephone. They gave us a rough time and date. They kept me informed of their approximate time which was helpful. The guy who attended was very professional and managed to clear the blockage and hosed down the area afterwards leaving it clean.
Would definitely recommend if you require any drain problems rectifying.

Easy to sort appointment, the guy who came friendly and efficient. It was not a drainage problem in the end but identified problem and hopefully can get it sorted.
