impossible to report a stolen phone

No any way to contact any of the support care team. I tried to report a stolen phone on every platform since 2 weeks now, and no any luck. This is a telecommunication company and we can not communicate with them. And of course the bill is coming and I need to pay on time for a services what I did not used. Horrible service.

Promised 100mbs broadband got 16mbs!

Promised 100mbs broadband, then told 30mbs after installation. Only getting speeds of 16mbs and then told that actually 18mbs is the max. That's after hours and hours on hold. Avoid!

I wanted to give less than 1 star

I wanted to give less than 1 star. My 80 year old parents are waiting for a call back from eircom, so that eircom can unlock their e-mail account and they can start using their e-mail again. No such luck! 2 weeks. My father is getting stressed, as this is his primary contact with the outside world while they are locked down, and my mum can't go out as she'll die if she gets covid-19 following a bad bout of double pneumonia at Xmas. The e-mail is essential for them, and change is hard. Why would you want to run a communication business without contacting your customers? Terrible - do not go anywhere near this crowd.

A communications company that you cannot communicate with.

Eir, who own the infrastructure, are the most difficult company to get through to. I changed over from Vodafone more than two months ago to avail of an offer from Eir, and I was issued with a new phone number even though I was assured that my original number of more than 40 years would remain unchanged. I am still trying to have my original number restored after more that two months, and hours and hours of time wasted trying to get through to them. They are the most pathetic outfit I have ever had to deal with. Basically you are dealing with a major communications company that cannot be contacted. You can ring and ring all the numbers they have listed, and if you're lucky enough to actually get talking to someone, you will only be given yet another number to ring which is invariably one of the numbers you have tried a million times. After going through a load of prompts on other occasions and being left on hold in some cases more than an hour, the call will suddenly fail, and you have to go through the whole process again only to be told eventually that they cannot deal with your problem and that you will have to try yet another number. It goes on and on. Do NOT have anything to do with this useless outfit, as you will only end up in tears with frustration. I would not have given them even one star except that you have to in order to rate them. Rating? Worse than worse than worse than useless. Advice? run a million miles from them. close your account if your contract with them is finished. In contrast, Vodafone can transfer you from one department to another flawlessly apart from a wait time that generally isn't too long. Eir are just a scam outfit and should be struck off.

Signed up to eir for tv and broadband…

Signed up to eir for tv and broadband only to find there customer care took over an hour to answer the phone so cancelled within 3 days of signing up. Returned the equipment etc and now 500 euro later and still trying to get them to stop taking money for a service I don’t receive I’m tired and exhausted of trying to get my money back and still my direct debit comes out. DO NOT ENTER A CONTRACT OR Do business with this company the worst ever. Comreg should shut this down. And the people answering ther phones are so rude and horrible. Last company in the world I would sign with. Hi sky alll the way. They answer in less then 2 mins and better in every way

Eir has the worst support

Eir has the worst support, the first live chat agent I chatted with ended the chat on me, when I went to chat with another agent I explained what happened with the last chat and he failed to apologise or anything instead asking me "What is your query" This company has declined..

A very very dissatisfied Eir customer.

I cannot express adequately the level of dissatisfaction that I feel with Eir Service generally, my experiences with them over many years has been so negative and so frustrating.
I assume that the people, tech staff and customer service staff that I might eventually reach after waiting sometimes more than an hour on the phone, are themselves not to blame as they seem genuinely concerned and caring when they hear my tales of woe?? So I can only surmise that the absolutely lousy service that eir offer their customers is such because they have monolopy of being the State's National telephone provider and the management of Eir don't give a monkeys about the quality of service that they provide.
Whatever? it is my genuinely expressed opinion that they are the very worst service provider I have ever come across in a long life of being a consumer.
Although I might sound like a bit of a nut, I promise you I am not, but I am a very very dissatisfied Eir customer.

Great Service

I'd say the service is really good. I've read the reviews here and was really scared to switch from my last crappy provider to them. However , despite of the Covid-19 situation I had a flawless switching experience, got their fibre box that actually has a decent range and excellent features. The first bill was tricky to understand but once i gave it a second read i got what it entails . the first bill = A service or a part charge is just a part of the month you're paying until the next bill date + the bill for the next month. No hidden costs, nothing fishy, you just pay at the beginning of the month. I'm not Irish, but in comparison to my last provider , this one is excellent. Also the rewards for life and the amazon prime are really great add-ons.

ZERO STAR

ZERO STAR! BAD BAD BAD
this is the worst company I had the displeasure to know. I hired broadband and telephone services on March 13th until today I have no connection! already sent 3 technicians for wrong addresses I never received a technician in my house, in the correct address that is in my registration! after i left a negative review 3 agents called on this Saturday 28/03 to make sure my problem would be solved on Monday, 03/30. AND GUESS? a technician called me to schedule a visit on the next 3 days it’s ridiculous they don’t give a S* for customers and frustration time is unreal!! THIS COMPANY AND A BIT OF S* IS THE SAME THING! I cannot even cancel the contact because AFTER 1 month service has not been activated counting days to get it active so I can cancel this F* S* company from my life! RUN! RUN NEVER HIRE EIR company is a trash

Worst type of broadband in Ireland...

Worst type of broadband in Ireland.... signal and ping is atrocious , I’ve been with them for years and I’m finally changing to virgin. Constantly lags on all types of technology. I would not recommend anyone who is considering to install this WiFi into their homes. Absolute rip off. I’ve installed lan cables and it’s still only reaching speeds up to 3mb. Upload speed is embarrassing at around 100kbps as well. Tech support is awful...rang the support team 4 times waiting approximately 13 minutes and each time I got in contact with someone they hung up on me. Save your time and money by choosing any other broadband than Eir.

The worst company I have ever dealt…

The worst company I have ever dealt with. We signed up to a year contract for tv and broadband. The contract was due to finish Dec 2019. I called them beginning of November because at that point I had been warned that If you try to leave Eir they make your life hell. So I call to cancel which was very very difficult, a lot of time wasted on the phone. They tell me I had to post out their broad band equipment which I did extra early because I had at this point joined with Virgin. This was all back in December, we are now in March and they have sent me a bill for 130!! For absolutely no reason. They are a terrible company to deal with and have awful customer service. Don't be fooled by their cheap prices, IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Money robbing b**tards

So I joined EIR when I moved home to Ireland last August and I cannot stress enough how much trouble I’ve had with them😭 from being charged MULTIPLE times my €20 credit deal and only noticing because I happened to look through my bank statement, to literally finding it IMPOSSIBLE to get through to someone in customer service online so I actually went in store to get a number for them. When I did get through told they couldn’t refund me the extra €40 euro they took off me (took €60 altogether) and that I’d have to wait til my deal runs out next month and use my credit out of that €40 and reassured it wouldn’t go anywhere once I didn’t send any texts to use credit. Of course, the €40 has gone and I’m down to 0.60cent, apparently my ‘apps were updating’ in the background which is BULL because how could that cost almost €40 and I’ve always got either WiFi or my data if that was the case. There’s a lot more but I would highly recommend anyone even paying these pr**ks a dime go to a network that actually cares about their customers like 3 etc. Awfullll network delighted to say I won’t be dealing with them after the weekend🙂

W@NKERS

Currently have service with eir for many years now. Every time I call to add internet/WiFi to my current service they put me on hold. 3rd time calling now and doesn’t matter what time of day it is I wait around 30 mins each time to speak with someone and nobody ever picks up so I hang up. Going to get rid of all my service with them now maybe they might have an interest talking when I don’t pay the bill and get a new debit card... lol
