Eir sucks

Eir sucks.
Its customer service is incredibly bad.
No answer to calls to support.
Does not recognize account number or landline.
Internal communications are non-existant.
Keeps billing me for services not delivered.
Eir should shut down ASAP.

No hope any more

I previously hesitated as to how to evaluate their services. I gave them three with a hope. I think I reachwd a boiling point now and would not give them more than 1. In addition to the bundle I have I bought broadband of off them. It woeked for a month and gone on 2nd September. As you know their customet care/tech support lines are inaccessible. I do not have a broadband, my wifi is volatile to thd extent I cannot use it. I live in Blessington. I think Eir are just scumbags.

No respect, concern for customers.

Disrespectful, ignoring customer calls, failing to answer for 20/30/40/50 minutes plus and then allowing the call to drop. Their site had no other working systems to contact them. The Webchat was not working. A visit to one of their shops was pointless, they gave us the same phone number we've been using and failing to get through on. This has been going on for years. Comreg can help but only after you've contacted Eir.

Avoid Eir, dreadful company (Mobile, Broadband, Customer Service)

I have been with Eir a number of years for broadband and mobile. I contacted them re their mobile phone coverage/signal (no 2G single in the timber framed new house despite their advertised coverage map) which they investigated and said there was no problem (many other people have the same issue in both areas, Sligo and Clare). Their mobile network (the old Meteor network) is pretty poor.
The broadband is temperamental with router reboots several times a week as the speed drops to 1-3MB and a router that some devices have difficulty seeing and connecting to. Eir customer service is a complete joke (but at least they dont outsource it to an Indian call centre (HCL Technologies) anymore who were worse than awful. A few days ago I waited 40 mins and over 1 hour to speak with a representative. I am in the process of switching broadband and mobile provider and shall celebrate when Im finally rid of Eir. My partner has had similar bad experiences with Eir with customer care, mobile signal, and an awful TV service offering.

Eir is the worst provider I have ever…

Eir is the worst provider I have ever been with. About 10 months ago a rep called to our house, promising the BEST coverage around, saying they had just spent millions on laying a new fibre broadband. The deal seemed too good to be true, but Leo gave us his number and said we could ring at any time with any issue. He said each mobile could be added for 10 euro each. When we visited the shop the shop assistants had no idea about this and seemed to say that the reps on the road were promising people things they could not provide. We finally got the mobiles sorted only to have the WORST coverage I have ever experienced. I'm talking about not having 3G walking around Dublin city. County Galway seems to be a complete blackhole. We are tied into a contract , but will have to leave as the service is just appalling. DO NOT be fooled by these sweet talking reps. They simply don't deliver.

EIR - keep away from them - the worst ever telecom company

My account with EIR will expire on 17.08.2020. I'm going to celebrate. I've never had such a negative experience. They owe me over €1,000 (thousand). I had a company sending me three texts at one time & charging me €2.50 a time. I blocked them but continued to be charged. EIR locked down my online account because they said I'd used an incorrect password too often. I have not been able to access it for months. I've spent HOURS trying to connect with EIR; have been cut off or left hanging for an hour a time. I called into an EIR store when they opened. He was great & has stopped the charges. But I'm owned money. I don't know where to turn now but cannot wait to leave them. What should I do please? Go to Conor Pope on Ray Darcy?

I'm not even going to go into it…

I'm not even going to go into it because anyone who's had an eircom.net email account will know. It's almost given me a nervous breakdown trying to get it sorted. Eir should absolutely be totally ashamed of themselves - its the worst services company I've ever come across - if I could give minus stars they'd be -100, at least. Terrible!!!!

Scam Scam Scam .

Scam Scam Scam .. Stay away from this company. They will sign you, but forget about it if you need to talk to them after signing. Have tried calling 6 times in the past 2 weeks. Gave up after 75 mins on hold. This company is using COVID 19 as an excuse not to provide customer services, all the while the taxpayer is paying their employees wages. Thats 5 months of wages they have saved by laying off their staff, not providing a service but obviously still collecting the money.. Best thing to do is not pay them, they wont be long ringing YOU then.

Please please avoid this shower of gob shties , pay the extra dollar for a better experience

AVOID THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST OF THE WHOLE LOT

I notified 2 weeks earlier moving home. They showed up after 4 weeks just for the technician to tell us he cant install it. I rang them no answer after 1 week rang me to asked me how the technician got on. I told them he couldnt make it. So they can not fulfill the contract, yet still charging me the whole bundle. Try to speak to them they put me trough quick call no one replies. Is being like that since the 27th june. Please cancel when your contracts expired. The worst of the worst. My wife got to a different company straight away after 3 days she rang. Frustration at 100%

Wanted to discuss my contract.Voice…

Wanted to discuss my contract.Voice said could be 30 minute wait.1hour and 45 minutes later no support voice.Headache and regret I had rejoined Eir broadband with tv+.I will not sign up to Apple tv and feel I am a fool to get snared into a trap of add on extras.Do not want the apple box, do not want to waste real living watching movies and fictional "glamour" and special effects escapism.Much more depth and satisfaction in a garden, being outdoors ,reading, listening to a radio or just doing nothing in particular..relaxing.
