Amazing trip! Tour guide stepped over some times marked "expert tour" that wasn't necessary when the same tour was given the next day, but overall, a tremendous opportunity.

Amazing experience!
Our European tour was an incredible experience from beginning to end! As someone who has traveled with EF before, I was especially impressed with how well this itinerary worked for middle school students. The pace was perfect, busy enough that we experienced so much, but manageable enough for students to enjoy each destination without feeling completely exhausted. We loved seeing so many iconic sights across Europe, but some of our favorite experiences were the activities that allowed us to experience each destination in a more memorable way. The canal cruise in Amsterdam and the river cruise in Paris were both fantastic ways to see the cities from a different perspective. Our students also loved the hands-on experiences, especially making chocolate in Belgium and the interactive Harry Potter experience in London. Those unique activities added so much fun to the trip! I also felt that the food options had improved from some of my previous EF tours, which was a pleasant surprise. Our hotels were all nice, comfortable, and conveniently located, without being too far from the city centers. A huge part of what made this trip so fabulous was our Tour Director, Bram. He was absolutely wonderful! He connected so well with our students and adults, kept everything running smoothly, and helped make the entire experience fun and stress-free. Having a great Tour Director can truly make a difference, and we could not have asked for a better one. From iconic landmarks and beautiful cities to river cruises, chocolate making, and Harry Potter, this tour offered the perfect combination of sightseeing and interactive experiences. It was an amazing adventure for our middle school travelers, and I would absolutely recommend this tour to other student groups. Five stars all around!
We spent way too much time on buses because we were put in hotels so far outside of the city. With the the high cost of the trip for each participant, the money is better spent on nicer hotels in the cities we visit and less time on a chartered bus. Also, the lack of choice in dinner items was terrible. There were dietary restrictions and preferences that were not honored, so that was frustrating. At least give a choice of 1-3 items. I watched many kids just not eat because of the item served and that's not healthy and resulted in them having to spend more money to find something they could eat later. The very early morning required breakfast timing after late nights was brutal. People need a full night of sleep after a full day of walking and activities and I found most of the group absolutely exhausted most days. Our tour guide, Yonas (from Greece) was truly the BEST. He went above and beyond to be helpful and was so patient when curveballs came our way. He was one of the best parts of the entire trip and I don't know what our group would have done without him. He is a delight and I wish him all the best.

Our accommodations are selected based on group size, safety, and itinerary logistics, and we understand that distance from city centers can add to the sense of fatigue after a long day. Our trip was well planned. We visited so many famous sites. Our tour hide was incredible.
Magnificent
The planned activities were great! but there were so many that we always had to rush from place the place and I felt like I didn’t get to enjoy each one. Unfortunately I was there during the very hot time and only one of the four hotels we stayed in had working air condition. One did not have it at all, and the other 2 the air conditioning was not working.
The visit to all the cities was great with the exception of staying overnight in Brussels. That could have been a stop for a few hours then travel on to Paris for more time in Paris. Outside of the city square, Brussels, did not feel safe to explore. We would have loved to have stayed more city center instead of an hour or more outside of the city. That took significant tour time sitting in traffic for an hour and a half or two hours to get back to the city for tours and site seeing. Our tour guide was fantastic!
There were too many surprises with costs and schedules. She didn't get to see the Louvre or Eiffel Tower, and the motels were remote . . . Two did not have AC.

My son took the trip. He had a great time, saw lots of sights, had great downtime. It was a safe way for him to be independent and traveling abroad for the first time alone. Great cities!!
