I’ve been to Eden Mobility in Mansfield today and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a shop. Paul Wilson he was so funny and friendly but the best bit was after we had filled the form out (personal details) and disability issues, that was it my disability’s were not mentioned again. We talked about everything and everything he let me try any scooter up and down in the shop he put one away and he got it out for me again. I even got to shout a hello to his boss on the phone lol it was all first names. I choose my scooter and Paul did everything he could to make sure I was happy with it and the service HOW COULD I NOT BE Thank you Paul Thank you Edan.

Paul was busy serving another customer but greeted us and offered us a seat. My Dad was looking to purchase a mobility scooter. Paul asked us open questions so that he could show us scooters that would meet our requirements. He explained the differences to my Dad. After a couple of test drives Dad made his choice. Throughout the whole process Paul was really patient and answered all our questions. He made the whole process a pleasure. Thank you.

As myself and partner walked unto the shop we was greeted with a big smile , we had a look round as Paul was with another customer, once he was finished he came over and said are you looking for a scooter as he remembered us from last time we was in the shop.
I explained what I wanted and how much I had to spend he brought a scooter out and took his time to explain the scooter.
Paul said I could take it for a spin round it felt so comfortable he shown us how it breaks down and to go into the boot of a car we brought the scooter thank you Paul

A big thank you to Paul Wilson for guiding us through the entire buying process for my dad’s new mobility scooter. We initially visited the store but a suitable scooter wasn’t available so he sourced the right one using the requirements we’d set out. A home delivery was advised but we couldn’t get the times to suit (Saturday only) so quick thinking Paul decided to get the scooter delivered to the Mansfield branch where he personally ran through the whole demonstration so we left completely informed about the scooter and it’s capabilities.
Throughout the process there was no pressure for a sale, you can clearly see Paul is a people person and will do anything he can to look after you. Five star service!
Posting this on behalf of my Auntie to share her experience dealing with this company.. ALERT it's not very often that I have a rant on here, but here we go. And it's quite a long rant, but please read until the end you might benefit from it .I have my sister Jaynes (God bless her) mobility scooter that had got a fault on it, arranged for EDEN mobility to come out and have a look, £80 call out fee ,no problem. The engineer told me I needed a new motor and a magbrake , all strange to me, and it was going to cost between £750/£800, but if I wanted to part exchange it, he was willing to give me £100, bearing in mind, the scooter was £6000 new.l was seriously thinking about having it fixed.
Then decided to call another company called DERBYSHIRE MOBILITY fr Matlock. The engineer came out, but this time only £50 call out fee, and while he was here, he mended the scooter. It was a sensor on the steering, and it cost me nothing to have it fixed because it just needed altering with a screwdriver, and it took him two minutes. I rung EDEN mobility and spoke to a service manager and told him what had happened, to be quite honest he was very very rude and obnoxious. He couldn't understand why I was complaining, and his words were ,what do you expect me to do about it! What I expect is an engineer to diagnose the correct fault, not one that's going to rip me off for £800 !!! So please, if you or you know anybody that has got a scooter with any problems I advise you not to contact EDEN MOBILITY as you too might get ripped off. The manager needs to get a different job as he is not very good at dealing with the public and the engineer needs to go on a course to learn about scooters and what is wrong with them, and the customer service is absolutely horrendous. So EDEN MOBILITY shove it where the sun doesn't shine.(you didn't get my £800) You should be ashamed of yourself trying to con people out of there money and it just makes me sad to think how many other vulnerable people you have probably done this to! PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. EVEN IF IT JUST SAVES ONE PERSON BEING RIPPED OFF, ESPECIALLY THE OLDER GENERATION.
RANT OVER.
Had no cause to get anything from the shop before. Wanted a grabber for things I cannot reach. Went in 2 shops before I got to Eden. Had a grabber for a long time and it has worn out. The new one seems and looks ok. Not used it yet.

Paul from mansfield store is always helpful whenever you got in even if it's just for advice
Just to say a huge thank you to Jamie Green. We popped in today after some unsuccessful trips to other mobility stores and Jamie listened to mums needs and we left having bought a power chair - something we’d never considered but is perfect! Thanks Jamie, we appreciate what you did for us.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff, nothings too much trouble, will certainly recommend to friends and family.
