Poorly organized. Lots of wait times, cancellations, and itinerary changes. I would not recommend.
Japan itself was great… however, the rushed schedule made it hard to enjoy and get the full experience.
This tour was too busy. With all the activities that were planned my students barely had free time. I wish this tour had a bit more educational aspects built into the Tokyo side. It felt like all we did was look at temples and shrines but didn't learn how those buildings played into the way Japan evolved. It was like one big shopping trip through Tokyo.
Our tour director, Kentaro, was incredible. The hotels were super clean, comfy, great breakfasts, and both had laundry facilities. My entire group loved have multiple opportunities for dinner on our own with so much free time. 10/10 would recommend!
The things we saw will stay in our minds forever.
Safe, exciting trip
The air was sweet and fresh! I immersed myself in the culture, savored Ramen, traveled by bullet train, visited a traditional Japanese village, and explored both a wind cave and an ice cave that involved squeezing through narrow passages. It was amazing, and I would love to return to Japan again, trying different adventures. So far, my favorite EF Tours trip was last summer (2025) to Costa Rica.
