My Ford Transit ABS unit failed and the dealer wanted $1,800 to replace it. Found ECU Testing online and chatted with them. Was impressed with their offerings, but doubtful because I lived in the USA. I went ahead and packed the unit, filled-out the order form, printed-out my prepaid DHL shipping label and dropped-off at a local pick-up point. Two days later ECU contacted me, they had the unit and it was being tested. A few days later I was notified that the unit was being repaired. Three days later it was back in my hands! It works perfectly and there was No Reprogramming required! Total cost $360. I highly recommend ECU Testing, they are fantastic!

Not impressed.
Sent my ABS pump in for a repair & promptly received the "repaired" unit back.
Fitted the pump, same issue.
Contacted ECU testing & received a phone call from a technician who said the codes I had would be related to the wiring harness or the ground/lives.
After much messing about & testing everything, I bought a used ABS pump, I've managed myself to get it coded to the car & it works.
So on this occasion, the pump I sent off to be repaired was quite obviously not repaired.
Not much I can recommend about that is there?!

Had my ECU back in a matter of days when I needed it the most. Well packaged when I got it back. The process was easy to follow and plug-and-play upon return. Will definitely use again - thank you.

When contacting Ecutesting and explained my issue with my airbag ecu, they knew exactly what was going on. They went through the process of what would happen and pricing. So I set up an account and sent off my ecu. You are kept up to date at every step of the way via email. Once the works had been completed an email for payment was received, once the payment had been made the ecu was dispatched back to myself with a lifetime guarantee via DHL and received the following day. From start to finish this took 6 days but a weekend was in with the six days. Ecu refitted and no issues, thank you ecutesting for a fast and efficient service, will always recommend 👍

we have had 3 cars this month and all 3 still here. we sent now for the 4 time the ecu,s still coming back with the same issues and they don't wont to refund the money that we can send it to someone else. i used them for many years no problem but for last year everything gone wrong with them.

'ECU Testing' were very clear and precise from the very beginning. The unit was picked up prompt which was arranged by them and was very simple process.
the work carried out was precise, clean and very professional. the return of the repaired unit was taken care by them and arrived as advised.
Procedure for installation and set up was sent with clear and precise drawings. only one problem arose as the solenoid setting figures did not match the unit Part Number precisely and had to try both configurations to get it right. It would be good to have it the correct setting figures for the unit repaired to save time.

I needed to fix a mechatronic issue, so I provided them with fault codes and a description of the error. They received it on Monday, and it took them 9 working days just to test it. I kept calling for updates, but all I heard was that it was in the lab. In the end, they claimed they had fixed it, but gave no explanation about what was wrong. As we’re still getting the same error, we decided to replace the entire clutch, assuming the unit is working. Yes, they provide a warranty, but for what purpose? Another two weeks of waiting?

They might be a legitimate company, but my first experience with them has not been encouraging, and I will definitely not use their services again.

I must say these guys are great!!! I was not able shift out of park. I had my vehicle towed to my mechanic (now former mechanic) and after a week of troubleshooting, they pinpointed the issue to the Shift Module and quoted me over $2600 to fix it which consisted of ordering a new one and having it programmed for my vehicle. I had my car towed back since I thought their price was exceedingly high. I did some research and found ECUTesting. What a godsend. After completing their online test form, they determined they could fix it (i.e. rebuild). They emailed a shipping label and with the help of their video, I was able to easily able to remove the unit. After approximately 2 weeks (I'm in the states), the rebuilt unit arrived at my home. I reinstalled and an PRESTO, it worked. All this occurred during the the first 2 weeks of September. It's now the 2nd week of October and I have no issue. Definitely worth it since the cost was only $290. WOW!!

Ecu testing is super reliable and super efficient with the work they provide. The form is quick and easy to fill out and the waiting time is quick! One tiny issue is the website is a little slow at times other than that i would happily recommend ecu testing.

Sent my ECU of for repair after the initial communication staing they received it and is in que to be looked at I later received a second message stating it has been assigned to a tech, this is where it all stopped I herd nothing else for the week apart from when chasing myself looking for a update. On 2 seperste occasions I was told diffent things but in the finally on the 3rd occasion I was told it was fully tested and yes there is a fault and if I would like to go ahead with the repair, I agreed and was told it would be given back to the tech and repaired. Overall it took from ecu testing receiving my to getting it back just over a week, yes lead time was around 2-3days however I am grateful for the repair and apart from the delay and lacking in communication I can not fault the people or service from Ecu Testing and would strongly recommend them maybe just give yourself the extra time.

So the 2-3 business days turnaround is a lie. Zero communication while ecu was with them for nearly a week. Despite chasing just got the chat bots giving no actual answer. Then to be called telling me the unit is dead (why did I send it in then???). They can't repair it and can't replace it. Absolutely useless and zero communication. Use as very last resort people.
