Bought several thermo-hygrometers

Bought several thermo-hygrometers. Temperature is accurate to within 1 degree C. But I've observed differences of up to 6% RH between the different units when they're sat right next to each other. This lack of accuracy is disappointing.

Our technical team has advised that the difference in humidity readings you’re seeing is likely due to normal sensor tolerances. Each unit’s humidity sensor has a range of around ±5% RH, and small differences in airflow or placement can also affect results. Even when devices are placed close together, tiny variations in temperature, air circulation, or exposure to nearby surfaces (walls, furniture, or windows) can cause slightly different humidity levels to be detected.

It works well and cools the room…

It works well and cools the room effectively, but one thing that needs improvement is that the hose always gets disconnected from the air conditioner

Recommended

The website is easy to use and pertinent information simple to find.
I was buying a dehumidifier for my son's flat so the box won't be opened until Thursday as it is his birthday present. The model was recommended by a friend who lived in Manchester - one of the dampest parts of the U.K. - and he has run his every day for several hours without any issues.

Ordering online was great but delivery info not really adequate.

The ordering process was fine, the detailed spec online was comprehensive and very much appreciated, but the delivery could have been better. All I could see online (I was out) all was an abbreviated name that meant nothing to me. The address delivered to was "residence" but it was not at my residence. It would have been better for me if there was a full name and the first line of the address.

Quality, genuine product, quickly delivered.

Quality, genuine product, quickly delivered. The Dehumidifier machine we have has been used since 2014 and so, when we needed a new filter, we were concerned that it may not have been available/deleted. However, EcoAir provided the identical filter (to match our domestic-use Dehumidifier). Great service, and, of course, after 10 years of using the machine, the build quality demonstrates that EcoAir is an expert in the industry. When it comes to buying a new Dehumidifier we will review EcoAir's products first. Thanks.

delivery

My dehumidifier was delivered ok but I was disappointed when after I had paid for the item I then received a request for £18 to cover delivery. On the website it said delivery, postage and packing free of charge. If there was an extra payment then I feel this should have been on website or at checkout. They did know my address and postcode then. I do live on mainland Britain.

To explain, our courier classifies your postcode as part of Zone 2, which they label as outside mainland UK. Unfortunately, this incurs a surcharge of £18 that comes directly from them. The option to select this is available at checkout with lis of postcode which have different charge, but we completely understand that it could have been clearer. We’re already working on improving how this information is displayed so it’s more transparent for customers in the future.

DC26 promises to match my old DC02

I bought the new DC26, over 11 years after buying our still working DC02. EcoAir doesn’t create much noise on the Internet or social media but neither does the new DC26. The unit does its job perfectly without fuss.
I considered other manufacturers based on online reviews but ultimately decided to stick with a tried and tested British company.

Excellent customer service

After my unit developed a fault after 10 years use, I was pleased to be able to chat over the options for servicing or replacement with a technical engineer, Aaron, who answered all my questions promptly and knowledgeably! My unit is back working now but I won't hesitate to replace it with an EcoAir at the end of its life.

Excellent Dehumidifier and service

I ordered the Dehumidifier unit, which arrived on time and it was nicely packaged. As requested it was placed in my safe place at the rear of the house as we were out at the time of delivery.
The unit works very well altho' I do find the operation instruction and control buttons etc, more difficult to use than the previous model I had.

Easy to order. Came within 3 days ,all correctly packed.
Very impressed with how quiet the actual fan is during the night .
