The tour guide Carlos made it very enjoyable

Our our tour guide was amazing her name was leonora but the food included in the package and the fact the first hotel in Italy had no hot water during our stay was a bad experience

EF Tour Directors did a great job maximizing our time, staying on schedule, and adjusting when rain impacted our activities. Simone and Marco Ceglia were phenomenal! With a group of 80 going to Europe from the States, 20 of us lost our luggage due to the airline not putting it on our plane. EF should consider giving travel groups a special luggage identifier prior to flying that ensures the airline will put the bags with those identifier tags on the plane. It is extremely difficult to purchase clothing and a suitcase for less than $300 when traveling for 12 days.
My daughter has the best time of her life. Thanks
EF is great to work with and I know my student will always be safe when traveling with them.
The tour was wonderful we seen lots a great sites and made wonderful memories for the cost of the trip. The tour guide was nice but when you had a request to go to the pharmacy you were asked to hold off. Guess it’s difference of cultures. Be ready to stick to the schedule and have late nights and early mornings.

This experience was a traveler's nightmare. Poor planning and poor execution by EF resulted in a terrible trip to Italy that improved slightly in Spain.

This was my first trip as a leader and it was just fantastic! The tour director EF selected for our group was the best! EF does a superb job in all areas of travel to provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational travel experience. Their connections across the globe also make their travel experiences a great value for all that you get! Top notch! Spain was so interesting and the history we learned about it was enlightening! (I came home with several movie suggestions and actually looked up a documentary in Spanish about one of the people we had heard about!) The education continues! And who couldn’t love Italy! This trip was fantastic and the experience gives me confidence to lead more trips! Thanks, EF!
Food was inedible if available (the meals “included” in the trip cost). Water and bathrooms are scarce desire the “deadly heat wave.” Tour guide lacked empathy and made disrespectful comments and jokes. Five back to back historical tours is shoveling information into a high schoolers brain and teaching them nothing. Even felt incredibly unsafe in several environments where we warned repetitively by the tour guide. I wish I had done my research and saw how bad this company was before I committed to this expensive mistake.

The itinerary is jam packed and you get to see a lot. We walked 7-8 miles per day so travelers should be prepared for that, especially if they plan to go in the summer when it is brutally hot. My kids were prepared though and did fine. We did end up having a little too much free time. I think it would be good to add Pisa into the itinerary to take up some time. EF should also be more cautious about the hotels that are chosen and the food that is served. We had two terrible meals, but did get an upgrade on one due to that.
Missed flights, missed tours, lost luggage, unclean lodging, lack of communication!
