This is my go to website when i'm stuck. Every time I have rung up with a query or issue, I have received the best and most informative advice.
Employers Direct are amazing and so very prompt in returning calls too!

Good service but had to wait a long time for a call back, however they did call again the next day to check I was all set.

Really helped in a difficult position

I had queries regarding employment law which I was unable to find the answers to and when I called Employers Direct the staff were really helpful.
I wasn't made to feel stupid asking any of my questions and I received excellent informative advice on how to manage what I thought were complex issues.

Original contact very good, very happy with advice an knowledge of advisor. We're recommended to have someone visit to discuss the problems but very disappointed with the whole experience which followed from that visit

How poor that the advice being given free has to be followed up by the need to have to pay to be part of an organization that can help you "just in case you need our help".... Todays world!!. Not impressed.

Really useful to call and clarify information

The free advice given was concise and accurate. I though I had rung ACAS then realised I had rung a private company. For the next 2 weeks I was rung repeatedly (sometimes within a couple of hours of the previous call) to try and interest me in other services.

As the original matter was confidential I had made the phone call from home. They now had my personal ex-directory number despite me telling them that was not the number to contact me on. I had to threaten to take action over their harassment before they stopped calling.

I shall make sure I read the Google results carefully in the future to avaoid being caught like that again.

My questions were not answered at all. I was promised to get a call back to get some answers to my query but till today I have not been given the answers to my query.

I found employers direct to be very knowledgeable and helpful. The fact that this is a free service for employers is fantastic. Its accessibility can only help business comply to ACAS guidelines and avoid employee disputes and costly Tribunal's. This is even more relevant for those businesses that are smaller and may struggle to keep up with the minefield of UK employment law. Employers Direct can even support a business in a Tribunal in a worse case scenario. I am personally convinced, if you make a call at the right time to Employers Direct, that will not be necessary.
