As I already own a set of Kuroi Hana knives and steak knives I am very impressed with my new Kuroi Hana cleaver knife, beautiful design, very sharp, and shipping took much less time than I expected. I love it!

I have had good experience with you in the past, however I ordered some items mid november and have had little information as to what is happening. I received an email telling me one of the items i ordered was not in stock and if i was happy to change, i said i was however i heard nothing after that. I have tried to contact customer service from two separate email addresses and i have sent it to all of the email addresses i could see on the website and i have still heard nothing in return.

Bought a knife set for Christmas , was emailed a tracking number that didn't work. Emailed about this twice before someone got back to me , still haven't received a working tracking number ..or my knives. Wouldn't purchase again.

No problem with the order. Shipped and arrived as promised, well packaged. Notifications sent in a timely manner. Everything as expected. The standard four knives set is pretty much as expected and generally corresponds to the price - the design is a little 'different'. I reserve such epithets as 'outstanding', 'awesome' and 'super' (with words like 'cool' not being part of my vocabulary) to something that indeed is, which it is not - though it is indeed a somewhat nice effort to present something more than just a sharp piece of metal attached to a piece of wood. I liked the feel of knives in the hand - they have a good hefty balance. Blades came rather sharp out of the box, though not the sharpest knives there are. The latter is understandable due to moderate at best the quality of the steel the knives are made from - its relatively soft Chinese steel. Nowhere close to the set of Shun knives I have. But those are appropriately more expensive. On the positive side its ok to be less 'gentle' with these knives - they will not break that easily but would be easy to sharpen, just need it more often. The only somewhat disappointing is bread knife - the blade is not really well designed, it will not cut bread well, not even close to $17 Mercer knife which slices any bread like a butter. But it could be useful for some odd jobs still. Overall it all works fine for me and will work for anybody who is an occasional cook, for everyday kitchen tasks, while fitting well in contemporary stile kitchen.

A stunning Knife that cuts effortlessly through most things.
It’s a lovely weight and balance. I personally like to use the 15cm knife for almost everything. The rock in the blade is ideal for chopping herbs and the point makes crushing garlic easy. Hopefully this knife will last a long time. So far I’m looking for any excuse to hold it in my hand it’s so comfortable.

Packaging was marked pretty badly which is annoying as it was meant to be a Christmas present....

Can not really comment on the knives because they are for a present. What I can say is the ordering process was simple the delivery was incredibly quick and the presentation of the knives is lovely.
