Every trip or tour required a tip, which should been in the price of the trip!!

Overall, the drip was an excellent experience for students. The guided tours were great and the students were immersed in the history. Each guided tour expert was very knowledgeable, engaging with students and they clearly enjoyed it. On the other hand, there was lots of free time but we could not see shows in London because they started too late and dinner was always at 5pm. I think we could have gotten a better experience being closer to the city so that we could visit other sites, see shows and other things that happens in the evening. Most of the teachers wanted their students to see additional sites but time would not allow. There were no restrooms on the bus and that can be problematic for longer rides. Ensuring students and adults have relieved themselves is extremely important and can prevent delays. Overall the food was okay. There were a couple nights where it was disappointing because it was a repeat of the night before, we did not have options to get something else or the food may have been cold. The flight into Amsterdam was extremely long and we were exhausted but we had to go straight to a tour and had 5 hours of free time to walk around. After two hours, our students found a spot and fell asleep in the central station, we watched over them. After getting over the initial excitement of being in Amsterdam, our bodies shut down and we desperately wanted a shower and sleep. Overall, this is an experience they will never forget and they stated they will definitely do another one.

The tours were great, and the guides were informative, helpful, and fun.

We had such an amazing experience as Robby, our tour director, took us through new countries for my students. Their experience showed by the looks on their faces - awe.

Overall it was good. The pros were that they hit the high points of those countries and you traveled in the relative safety of a group without standing in line. The reasons I would not go again include that they do not give the children adequate time to rest, they nickel and dime you, the food was lousy and when there was a heat wave they would not relocate to a hotel with working air conditioning making for some uncomfortable stays. The shady part of EF Tours was that the tour director was shaking down our children’s teacher who was the tour guide for more and bigger tips for everyone who came in contact with us when tipping isn’t even a thing in Europe. He would bully her and say “you didn’t like the service?” - and then the bus drivers wouldn’t haul our bags and gave attitude.

Excellent tour director. She dealt with a lot of issues for us and was fantastic. Great food. Great sites to see.

What an amazing experience! From beginning to end this trip exceeded expectations. Favorites were chocolate making class and watching the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Our tour guide and local guides were knowledgeable and top notch. Loved this itinerary!

It was nice to see so much in one trip. We were well-prepared beforehand. The way they run things felt safe (we had someone who knew where we were at all times) and yet we still had a good amount of free time and flexibility - in order to rest or explore additional interests.

Loved everything about the trip. Our tour director Lewis Irvine was absolutely the best

Not for us. Too much time spent driving around on a tour bus. Hotels were not centrally located and generally tiny and dirty. Programs felt rushed with the exception of the 2 days in Amsterdam. The day spent in Belgium was a waste, as we were shuttled into a chocolate making shop for two hours instead of visiting key sites of Brussels. It was a waste of time, and a messy one, as we had to carry these boxes of melting chocolate around with us after the visit. Hotel in Paris was an Ibis, dirty, tiny rooms and outside the periphery of Paris, an unsafe location and it took 30 minutes to get into the center of town, more time wasted on the bus. Parents complained about the rush through Paris by bus; having taken 6 hours to get from Brussels to Paris, then a 2 hour visit to the Louvre, and then dinner in a drab, very non-French restaurant. None of the meals on the tour were authentic to the country, but cheap and tasteless. The guide was disorganized and rude to people for no apparent reason other than his poor planning and nervous demeanor. The tour leader just sat back and let the other teachers do the work and the guide, without contributing any guidance or help at all to students or parents. With the exception of the two days spent in Amsterdam, the rest of it was rushed and poorly planned.

This is my second trip with EF and I enjoyed this one as well but I do have a little feedback that may help. First, I would give up the night in Brussels to have more time in Paris. I wish Brussels had been a two to three hour stop before heading to Paris for the rest of the day. Second, the schedule built for the Paris leg of the trip absolutely did not account for Parisian traffic. We stayed an hour outside of the city and the horrible traffic had us late to our destination each time we moved from one place to another. We were 30 minutes late to the Louvre and when we got there we spent another hour in line because EF had not purchased groups tickets for us but individual. We watched groups that arrived after us go into the museum before us because of this mishap. Being late to our appointments also caused us to lose the majority of our free time in Paris. This was not something that simply leaving earlier would have corrected because the drivers in the EU have strict policies that have to adhere to in order to ensure they had the required amount of rest. So we began each day as early as we could taking into account these policies. There needs to be a general revamping of the Paris part of the trip. Our London experience was much more laid back especially because our group leader built in the extension so we had four days to explore London rather than the one and a half of Paris.

From the beginning to the end, the attention to details was greatly appreciated. EF was very thoughtful of the students’ needs. Highly recommend EF for once in a lifetime experience.

European Quartet - this was an incredible experience with lots of hands on learning and adventure for my students. Hotels, food, flight arrangements were all wonderful. Traveling during a pandemic was a challenge but EF was able to make sure we all had a great time and stayed safe on tour.
